The Hispanic manager was rude and dismissively wouldn't entertain a request for vaccinated people to sit together. With condescending behavior and a shut off attitude, it felt pointless to even try. When you go to a restaurant in a 5 star hotel, you pay for service and hospitality too, not just the food. It's a not a McDonalds

A lively and delicious Mexican restaurant, a must try. Maya is one of the few Mexican places here in Qatar serving delicious food. The menu includes what we normally know in Mexican cuisine from guacamole to tacos to fajitas. Every dish was a medley of flavors and textures. Special mention to the brisket tacos and beef fajita. And not to forget the delicious chicken quesadilla, with a crispy outside and an incredibly gooey interior full of cheese and flavor. The guacamole was very fresh and was a great way to start the meal.

We love this Mexican place . We have been there couple of times and everytime we have wonderful memories . The food is really good ! Once I went for Saturday brunch it was worth it ! Highly recommended! Few days ago we went there for normal lunch but we had unlimited cocktail package for 2 hours and loved it ! Alcohol in doha can be expensive- so if u can drink more than 3 drinks this package is worth it ! Must try

This is the place with a fun Mexican vibes for your groups of friends. Nice cocktails, good tacos, and don’t forget to end your dinner with the churros. Highly recommended.

The food was amazing. we had the Tuesday tacos. The only thing I will say is that we asked for hot sce and they weren't even hot, but when we got the bill we asked whet was this extra cost, she said we have started to charge for the sauce 🤷‍♀️

Maya Doha is my absolute favourite restaurant in Qatar. The food is fantastic and I should thankful to the Kitchen staff ( checo and Areli ) for the lovely food. Servers are also great and always efficient specially I should appreciate the service of that Wendy, Melissa also an Argentinian waiter Fabian as he gave us fabulous provocation by describing all the dishes and beverages all the time with happy, polite manner. Also I should mention the Sri Lankan bar tender AJ was performing his level best and for sure I will never forget the taste of his cocktails in Maya. At last thankful to Filipe,the grate person who behind this memorable experience , gives the proper guidance to his colleagues and no doubt he is best outlet manager in Doha .Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to have this experience in MAYA Doha.

I went for the first time this evening to take advantage of Taco Tuesday and had a great experience. Our server Nabil was very knowledgeable about the margaritas (I tried both the raspberry and ginger, preferred the ginger one) and gave us great recommendations. I tried both the raspberry and ginger margaritas, preferred the ginger one. For the tacos, I tried 5 different types (chicken, beef, and duck) and they were all really good. I liked the portion sizes too, they allowed me to taste different flavors without feeling too full or still hungry. Will definitely be back!

We went to maya on 1 Nov for dinner in a group of 5. It was okay. But 5 of us had food poisoning the next day. It was terrible. I hope I won’t go through this food poisoning experienced again. And this must be something wrong with the food in Maya. Very disappointing experience.

Nice crunchy tacos, totally different, not busy at all. The mango chilli mocktail was weird but still refreshing. Guacamole was also freshly made. Overall I liked this option and it was just infront of W Doha.

We had an amazing dinner here at the Maya restaurant. Delicious Mexican food! We happened to visit on a Tuesday, so it made sense that we ordered the special Taco Tuesday deals. Both Los favouritos + Los especiales are combinations of taco fillings and flavours is various meat/veg/chicken/fish dishes. All were simply outstanding, they tasted fresh and succulent. To finish with we had churros, they were okay. Served warm and crunchy with cinnamon sugar but unfortunately the dipping sauces of chocolate or caramel were not too nice. The caramel didn’t taste like caramel at all. Nevertheless, the customer service was unbelievable and the food came super quick! Really impressed and we had a wonderful evening.

What can I say? First of all I feel really bad not knowing the name of the South African lady who served us, she is polite beyond expectations. She explains menu very well and gives you suggestions and alternatives based on your preferences. Simply she is Goddess. Food is perfect, the right amount of spices, and ingredients, i was thrilled in every bite. The relaxed ambiance of the place is perfect for the guests. Some photos. Love a good taco tuesday. The drinks never disappoint. The food I would say a 6/10. That was the same rating from a group of 11. But an overall pleasant experience for a good drink and chill session.

Gracy was the best waitress. She was so attentive and made sure to serve our meal and drinks at exactly the right time. The food was fantastic. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very welcoming and cozy. We had a wonderful evening. Would recommend.

Last year I was introduced to Richard Sandoval, through his restaurant, Raya, at the Ritz Carleton, Laguna Niguel. That was epic. Absolutely epic. But this review is about Maya, in Doha. The service matched the food, excellent, attentive, and prompt, with the details just write. My favorite dish was the Carne Asada Taco, seemingly a basic order, but there were layers of flavor and texture to it, a nod to what a taco can and should be, rather than a passive dish. There were three of them (pictured) small, but taken together, a worthwhile endeavor. Overall, I am glad I tried out Maya, literally on the other side of the planet from Raya (and Mexico for that matter), but worth the trip, with a memory that will stay with me when I think about Qatar...

As i visited several Mexican places in doha this this the best place where you can find a quality food its freaking delicious the Brazilian manager he take cared of us a lot thank a lot Mr Philipe and a special thanks for the waiter His name is Fabian he literally explained everything to us and assist us and served us in a amazing wayyy and also the bartender Mr AJ that makes the best marguerites in town😍 …i highly recommend this place and definitely will come again ❤️❤️😍🔥🔥

We came for the ladies night which was great value. Food was delicious. They made all the dishes gluten free which was super. Raghu was our waiter he was brilliant and provided the best service. I would highly recommend.

Maya is the best Mexican restaurant I have tried in Qatar. The Latino atmosphere with the live music, decoration and ambiance added to the fabulous experience we had. Best margaritas and tacos ever! Very average tacos. No hard shell tacos available. The tacos are extremely small, just a bite size. Very poor value of money. Tried Grilled fish, marinated chicken, berf tenderlion and beef tacos. The beef tacos were hopeless.

Excellent service! I am Mexican and I was not expecting to find such delicious Mexican food in Qatar. It was really a nice surprise. I had the “tacos al Pastor” and “tacos de carnitas” and can definitely recommend them. Besides, the place itself is really nice and cozy, and the waitress was also great.

Really nice tex mex hangout with a good vibe, friendly staff and good food. The duck taco was a particular eye opener and strongly recommended. Otherwise the mushroom cevice is delish and the guacamole tastes quite fresh! Top tip : don't take the sofa chair unless you're very fit.. It's a sit up every time you want to get something from your plate 😂 Recommended!

I guess it would never be enough trying to express how beautiful is this place with all the friendly servants ! I love them ! First of all The place is full of energy great music and the Managment there are very friendly and helpful, Mr. Juan is always helpful and doing all the needed job fully respectful and polite. Speaking about the food now i come here regularly for the best Mexican food in Doha, i would always recommend Maya for any one who is looking for a different experience and for who craves a super atmosphere and super delicious food.. We went for taco Tuesday set menu, and it was amazing. I had 6 differrent tacos for dinner and they were all tasty and fulfilling. Price is definitely averaged. 1 taco cost 20 riyal each. Well I had a good time :)

I have no words to describe how awesome this place. Tacos! It is by far the best tacos in Qatar. Friendly staff and delicious drinks there is no doubt in me that it is the best. Ambience of the place is like no other. Hidden doorway from the lobby makes the place so mysterious and when going thru the door it will take you to the next level of food, entertainment and euphoria quality of TACOS! Tried their Business Lunch for QAR 95 with 3 courses, water is included. The place is located in Kempinski Residence and Suites in West Bay. The place is nicely designed and has very good relaxing Mexican vibe. The entrance door is a full wall mirror with Maya wood on it (sleek and classy). We ordered aguachile for appetizer, which is good, lambshank (perfectly cooked and tasty) and salmon (ordinary) for the mains, and churros (lovely) & chilli chocolate cake (nothing special) for dessert. Overall it was a great experience and will definitely go back to try other dishes and their drinks.

Went for the Brunch set menu, with premium drinks menu. The service and management were excellent. Drinks were very good. Would dine here again.

Maya is a fantastic recommend that I would definitely recommend people visit. 6 of us came here for lunch and were not disappointed. To start, as well as a long list of authentic cocktails, they also have a fantastic menu full of authentic Mexican ingredients. Some of us had the Michelada, which is essentially a Bloody Mary with a Corona...great flavour! I had a great beer that had tequila in it, also nice flavour. We then started with their nachos with chicken- really fresh taste. We then had a mixture of their lunches - their lunch rapido is only 95QR and you get 3 courses. They also have an 'El Plato' option with fajitas and churros for dessert... Absolutely delicious and only 135QR. Overall, great service, fantastic food and delicious drinks. Would definitely recommend everyone visit here if they're in the mood for Mexican!

We went for Valentine's Day Date Night.Restaurant is lovely and decorated beautiful.Staff are friendly and professional.All the food were delicious,wanted to order more and more.Ceviche(Vuelve a la vida) was the most I like. yummy! I wish to see more popular Mexican food in the menu.

Food is tasty but portions are tiny for what you pay. Señoritas night promotion included 2 margaritas in the menu but they run out of tequila and the alternative was to prepare it with vodka... really bad choice.... no other alcoholic alternative. Music was very loud and it was hard to hold a conversation

It’s a beautiful place, very nice decor and perfect for a date let’s say but the food itself is far away from authentic Mexican. Maybe my expectations were very high after reading the reviews but then I realized that people most probably haven’t tried proper Mexican. I was not very pleased! As you judge pizzeria by the way they do Margarita in this case is the guacamole in a Mexican restaurant and here it was tasteless. In regards to the service i think they are pushed too hard by the management to check up on guests quite often during meal.

Great ambiance and really good food supported by a great cast of staff. Surprisingly the starters entertained us more than the main course. The only thing detracting me from giving a full score would be loud music or that my table happens to be right under the speaker which made conversation with my company difficult.
