Yesterday we had dinner resevation at Le Gargotier Broumana,  and I must say it was a total disappointment on so many levels ,the food is less than mediocre for the price and to make it even worse it is not even close to authentic. First we ordered the French onion soup as a starter, where it was average ,lacking the main ingredient which is the wine and on top of that overpriced . Secondly we ordered 4 different platters of steak and here came the ultimate disappointment, where it was tastless and flavorless, in addition to that the meat cut was terrible, chewy unedible and pure torture for your jaws, and let's not talk about the fries that were soggy and tastless as well... Salad was soooo poor.The only tasty item were the snails. As for the ambiance it was cozy but the service was a disaster where u feel that the waiters and the personel over there are serving a jail sentence with their gloomy unfriendly faces except for the lady that runs the place. Bottom line, I don't recommend this overrated restaurant, and I would leave zero stars if I could, and of course we will never return back.

As usual, one of the best if not the best restaurant in Brumana. Great and spectacular service and food. The owner is always there to welcome you and to make sure your visit is worth it.

The minute you walk in to this restaurant you know you have made the right decision. Nested in an old block, this place oozes class - pristine white tablecloths, and a lot of decoration such as paintings and various ornamental stuff. Hmm you might think this is going to cost a fortune but it's a tasty delicious and affordable restaurant. It's one of the restaurants I used to come here as little kid with my parents and I enjoy coming here with friends, family or on a date (haven't been on a date lately). The snails they serve I have to admit, they are far more mouthwatering than my mom's

The sitting outside is very nice, the waiter wasn’t very friendly, the salads were good, but the filet was missing spices/ salt a bit of bland. The sorbet was tasteless.

The restaurant has charming vintage interior that transports you to Paris. We were seated on the terrasse (smoking area). The menu is 100% French and includes Escargots, Chateaubriand, Tournedos au Champignon.... The starters were very good, meat main dishes could be better.

Underwhelmed with my most recent visit. The steak was completely bland and flavorless. Was pretty disappointed but hoping they can bounce back from a new low.

One of the best onion soupe i ve ever tasted. The appetizers are also delicious. As for the steak, it is good but we mostly enjoyedbthe appetizers and the soupe The waiters are very friendly and tells all you need to know abt the menu.

The meat is excellent in this place, salads and entrees are good, an issue with thr service is that the waiters tend to disapear and at the time we were there there was a low ranking waiter which was behaving unprofessionally with clients. Proximity to the main road tends to be noisy with some exhaust smell from time to time. But the food is definitely worth it

A family owned, old style, french restaurant that’s been in broumana for around 57 years. always serving heart warming and delicious food, super friendly service and amazing atmosphere all throughout the year! Ive been going to this restaurant since i was a child with my parents and it’s still as good as the first time ive tried it! ✨✨

good steak, charming time traveler setting, and helpful staff. We had the onion tart and a steak, I feel it is a safe destination if you are craving a good filet.

Let me start by saying, we used to LOVE this place, but haven't been back since the start of the pandemic. Service has always been rude. It's ruder than ever. My grandmother had made a big reservation for the whole family, in person, sat at discussed the menu with them. When we got there, they said there was no table for us. They managed to put something together in the smoking part of the restaurant. One row of the table was completely stuck in. Service was so rude, they'll talk back or interrupt you or even walk away and leave you hanging in the middle of a sentence. Food used to be great, in the past. Let's leave it at that. Last but not least, be careful when you pay. They'll get you on the exchange rate.

The place is old but gold, the decoration is nice. People are friendly there and the service is good. The starters were delicious to mention salade chevre chaude, tarte au thyn and tarte a l'oignon and escargots. As for the steak, I tried the entrecote and filet de beouf a la moutarde and unfortunately both cuts were not tasty at all and I did not enjoy the meat.

Le gargotier an old well known french style restaurant in broumana always crowded specially during the weekends the staff are welcoming the interior is cozy the food is very good a menu with a variety of dishes to suit all the needs also a wide variety of beverage menu wine , whiskey, etc ... we took a seat and ordered the food the hot bread served with butter balls as a start " ball shaped butter are difficult to handle " then they served the goat cheese salad it was nice they present it Hot over A toast Bread with garnish and tasty dressing, the main dishs were cordon bleu and poulet gargotier* a must try dish we orderd local wine and for the desserts we had creme de maron overall experience is good ****

Very old restaurant in Broumana. European food. Try the the stakes and schnitzel -cutlet. For desert, if you like grand marnier, try Le Parisien

Lovely nostalgic atmosphere, authentic French ambiance, the steaks are succulent and the service well-attentional. I definitely recommend it for a nice dinner on the terrace in a breezy summer night.

Nice and cozy french restaurant. Food portion in big. Not to miss the onion soup and if u like meat try l'entrecote de bœuf
