South Indian full meals is my favourite. As the summer has begun officially they’re providing cool buttermilk immediately upon arrival. Restaurant is clean, well ventilated and spacious. I love this branch specially for its location. Do try their mini tiffin which is very tasty and complete. Parking is easily available except for the weekends.

Good place for South India food located old airport. Very nice space, quiet. Service prompt and friendly. Food was excellently prepared; wide vegetarian selection. Personally, I think the best in Doha. This is an authentic south Indian food restaurant. They do serve North Indian dishes but as the name suggests South Indian dishes are more preferable. Ambiance is casual but nice and clean since the renovation. The best deal is the lunch which includes a few Punjabi items to get your fix. Some of my favorite items including the South Indian mean, vada sambar, and dosa. Excellent location, Good service, very rarely the will ve Long wait but its a very popular spot for many Indians to eat. I found the food to be of very good quality. There was no need to wait for cutleries or replenishing of any item. The place is neat and clean. Badusha salad and other sweets were absolutely delicious. We would readily recommend this place. There’s always plenty to choose from, the food is fresh, the atmosphere is hip and the staff are friendly and attentive. I’ve been back many times and never disappointed. Friendly staff and good hospitality, prices actually good for the variety of food. This is by far the best vegetarians Indian food I have ever tried. Wonderful depth of flavors! Will definitely be back.

I would give a 3.5 mainly cos I'd seating. It's way to close by to have food with peace of mind. Food is good and service is quick

Had good experience in this restaurant..try the ghee roast which is really good also sweets are good and the coffee..calm resturant and just have to look for parking,but the same is behind the resturant which I have not seen though went to look for..But hard to find..look for time you visit as wel at times if you go on thy not hospitable to serve anything.It would be niceifthey serve something lighter (Atleast dosa and variety rice).

We have been regular customer of Vasanta Bhavan. But this Old airport branch is very bad. Don’t visit this branch. Other branches are good. Here customer service is not good. Waiters are arrogant and even manager doesn’t have decency to talk properly. Food quality is bad, old stock food. Vada batter stinks. Closing time is 11 pm but they start to close the restaurant from 10.15 pm itself. They don’t take orders for dining in. Avoid this branch. Rest other branches in Doha are good as well as thier staff is much better compared to this rude arrogant staff

This was one of my favourite, lately they have reduced the quantity. The size of idli and vada is becoming smaller and smaller. Idli Vada Set cost 13QAR and 1QAR for packing.

Breakfast in Vasantha bhavan is good but their thali option is bad or say tricky. Deshi thaali which is supposed to be North Indian has a tomato ketchup soup,1 biryani cum pulov, one paneer one veg dry which North Indians also won’t eat and water kheer with 1 cashew in it. The whole meal was a disappointment ☹️

I had the dosa plain everything was good on the platter but I found it too pricey at QR 10 for a plain dosa.Normally dosa all over in Qatar is for 5 they can charge 7 or 8 but 10 is as if you are paying for a nominal lunch

Such a bad service !!!! Staff attitude is like CEOs. Couple of tables waiting for 15-20mins for the waiter to come. While having food, placed additional dosa, suddenly they said it's closed , for breakfast. Once we raised the voice, they bought the food. Horrible attitude. Food is Ok.

Went for Breakfast on a Friday morning and the service was very slow and pathetic. He lacked any kind of motivation to be doing the job he is doing. Wanted to order Iddlies after finishing the masala dosa I ordered but even after 10 minutes the server was no where to be found. He goes inside the kicthen and stays there I guess. Also after asking for the bill there was no reponse finally we went to the counter and paid. ( I am more than happy to go to the counter and pay but someone need to convey the same to customer) The masala dosa is charged at 13 riyals and it wouldn't hurt the management to increase the size of it. It could be named a baby masala dosa as it was not filling at all.

Food has improved than at the beginning but the staffs behaviour is the worst specially at peak hours don't know how to handle people, while taking orders not at all a descent manners nor gesture towards customers and the counter manager doesn't have proper training at all.

Today I ordered vegetable Biryani. Taste was normal, no salt and no spicy and supplied with only ritha. No kurma or no other curry with Biryani. Little expansive for this food.

This was one of my favorite restaurants . But now a days cooking and food quality is not good . I think indian chefs are replaced with Nepali so that the quality is completely compromised . They should really think about reducing their prices also by 1/4 for the food they serve .

The best puffy idly and well cooked Wada which you will not find half cooked inside which I like most. The best part of this shop is, it is not charging for delivery even on Talabat. When I was searching for the sweets where should not having the test of power milk, my search ends here. I found good quality laddu and other sweets too.
