City guest is is a mid-range accommodation in Djibouti town with very clean rooms and friendly hosting. All rooms are air -conditioned and spacious. Rooms are with breakfast but don't expect high-end food. While the food is very basic with coffee/tea, boiled eggs, baguette and croissants, it was sufficiently simple and satisfying for my taste. Excellent starting point for newbies to this part of the world!

Excellent in each sense!!! Am Italian and live in Ethiopia, passed 3 nite in Djibouti and the first day am arrived I had problem to withdraw money with my European Master Card, problem that I have not fixed!!! The stuff of the reception and the guardian too have taken care of me as family, they have let me have food for lunch and dinner without asking for nothing back and it was not their job to do it for the whole my staying, the owner of the Guest house is a great and kind man who came last nite to meet me in person and providing for my last dinner shared together, and he provided for any stuff I was needing before to leave. The owner and Leila the girl of the reception have done their best to help me out with my card etc having various solutions and well we fixed that problem (not the withdraw problem but yes we founded a solution) 🙂 there is a young guy at reception who do the nite shift and Mohammed the guardian such a brothers for me, they helped me out also to give me a trusted taxi guy who have been giving me his service and waiting last day for the payment!!! The rooms are very cleaned and there you have a very good breakfast, each room is very fresh and the girls who take care of are very good and each time you ask for things you need, they do the best for make you happy. SURE the next occasion for come again to Djibouti I'll definitely use City Guest hotel without hesitation.

I stayed here for 3 nights, lovely staff, very friendly and accomodating. Rooms come with good AC , a fan and either with or without private bathroom. The shared bathrooms are spotlessly clean. The breakfast could be better, scrambled eggs are cooked and left out to self serve, so stone cold after 10mins, this is the only downside. There's a good pizza place 4-5 doors down and a supermarket around the corner. It's only a $3 cab into centre-ville. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. English is spoken by the reception staff as well

I spend 3 days here. Good staff and good rooms specially single bed luxury. AC are working good and also they give good breakfast..

City Guest Hotel is a newly opened and in a great location. The rooms were clean, modern and well maintained. My stay was made comfortable the exceptional hospitality of staff and management, with particular thanks to Ali. I will be staying there in the future.

Wonderful place to stay in Djibouti! Located in Héron, big supermarket & bars / restaurants in walking distance. Very secure with premises being guarded during nighttime. Extra friendly & attentive staff that will go out of their way to assist you. The room was spacious, very clean & air conditioned :) Definitely will come back here and recommend to friends visiting, great value for money!

You have to walk 500m to reach to the bus if you want taxi its so close from the hotel

I have been at this hotel it’s peaceful,clean the receptionist handle you like a family and its near to the beach and i rate it 4/5 so staying at city guest will be worthy.
