Delicious food and dessert. The place was perfect. It has an amazing view of Jounieh, and the overall entrance and design are really nice. Prices are fair. They also have a small playground for kids. Highly recommended, you should definitely try it, and make sure to leave room for dessert 😋😋

2023.09.03 Dinner at Amar restaurant. The view of Jounieh City was awesome. It was very busy on a Sunday. Better reserve. The food was very tasty. The service was OK but it could be better. The place was crowded.

Along woth drinks and desserts options. Offering and seascape view, would be perfect at sunset for outdoor area. Staff is friendly but not that attentive. Food taste and quality were good but not outstanding. Valet parking available at location. There is a small kida playground outdoor when kids enjoyed their time. Would somehow recommend it, will appreciate the view more than the food itself. Salads, fattoush and Tabbouleh were excellent. Humus and moutabbal were below average. Hendbej and fries werw just okay. Items from the grill were very good.

I loved this restaurant. Very delicious food, and the view is amazing. I visited in November 2021, so the windows were closed, but I am sure in the summer would be open for an unbreathable scenery. Went there on Sunday for lunch, nice location, wonderful view with outdoor playground, welcoming staff, clean place and attractive. We ordered some items between cold and hot mezza and bbq, the service was fast and the food was delicious, affordable prices, recommended.

The food is amazing. I’ve never had such tender grilled meat. It truly is very high quality. Their tabbouleh is perfect (i usually always have something to criticize about a restaurant’s tabbouleh). Even their desserts are really good. Go there right before sunset to see the wonderful view (make sure to reserve a table by the sunset). The only thing I can criticize is their lack of fans at our table since the weather was pretty hot and the sun coming right at us, so we would have appreciated some cooling.

The place was not clean. The table also were sticky. We went thinking the kids could play in the playgroug but it was not safe at all neither clean nor the starirs to the kids area were safe. Cats were crawling between our legs. The foor was of a very poor taste. The samboosek was awful the meat in it was disgusting. The arayes also had the same disgusting meat as the sambousek and barely had meat in them. The chicken came in raw and they tried to convince us that it is normal that the chicken color be reddish, they then replaced it with taouk that was the only thing eatable. The prices are expensive. Not recommended at all.

Food: we ordered slightly a-typical mezza (hindbeh & fatte for example) and were positively surprised, however the typical mezza was disappointing. The cheese rolls weren't good (the cheese is tasteless), and the hummus & batata harra were very average. Service: it was great, the waiters were very friendly and always passing by (sometimes a bit too much, they took away a plate of hummus that wasn't finished yet but it's an understandable mistake - we were too shy to tell them to keep it as it wasn't worth it). Atmosphere: it was a Wednesday night in February so only indoor seating and the place was at 20% capacity max. I can imagine it's nicer in the summer when there's outdoor seating.

After 3 weeks in Lebanon, this was our last night out and it was perfect. Simply put, not worth it. The one star is for the view. Extremely overpriced and with mediciore food and service We ordered a BBQ chicken that was 35000 lbp (very overpriced). The chicken came with no fries or salad which cost another 35000 lbp. Even worst the chicken smelled old and was cold. When sent back the management refused to provide another or to remove it from the bill (though it remained untouched since it simply reaked). Instead they wanted to know when did it start smelling and to investigate the issue. Won't come back again and wouldn't recommend it either.

I can rate this restaurant as one of the best in Lebanon, regarding the view (breathtaking panoramic views from Harissa mountain over Jounieh bay) and regarding the quality of food (excellent Lebanese food). I used to rate this restaurant as 5 stars but today i will give them 3/5. Although i had a reservation one day before coming and i insisted to have a table with a view, and the employee on the phone accepted my request. But they were so unwelcoming when we arrived and refused to give us such a table and they said they cannot give a table with a view for only 2 persons! And when we decided to leave, Mr Rodolph solved the problem and seated us on the table that i want. One more negative thing is that they don’t offer complimentary fruits and desserts after lunch or dinner like other well known restaurants.

Could’ve easily gave 5 stars the only issue was the seating. We made a reservation before just for the view but ended up with a table without a view. Eventually the problem was solved. All the staff was very understanding. So thumbs up from us. The food was top tier. Everything was super tasty and well presented. 6/5 on the food quality. Will definitely be coming back
