I get my veggies here on Sundays and they never disappoint. Although price-wise, items tend to be more expensive than the median

Un centre commercial. You can find everything you want. Market. Bank. Shoping like appliances. Restaurants as well as club. But, i feel its saturated right now. Things are more expensive at the market than the tokpa market. Its a market for bourgeoise.

This is the best market in Cotonou for veggies, shrimps, meats, fruits for the best price... This is a market considered by the general population as a high end market for foreigners and rich people. I found the price here most reasonable than anywhere and top quality. Saturday morning there is a little Chinese stand selling fresh tofu. Fruits are sold inside and along the side of the street. There is a mini super market and a Chinese market across the street. People are exceptional nice and helpful. I am a Vietnamese living here for 2 years and I had a best experience. Love you Cotonou!

Marche Ganhi is a market in Ganhi within the city of Cotonou, in Benin Republic West Africa. There are major and minor businesses represented in Marche Ganhi. Major banks in Benin republic can be found within this market. Fashion shops, like Woodin, Perfume Shops, Book shops, Photographic shops, Travelling Agencies, Pharmacies, Fast Food Restaurants, Photographic shops, like Kodak, and Business Centres are all within the market. I must not forget to mention that food, fruits and vegetables are readily available in Marche Ganhi. African food with fresh fish, and seafood can be found in the market. If you are a lover of yogurt, then Marche Ganhi, is the right place, enter any of the Super Marche in Ganhi, and treat yourself to the best of Cotonou yogurt. There are places of worship all around Ganhi, in case the time for prayer meets you while buying things. There is muslim place of worship, and Christians too are not left out. Every week, you will find a church, where prayers are going around in Ganhi. French language and the local dialect are the two major means of communication in Marche Ganhi. But majority of the people can interact with English speaking people, because Benin Republic is bordered, by an English speaking country called Nigeria.

Buyer beware, sellers tend to overprice their goods. You have to negotiate down the prices they quote. Otherwise, really nice place to get fruits, vegetables, meat, spices and local snacks.

Commercial center of cotonou. You can get most of what you need in this market. One stop area for shopping in general if you need to avoid the crowd in dantokpa

It's a market, it's great don't get me wrong but it's not my style. I usually prefer stores to busy crowded areas on the streets
