Very very very bad food chattichore. No Tasty

Tea is really good which is made with fresh milk (Samovar Tea). Less seating arrangements. Authentic Kerala food available here, but price is little bit more compared to other small restaurants in Doha.

Worst pothichoru except beef fry. If we have boat, we can ride inside the payasam. Much water. Really pathetic food i ate today😡

This was my first dine-in visit to this place. My this review is only going to be on the ambience and not the food. I have to say I love the interior of this place. I’m not a Malayali, but this place does give you an insight of Kerala in a good way. Which is why a place like this should also take care of the background music if at all they are going to play it. Music has a huge impact on a person’s mood. Either play good music that creates a good vibe or don’t play anything at all that kills the vibe and expectations that the place sets. For me I wouldn’t call this place a regular restaurant when they have some valuable things on display like the old Indian currencies and postals and etc. So you see, when you’re looking around in awe, and then some sad Hindi songs from the 90s make you feel depressed, you don’t really want to enjoy the surrounding anymore. However, when addressed this to the staff, he did change it but while billing it was back to the similar old tracks 🥴 I cannot really write a review at this point about the food because when we went there, only chicken curry, paratha & dosas were available. Staffs were very courteous and well behaved.

It was very crowded when we were passing around so we just wanted to have a cup of tea with some snacks , Tea was fantastic 👍

Variety of food available. You can try "chatti chor", it include 5 or 6 curry or side dishes and aslo chor (Motta rice). You can choose chicken or fish fry. The atmosphere is good. Some dinning seat are available

Very bad ............ yesterday night went there for dinner and ordered beef fry and keala porotta. They served the food which is very cold ( I mean very cold as ice cream may be ). The gravy along with parotta were both cold. Are they serving iced food to the customer? I wonder how people eat it. If there is an option for negative rating, I will do -10

Yesterday I picked up a parcel of fish chatti choru from the branch of Estan Oasis. When I got home and opened it, there was no fish in it. And when I called them, they behaved badly.. This happened to me 3 times. Never ever recommended...

Really good experience with their foods. Kerala Traditional Samovar Tea really good feel the same nostalgia of kerala teashop. Also beef & Perotta combination really Yummy. All other dishes are also really good. Mostly I used to go there.

Today I went hotel. One keralian staff misbehaving to me. I ordered Parotta first. He was served good. Running order I ordered other Parotta. But he given old one. I asked him. He answered rude. But one napali service boy and manager were very polite and answering proper way. Why like that misbehaving staff they keeping in restaurant. They loose them business. Please take care. I like food past one year monthly twise in your restaurant. Respect customer request and do proper food. Thanks

Staying true to its name, Chaya Kada is your Keraleean inspired restaurant vibing with posters, artwork, memorabilia from South Indian 80s and 90s filmography. Cozy interiors and typical Keraleean tea shop seating of table and benches that are named after the many districts of Kerala. Menu has your typical appam, porotta, iddiyappam and ghee rice with spicy chicken, beef and seafood curries. The other special items I would recommend are their Beef or chicken pothi, their version of Pothi chorru (takeaway meals, typically boiled red rice) and Chattin chorru (meals in a clay pot, red rice, assorted thoran, sambals, curries and a papad). I still order their takeaway Samovar chai by litre and occasionally enjoy their small 2 rial sip cups in the evenings. A call ahead to their landline will help you pre-order their delicious evening snacks that vary each day in a week. Both savoury and sweet snacks are available at nominal pricing. For all your deep diving into nostalgia from Kerala, order the afore mentioned dishes. Generally all their curries would be labeled as spicy. But then again, it's sometimes good to live a little. Is it one of the best? No, but they do a good job of dishing out consistently good tasting plates of their carefully curated short menu. Great services whenever we dined in. Takeouts were always placed by order-thru-telephone and picked up in 20 min.

Always a good place for evening snacks and a cup of samavar tea. Had breakfast also from there a lot of times. Was nice. Good Kerala porota and curries. Pleasant

Tea is good. I had paripuvada along with lemon tea. Parippuvada (snack) was so so, not that tasty.

This was the first time I've tried this restaurant. Firstly, the menu card was not updated. Prices were extremely volatile from 1 Tea starting at Qatar real 15 to 1 main dish of a chicken rated at 55 Riyals, which is absolutely insane. I ordered for Chicken With Paratha, dirstly it was served cold and that too I only found veggies inside paratha. Tea was surprisingly good which is recommended. I guess the restaurant needs to be well.managed or else it can't only survive on its reputation. Overall not recommended for Food, Tea is good.

4 reason to avoid this Hotel. 1. Hygine - 4 time i had food from here, apart from some nostalgic atmosphere, hygine is 0%. Even those plates are smelly. Tables are sticky. Undmer table every time food wastes will be there. 2. The service team, need to litgerally beg them to get the items. Especially those kerala staffs. 3. The worst food, they are adding some colors to food & it wont go after 5 min of hadwash. 4 time i had food from this hotel, i felt the next day it could be good. Never. 4. Price - first, its very small space with 4 table, i can have a chicken biriyani from century hotel (100 m away from this ) 10QAR, that too very big seating facilities, here they are charging 12 QAR. Same propotional diffrence is there for all items with smaller quantities.

Very bad...... Chemmeen chattichor... One of the worst item I ever had...uncleaned prawns and taste like something else...beef fry is not even served hot and it's tastes very bad also bad service.....full waste of money...
