5 reasons why this Gym gets only 1 star: 1. The showers smell like sewers (men showers at least) 2. The gym doesn't enforce members to use towels, which will make you find sweat on most machines. 3. In the summer the AC doesn't work 4. Leakage from the roof: you will see buckets place in below the leakage, not the quality ud expect to see in fitness first. 5. Most complaints are ignored and not dealt with. The only good things about this gym is the friendly reception team, and its affordability. Update 11 months later: showers still smell like sewers, gym members still dont use towels, AC not needed now so cant tell, leakage stopped which is good, compaints still ignored. Why am i still a member? Convenience

If you're thinking of getting a membership at this gym, think twice before you do. It's the worst thing I have done. The AC has been broken since I joined and every time someone makes a complaint, they say "they're getting it fixed soon". It's been more than 2 months now and the lies continue. With Doha hot summers and the COVID situation, it's very toxic and unsafe to be training or having classes in boiling hot rooms with no aeration, breathing in other people's CO2. I have been trying to freeze my membership until it's fixed, or cancel it all together, but the manager seems to care less. I have called 5 times and left messages and sent emails for her to call me back, but she never did. She's also not there often, so it's almost impossible to get hold of her. Worst management ever!

Visited their branch to purchase a membership but decided not to immediately. There were no staff in sight, broken lights and an overall DULL experience. The AC wasn't working, and it was extremely hot. This gym is getting worse every month: some machines have been broken for weeks or even months (but the management keeps saying it will be fixed soon and that it’s not their fault…), AC is bad, no more water dispensers, no more free coffee or free towels (using Covid-19 as an excuse…) but the price of subscription remains the same. Very great place, offers everything you'd expect at a gym and lots more staff and great and trainers are awesome. Other than that there's a very nice and clean toilet, showering room, lockers, sauna, and water dispenser. Plus the place is very contemporary. Would highly recommend to anyone who is able to go there everyday.

The ladies gym needs a revamp with better machines. It's too small. Not all the machines work, ladies changing rooms, need to have cubicles to get changed, not a little cupboard with no AC or ventilation. I have also been kicked off some equipment before when personal training sessions are going on. Ladies weight room is also to small and not enough room to work out.

Worst ladies trainers , no one helping or talking, very poor communication and bad customer service.. very disappointed and I don’t recommend to anyone to have a lady personal trainer ..

Good spacious and great staff location is in the heart of west bay colse to many people offices and lockers and floors always clean but the bathroom are not maintained well need replacement and adding auto refresher showers dont have shelves and hangers i give it 4 out if 5 stars

I could see a noticeable change in Ms. Antonette Artiaga's attitude/ behavior (arrogance) soon after I signed up for the membership. You kind of become invisible to her once you are already a member. Seems her only goal was to sale membership and she has no clue or doesn't care about customer service. Other then above - No towels!! (stop making excuses about COVID) - Tissue dispensers are annoyingly slow - Wifi does not work 8 out of 10 times. - No actions on complaints.

Equipment not getting repaired, lockers all broken nowhere to keep your belongings. AC's not working its like training in a sauna in the summer time. Seems like the gym is going downhill and fast. I mean I can take in all other shortcomings this gym has but man that so called workout music sucks big time. It is very unpleasant to ears and I’m sure the users will rather use their own earphones with no background music or noise whatever. The place has good vibes, there is all that you need to have a perfect workout either for cardio or for bodybuilding. classes are available as well without extra fees. the place provides towels & water, coffee, locker, shower, and sauna without any extra charge. you will get a 2 free session with a personal trainer when you make the membership. the sales girl (Rose) provided me with all the info needed and made me feel welcome and my personal trainer ( Jeva) was very friendly and helpful. thanks for the good service

The gym has detoriated beyond belief. Equipments break down in numbers and it take months before they get fixed. The customer service is horrifying. Because so many of the equipments are down, I requested to freeze my membership at no cost. Joy and Antoinette both said they will have the manager call me. The manager never called, weeks passed. I tried to call and they kept refusing to put me through to the manager - making up excuses of why she is not available. Eventually they started to ignore my calls or blocked my number. I called the headqauters in UAE and raised a complaint. Despite multiple follow ups they keep telling me they have to follow up with the team in Qatar, the same team I complained about. At this point it seems like even the headquaters in UAE doesn't care about the plummeting standards of the Doha city center branch. Needless to say I will not be renewing my membership. I hope the City Center Mall management somehow replace Fitness first with a better gym because it is a good and convinenient location for a gym. Avoid this gym like the plague, it's bad and once you've paid you will not get your money back.

with 1 exception or 2 the only gym i ve been where no one is saying hi or bye. 1 lady super nice her name is Rose is always polite with everyone and helpful. Rest of employee look unhappy to be here to the point not to answer a hi or bye. a basic. the gym is not bad with lot of space and material but is leaking everywhere and is way outdated. wifi NEVER work is it even possible in Qatar ? Tv always half working or turned on as well . hard to believe a fitness first in QATAR where all gym are super luxury and welcoming is such a low quality. the location attracted me and my friend because in the city center and we fall for it with a registration of a year which was clearly a mistake if this gym will not upgrade itself. it feels kind of abandoned

I have a complaint since oct 1st, 2021 and they told me their team will call me asap. Its the 5th and I still didnt get clear answer on that matter. I called the branch, i emailed the customer service, chatted on fb customer service, even talked to the staff in branch but to date still no proper update to me.

Paid a 6 months membership 3 months ago. No A/C, machines broken all the time, washrooms dirty with bad smell. I have reported so many times and front desk workers acknowledge the issues but they say they can’t do anything, and asked me to come when the manager is around. But the manager is never there so I’ve been asking to either fix all the issues and deliver a service as promise or to refund my membership and I can go somewhere else. This place is not even close to be a place for wellness, working out without A/C could bring serious challenges for any member. Please fix all your damage equipment and A/C or code for good!

I havent tried the classes here, but we rented the studio for our dance class. The place was clean. And studio was well equipped with mirrors and can fit up to 30 pax. There is also female gym only near the restroom.

They have complete gym equipments and the Filipino receptionists are very nice and helpful. They also have separate ladies only place and a sauna (but at the moment it's not yet allowed to use due to the current situation). I love my sauna sessions here. Best decision I have made so far as my health is concerned. They have a lot of different classes to join in. I have only tried the yoga class. The location is convenient for me since it's near my workplace and it is inside a mall so if you decide to do a grocery after you can just go to Carrefour. The facility is clean. The attendants are friendly. It has been a week already since I started my sauna sessions there and I intend to keep my promise to myself to keep it up.
