Very crowded in peak hours. Cleaning service isn't as freuquent as need be. Basic equipment is available, but limited so chances are you'll wait a few minutes to use a treadmill for example. Trainers aren't very attentive, through my first days I noticed some people engaged in their workout with a poor form but the trainers never commented or corrected them. I wouldn't recommend personal training there, but it's quite affordable so that might be a good reason for it.

I worked in Qatar for 8 years and tried many gym already, but City Gym is the only gym that provides the excellent service, from customer care, trainers, and even the hygiene and cleanliness are best.

The 5 stars reviews are fake! Check their other reviews, all of them gave 5 stars to places in other countries which is very suspicious. I don't think all those people have a hobby of traveling the world! Oh and some of them gave 5 stars to all other City Gym locations across Qatar, that just proves they got paid!

It's just a business, they advertise as very friendly place. Not true, they'll only be "friendly" when you take personal training. They've got decent equipments. And yeah I just went through the reviews, it's all fake, there is no facility for ladies here, yet there are their reviews. Most of them are their staff.

The gym has two floors, the upper floor is for cardio, Swedish exercises, legs, strength games, and boxing, and the ground floor is for dumbbells and equipment for the rest of the upper body. The bathrooms are clean and have showers, and there are changing rooms and lockers with keys for your personal belongings for free. Parking in front of the gym is enough for approximately 20 cars.

There's a number of reasons why I wouldn't recommend this gym: 1. Hygiene. No soap or tissues in the toilet. 2. Unfriendly and money-motivated PTs 3. No water 4. If you are interested in bodybuilding or powerlifting, the facilities are very, very limited.

It’s always loud here, but it’s also a great place to meet up and train with other people. The pool is colder than other gyms and not open for lap swimming as often as I would like because of kids swim classes, but that is a valid reason as kids need to learn to swim. I come here when I am meeting up with friends who have kids or if I have a large group of people who want to all work out together. I just get a day pass, as this isn’t my scene for a peaceful high energy gym, but I know the classes here are at a good price and I may look into one or two of them.
