You will reach to the caves via the cable cars. you pay one fee to access two caves, the upper cave walk inside by foot and the cave ,enjoy the gondola ride or boat.. Unfortunately it's not allowed to take photos as you're phone or camera will be taken before you get in, I guess it's for safety reasons.

Jeita Grotto is one of the best tourist attraction in Beirut. It is located at 25 minutes drive approx. 21 km from Zaituney Bay the center of Beirut. From ticket station you can go to Upper Grotto by Train and than explore the most Beautiful cave by walk. The only issue is that you can't take pictures and videos inside. You have to put your camera and mobile phone in locker at entrance. The ticket prices is 18,315 LL. That includes Upper and Lower Grotto and Train ride..

The Jeita Grotto (Arabic: مغارة جعيتا) is a system of two separate, but interconnected, karstic limestone caves spanning an overall length of nearly 9 kilometres (5.6 mi). The caves are situated in the Nahr al-Kalb valley within the locality of Jeita, 18 kilometres (11 mi) north of the Lebanese capital Beirut. Though inhabited in prehistoric times, the lower cave was not rediscovered until 1836 by Reverend William Thomson; it can only be visited by boat since it channels an underground river that provides fresh drinking water to more than a million Lebanese.

Very beautiful cave and one of the biggest cave in Lebanon and middle east. You walk on a bridge till the end of the grotto then you have to go back in the same road toward exit.

Jeita Gratto is an iconic place and a must visit for anyone visiting Lebanon or living there. After a nice drive we reached the paid parking garage. Buying tickets was easy, we waited for the small train to take us up, which was a long wait of almost an hour, we didn’t know that path up wasn’t that far, if you are not too old or have young children, you can easily do it with small effort. We started from the upper Grotto which was amazing, fascinating and breathtaking. Walking around was a charming experience, but be careful of the slippery paths due to humidity.

Absolutely beautiful and worth the trip. The entire area is scenic, so the drive there is an adventure by itself.

Irresponsible people are taking photos with flash inside the cave with their phones, the guards are not so organized.

4 stars bc the caves are beautiful but you cannot take pictures & that was kinda strange. Not much to do but the wonders of how our planet is ever changing was worth the trip!

Stunning, no photos because you aren't allowed to take your cell phone or camera in.
