I was here on business. I only had to deal with the front desk a couple of times for extension of my stay. They were truly helpful with everything I needed. But in my opinion, what really set this place above others, was the simple fact that housekeeping replaced my coffee every day. For me, it's the little things. I'm always gone before breakfast and I return late. So little things mean a lot for a traveler like me. Towels and coffee. The morning guy at the front desk was awesome. He even opened the doors for me early so I could extend my stay and get a cup of Joe. Thumbs up

Looking at these reviews i feel maybe i was put in a horrible room on purpose. The sink clogged and filled with water every time i used it, there was a huge dirt stain in the tub and there was pet hair all on our sheets. Horrible experience. Not to mention the bathroom area that was unfinished. Thermostat also didn't work.

WoW, excellent find, lots of shopping and eateries in the area. Very Clean, neat, nice rooms and Heat /AC actually work, in a well lit location and decent area. Employees are really nice and cordial. The best find in many years off of 95. Will be back there for sure!

The bed and pillows were comfy, the room was clean, check in was seamless and the room was as expected. I was going to give it 5 stars until I went to breakfast. It was the very bare minimum. The coffee was watery and horrible. The pancake maker that wasn't on. Otherwise predictable. Two cereals, toast, bagels, yogurt, juice, coffee. I would stay again but go to breakfast elsewhere. It felt safe and clean.

First of all, as soon as we arrived around 8pm, we are attended by the worst Lady in this planet. She kept to staring at me and my kids like second category human beings.. that was more than rude and disrespectful. When I felt that it was so.much I asked to her if she needed something. She just moved her head but she didn't stop to watch us. I felt so bad, discriminated and my kids didn't stop to wonder if they did something wrong. We're never gonna come back to this hotel again!!!

We had a nice stay even though our ac/heater went out. The weather was nice so we didn’t have to use it and our last night I spotted a roach climbing the wall of our room. Other than that, it was a pretty good stay.

Five stars all-around. I can agree 💯 with other comments about cleanliness and helpful staff. I felt safe and the rooms were clean. The buildings are old but like others said you can tell its very well taken care of.

Our room smelled so bad we went to get Lysol. Didn't help. Had to be poor sanitary ventilation. Bathroom reeked of the smell. Every flush of the toilet brought a fresh wave of the funk. Tub fixtures were not sealed. Funk coming in. Made breathing and sleeping a mess. By the time we realized what it was it was late and figured every room would be the same. Only one night, was like sleeping in a portajohn Stingy with the towels. Cheap on the toilet paper. Refurb was done on the cheap. If you're gonna spend money painting hire pros. Do not go cheap on painters that paint over door hinges, poor trim work lines and leave splatter all over everything. E for effort, F for execution. Hire professional cleaning staff, not family. There is a difference. Put family in charge of management stuff and get real housekeepers. Spend a little and see how much you make back with repeat customers instead of one-and-done.

Avoid this place. My door looks like it has been kicked in and is missing the security latch. I had to request a "do not disturb" sign and told me that they would still still do "turndown" service, which defeats the purpose of the sign. There is no sign from the main road because it is located behind a couple of businesses, so if you had to without Google Maps, it's almost impossible. And they "upgraded" my room by putting me in a room with 2 twin beds instead of the king size that I booked due to renovation. I guess it goes without saying: you get what you pay for.

It wasn't a bad experience, the place was at least pretty quiet. The pool was rather small, and needed cleaned/taken care of better. Checking in & out was quick and easy. This place is near Walmart/Target, shopping plazas, and about 20 minutes away from St. Simon's Island. My one big issue was the cleanliness. There was dirt/dust piled up on baseboards, carpet was absolutely filthy (it NEEDS shampooed, our feet were almost black it was so dirty and gross feeling), pillow cases had to be changed because they also did not look clean, and the mini fridge wasn't working too well, it needed defrosted for sure.

It's an older building but it's well taken care of and clean with modern decor. We were comfortable and had a good night's sleep. We were late for breakfast (6am-9am), but the front desk lady was nice and gave us two bagels that we toasted and had with cream cheese at 9:30am. We are pleased with the service and a good night's sleep. The Baymont was great for our night in Brunswick! There was a review with a beat up chair but I noted in our room the chair was in perfect condition (looked new). The area is very lovely, there's a lot of restaurants and the area has a nice feel to it.

First of the TV satellite receiver located on the back of the television kept resetting itself, which made the cable inconsistently working. The bathtub was absolutely disgusting. Apparently they tried to reglaze it, but did a horrible job. It was dirty, and Russ stains were in the bottom of it. The stopper was out just laying in the tub. The carpet did not extend all the way from the front entrance to underneath the sink so the underneath the sink was bare concrete and dirty I would not recommend this hotel even on a budget I have called the owner three times and yet , have they called me back

Room was clean with no negative issues to report. Not much interaction with staff due to leaving early and returning late at night. Staff did open breakfast early being that we had to start a day early. Room was serviced every other day. Hotel was for the most part pretty quiet. The last night of our 5 night stay, an idiot Decided to start playing music at 4 am. I pers didn’t hear it, but my two other counter parts did hear it and kept them awake the rest of the morning. I personally would have confronted him, but coworkers chose not to. Desk clerk should have handled the situation or called the authorities We were told he was a permanent resident. Time to kick his a$$ out. I mean it didn’t appear the hotel was that busy. I would stay there again

Katie gave us a first floor room after we left the desk. She met us around back where both rooms were. We were going to be on the second floor with no elevator. My wife is disabled and we both really are greatly appreciative! Thanks Katie!

This review is based on our most recent stay in February 2023. Have stayed many times and have had the best experience. In February, we were put in an upstairs room that had no tv remote, blood on the walls, dirty socks left on the floor under bench and faucet in bathroom was detaching from the sink. Asked for a different room and was told they were full although there were empty parking spaces left late at night. Staff tried to accommodate but this was a horrible stay. Do not take room number 200

Great location. Pet friendly. Friendly staff. Beds are comfortable. Rooms are small but good enough for the night. Clean. Awesome pillows. 3.28.2023. Only 2 towels so ask for extra. Lots of shopping and restaurants in walking distance. We like that we can park in front of the door and walk into our room. Great for us seniors staying at ages 76 and 95.

Unfortunately the mini fridge in my room was not working and I asked to be moved to a new room. Then, the AC in the room was not working either so there is definitely an issue with keeping facilities updated.

My room was out of date for sure.  100 bucks a night for old carpet, old shower,  and a wobbly toilet was disappointing but I needed the stay so it was what it was. There's only like 5 drinks to choose from the vending machine but it doesn't even work. Just tells you to make another choice to everything so you end up just getting your money back.  The snacks are also very limited but didn't even try that one so I don't know if it worked. The breakfast suuuuucks. It's the bare minimum for sure. I mean BARE MINIMUM.  Don't even try to go in there 🙄..... I stayed for 1.5 weeks. I paid day by day bc I didn't know how long I would be staying. I paid on time every single day yet 4 different times I was asked or told to pay. There's NO COMMUNICATION between the front desk and owners for *paid* and *not paid* customers... On my last night a complete stranger walked in my room WITH A KEY CARD while I was in the shower. Scared the MESS out of my children. The older housekeeper (she's hard of hearing) was super sweet! She asked me every time she saw me if I needed anything. ☺️ I never needed anything but I really appreciated her asking me. She definitely put a smile on my face. I'm not sure if the two "manager" people (I think they are husband and wife) are the owners or not but if they are, they have 0 customer service.

When first going into the room it seems very clean. But when we went to the restroom there were baby cockroaches in the bathroom. Don't know how many were on the carpet before we couldn't see them. My brother who was also traveling with us had a separate room and he also had the small cockroaches in his room as well. We were on the second floor and he was on the first floor. So they must be throughout the hotel.

The problem we experienced is that in spite of covid precautions we made, we had no idea that the motel would give us a room with dirty sheets. We actually didn't find out until night two, when we found two toenail shards in the bed with us. They of course moved quickly the next day, but what prevents this from happening daily. And with covid surging, are we safe in Baymont properties? There appears to be no quality control at this location.

If I could give a 0 I would ! I rented a room in the middle of the night while on a trip . When I got to the room 207 I checked the locks and latch as I usually do, since I’m a young women traveling alone. I pulled at the door to make sure latch was secure and the whole door frame fell off! I mean the wood popped off! So if any one wanted to break in the latch would not hold since the door frame was completely loose! This clearly freaked me out since there was no security to the door. I went to speak to the receptionist Mike and he informed me that they could give me a refund. He didn’t offer another room so I’m guessing they were booked. I was very uneasy so I left very quickly . When I called for a refund they refused to give me one. Even though the room was not secure and I did not stay . I advise any young women traveling alone to avoid this hotel. Im very disappointed in the costumer service . I usually enjoy my stays in Wyndham .

Close to 95. Room was old but still clean. Bed was comfortable enough after being up for 18 hours. I have a service dog and was still charged a fee for him. Not sure this was legal/correct but I wasn't going to argue. I just wanted to get some sleep.

The room was big, clean, cool, and welcoming. The bed was firm but comfortable, and the pillows were fluffy and supportive. The TV had tons of channels to sit back and relax. The water got hot fast in the shower, the water pressure normal, but not strong. Check in was fast and easy. It was a perfect restful stop about halfway home for us.
