Came here late at night, the staff are ready to serve us despite the lack of time. The food is fine, not exceptional though. The chicken fijita is quite tough, taco's? Taste good but 57 qar for 3 pcs of tiny soft shell tacos? Uhmm. .kinda overpriced. Atmosphere? Cool aesthetic and colorful.

Don't believe the Hype, especially the flashing logo in the website voted number 1, I assume it's not hard when you are the only Mexican style restaurant near by. It was not what people have said, or they don't really know Mexican/Hispanic food. Service was disorganized, slow, no follow up from the staff. Had to keep calling them over for simple things like refills. Eventually, I got up and went to the bar to get the drinks. Food was ok at best, ceviche was more like seafood coleslaw and they don't serve it with Tortillas, I asked for some tortillas and the manager said we don't serve it like that here, so I asked if she would bring some...she stormed off and didn't bring any. The chicken fajitas came on a bed of onions, the Shrimp tacos had the tails still on, the chilli con queso was basically canned Hormel chilli. I think the local owners should take the time and fly to Mexico or South America to see how these foods are prepared. Will not be going back to this restaurant. Sorry just did not meet my expectations.

Amazing attention to detail. Great staff, checked on us frequently. Food was amazing. Tampiquena seasoning and flavor is true to Mexico. The tacos had well rounded and delicious flavor to them. We like it soo much, we ended up ordering again with delivery to our home!

Overall a very good experience. Churros Deserts are Must have. Slow cooked lamb is amazing. For veggies..try the Veg. Fajitas. Parking is just behind the restaurant. Sitting outside is a good experience too. They will provide water coolers for you. Staff is friendly too.

Isla Mexican kitchen is our favorite Mexican restaurant not only for their delicious food but also their artistic ambience. Being artists, this is a very attractive place. We were hosted by Mohid who was very kind and helpful.

Best Mexican restaurant have been, portion are good but pick a main or 2 tacos. but the care taken to cook and serve is unique

Delish!!! Food and ambiance was on point. I had a pina colada, the shrimp tacos and the sweet corn soup. All of them were scrumptious. Our server Mary was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back again soon.

Disappointed in the portion sizes. Almost qr 60 for 3 tiny tacos. Service was just fine. House specialities lacked flavor. Tasted bland. Ambience was good. A 1 litre bottle of water (still/sparkling) costs qr 25. Why isn't there an option for a local brand of water especially in this hot weather. Will not recommended.

We recently visited Isla Mexican Kitchen Restaurant at the Pearl and had the pleasure of being served by Mustapha, who was absolutely exceptional. Not only was the food delicious and authentic, but Mustapha went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was top-notch. He was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, and really made me feel welcome. His recommendations we spot on; our enchiladas and soups were amazing. Let's not forget about the ambiance of the restaurant's terrace that was cozy and inviting, definitely something to consider when the weather is nice. I highly recommend Isla for a delicious and memorable Mexican meal in Doha, and be sure to ask for Mustapha - he's the best!"

A beautiful restaurant at a beautiful location, nice Mexican food too. However, the staff… I was there with my 2 other friends to celebrate new year’s eve. We waited for 20 minutes for someone to come and take our order. Despite of making an eye contact didn’t get the attention. There were staff busy talking to each other so ofc it wasn’t busy with customers I went to ask them to take the orders Later before the new year they started distributing the hats, poppers, party horns etc. every time it was only us who got nothing. My friend went to ask for those and they gave only hats on our table. Rest everything else were for the same group of people, which was everyone but us I’m not looking for those to have. Easily affordable outside, however, what I’m trying to say is, “we were left out that night where everyone else got the VIP treatment”. I’m not sure if I can give another visit there, if looking for a Mexican food

The place has a pleasant ambiance, and the staff were kind and attentive. However, I was surprised by the size of the portions of tacos, which I found to be overpriced. Additionally, the tacos seemed to lack seasoning. Based on my experience, I personally would not choose to go there again, and I do not recommend it.

We walked from the other end of the island but it was definitely worth it. One of the best places to taste Mexican food 🙏🏼

After a few years outside Mexico we were craving our flavors, Isla just started their brunch and guys you got to try it. Thank you Marvic and Chef Jesus for making it happen, those Chilaquiles and the Tlayuda with beef were just like back home, the Elotes and the mole coloradito just like the ones in Puebla or Oaxaca, I wish my stomach was bigger to keep eating !! Thank you for having us today. BTW The new deco it’s real cool !!! Almost forgot, the Horchata water was delicious.

Awesome place to dine in for the people who love to explore Mexican food. We met Vijay who was our waiter, gave us very good customer service. We were impressive he was aware about all the dishes in the Menu where as some places waiters doesn’t know. The atmosphere was really nice, the food amazing and the staff very good.

This is maybe my 6th visit to Isla excluding all the takeaways and each time I have enjoyed the ala carte menu. Today we were visiting at lunch and thought we would try the business lunch. We arrived at 3pm the waiter decided to make his own rules up stating that it's the weekend and we don't have business lunch. I was confused because it was Thursday and online they advertise business lunch till 4pm. He went and got clarity from someone who knew better and we ordered. The Sopa de Lentejas was delicious excellent flavours. Vegetable empanada needed a bit more flavour. The Mains of Beef Cazuela was terrific. Overall a great business lunch and good value for money.

That place we always come back for more. All employees are superfriendly and Mustafa always makes us feel home. The food is fresh and full of flavour. The environment and decoration are perfect.

Went there for dinner. Lovely service and food. There was also a live band which was a nice surprise, although we did feel like it was a bit too loud. No need to reserve. Would go again.

Had Tortilla soup, Tacos de Camaron, Mole con Pollo & Campesina with Ate Guava Cake, food was good, nothing that amazed me to be honest but it's good!

I got the tacos de chicharrón and they literally had one shrimp in each taco. As you can see the salsa takes up half the plate. For the price, horrible portions!!

We ordered business lunch that took 54 minutes to be served… Cold And chewy beef cazuela… we went inside the kitchen to ask them to reheat the food…. No one is even in the restaurant attending the guests… extremely disappointed…. Way too far from hospitality…

Me and my friends have brunch here. The location was great especially the outdoor seating. Food was excellent and service was fast. Staff are friendly and helpful especially Ms. Marivic who assisted us and always checking out on us for any of our needs. Highly recommended if you’re around the Pearl area.

My friend and I went to this restaurant on July 4th, 2021. No reservation was needed so we decided to try it out. The prices are affordable and not high. And to our surprise, the food was so delicious that we even commented on it to the staff and the chef! It is a talent to cook like that! The staff was very friendly and approachable, it was comfortable to dine there, and I would like to thank Rhoda for great delivery of service to us. There were so many complimentary dishes from restaurant as well (churros, dessert, nachos with sauces while waiting for food; the chef even made us chicken breast in sauce as a compliment) which made this experience one great one and memorable as well! Will definitely recommend it to all of my friends and will come back to this place!

I ordered some Nachos with chicken, and my husband got Beef Fajitas and we both absolutely enjoyed it! Every bite was very flavorful and left us satisfied with our choice to eat here. Also! I would recommend getting their traditional guacamole..they make it right in front of you and tastes of course amazingly fresh! Overall lovely experience!

After all the good reviews I read online, we finally decided to try the place. I made a reservation online requesting for a specific table and I called the restaurant right after I received the confirmation to make sure that they saw my request and I was told an assured that it will be reserved for me. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation time. One of the waitress came to me and I told her I made a reservation but she completely dismissed me without even checking what I reserved for and led me to a different table. I pointed at the table I reserved and she told me that the table is reserved already. If only she listened to me and check my reservation. We finished eating already and the table remained unoccupied. Food took too long to come and the tacos are already cold when we got it. All waiters were kind enough to check if the other tables are okay or if they need anything. They are literally checking from time to time while just passing at us like we don't exist. They were also kind enough to give wet wipes to all of the tables except our table. The people in this restaurant are straight up racist. I have dined in so many places here in Doha but this place was by far the worst place I have been in. Not only that the food was bad but the staff are bad as well. I don't mind paying the price I paid for last night even if the food is not good as long as the service is great. We usually tip waiters specially if the service is good but not last night and I don't regret it.

Thank you for hosting dinner with my impromptu night. I always enjoy a good taco and I am on a mission to find a good Mexican cuisine in Doha, Qatar. Amazing ambience! I like the graphics, lights and comfortable chairs. This place is definitely a good place for outdoor dining. It is within the reasonable price for the quality of the food and the location. I definitely recommend this place for dining 🍽

Definitely very good food with nice view of the Porto Arabia. Am not sure if live music is year round entertainment but we did enjoy it during our visit. If there is one thing that is an opportunity is that the staff should put a smile - because a good smile can be seen even behind the mask.. :-)

Sorry to say, the food didnt deliver right at all. Guacamole barely had any avocado. The tacos were last minute changed cz they realised they dont have the ingredients, then came all messy and underseasoned and tasted of nothing. The churros pure disappointment. They looked NOTHING like the picture. Came bold, overfried and just soggy with sugar, tough old doughnut is not a churro. The servers were discriminatory the guacomole was supposed to be done infront of us, our table next to us got the show, we didnt and we didnt get our food right or done right. I paid hundreds for pure disappointment. Not one or 2 things gone wrong. I suggest they update photos in the menu to the real food served.

The beef fajita was superb. A bit priceey, but very tasty

Had the Ramadan Sharing menu. It was so good. The standout in the food was their lamb. It was cooked to perfection. The staff are very courteous..

We have this seafood platter called Desde el Mar which was really good when we mixed it all together. The Campesina was my favourite meat and mashed potato dish where the meat was textured just like the mash potato. It was very well cooked and fantastic.

Hi Good Morning, I would like to thank Abdelahi if I remember his name correctly but we visited last monday night and he was graciously serving us. We would like to commend him by consistently checking on us if everything was all good with the food. Over all the experience was amazing that makes me wanna come back and try more another dishes.
