This review is hard to write. I used to enjoy Ipanema, a lot! It was a Brazilian restaurant serving Brazilian food from starter to desert and a great bar making the best bloody mary in Qatar. It is now, less Brazilian than it has ever been. Don't get me wrong, the Brazilian manager is still extremely nice and welcoming, the staff is still on point and great which honestly is the only positive thing about the restaurant now. I used to be excited to go and eat Brazilian specialities, amazing salads and starters not served anywhere else in Qatar! They now serve hummus, taboulet and Arabic starters, what a shame! Yes they still serve the grilled meat served to the table but that's the basis in a way. And the deserts are the only ones that retained their Brazilian heritage. I liked to come to Ipanema to be swept of my feet and be transported to Brazil. I'm now back to Qatar! I'm sorry if I'm being harsh but I'm just disappointed. The food is okay just lacking the Brazilian in Brazilian restaurant.

If you have ever tried a Brazilian steak restaurant before or good steak for that matter, you will know that this ranks at the bottom. On top of this, the appetizers and salad were horrible - they served us hommous!! I understand the concept of localization but this was bad. Look at the salad - a street restaurant would serve better than this. I am not setting any expectations anymore when it comes to food and service in Doha but this is too much. Staff were nice and responsive and they haves courteous Arabic chef who came to our table and listened to us.

Great place to eat with occasional live music. Staff is very courteous and pleasant. They offer a variety of meat ( steak, chicken, shrimp, and lam). They also have a small bar area. After the meal, you can take in the city views from the 7th floor of the hotel. It gives great ambiance with the roof top deck and pool with lounge chairs. Perhaps best in the evening as the summer days can be very hot and humid.

We always love the food here. This Brazilian steak house is the best in doha. My favorite is Picanha (pronounced pee-kahn-yah) is a cut of beef that is popular in Brazil. The cut comes from the top of the rump cap muscle. If u are a meat lover this place is for u. They have u limited meat cut coming on your table. There is a buffet of appetizers and salad. It’s a little expensive compared to other steak house but it’s worth the money. It’s a good place for date nights and special occasion.

Used to go to this place very often before pandemic started. My recent visit was ok but not woww. Meat was not as tasty as it was before. Still the ambiance cannot be beaten.

The friendliest staff you will meet, and as much of the most delicious meat you can eat. Other dishes and side dishes were just as good. The custom made ceviche may take a while to be ready, but it is well worth it. I will definitely become a regular, and my wife and kid feel the same.

They definitely nailed the main course without a doubt and literally feed you right upto your throat. Overall a good experience though and worth trying atleast once.

Went on a date there years ago and had a fabulous time. And, now went there as a family. The service and attention you get from staff is amazing. The fact that some of the staff spoke Spanish enhanced the experience. I would say this to management the womens outfits could be better.

I had a dinner with my family at Ipanema and the restaurant and their services were great, but the quality of meat was less than average. They didn’t come around with any grilled seafood to our table. Salad bar was fine, ceviche station was unattended so didn’t have a chance to try. Drinks were good, ambience was good also. I wish they served better meat.

I’ve heard how great this place is and was really excited to finally try it out. The service was amazing, everyone was so friendly. It was a spur of the moment work dinner for my husband’s company that happened to fall on his birthday. Ms Ness and her team surprised him with a lovely cake and song after the meal. We loved the food, the meat was a bit too salty at times but overall the experience was excellent! My daughter especially loved dancing along with the live entertainment.

I love this place I can't eat here enough. There's one other Brazilian steakhouse that I have not tried in Doha but if you're thinking about a Brazilian steakhouse and having to choose between Texas de Brazil at the mall, Don't go to the Texas de Brazil. The brunch here is really really good and the best price for all you can eat steak and drinks. I probably eaten here about five times in 10 months. The staff is great and that cinnamon pineapple, wow they know to keep that coming to me all night long.

The best thing about this restaurant is the meat. I had so much meat, I couldn’t breathe. The atmosphere is really nice, relaxing, and family friendly too. I enjoyed the tres leche desert, it was very well prepared. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone craving authentic Brazilian cuisine.
