That's the best doctor I met to save my dog's life. When I walk into the hospital my dog (Fluke) was almost dead due to an infection to her brain. Fluke was seriously sick at the time and she was not able to stand up or walk. She was on the edge of death and life. No one thought that she’s gonna survive including me. Fortunately I walked to the rite place and met the rite doctor (Dr. Monica). All the staff and the doctors are very kind and helpful. Now Fluke is completely recovered after two months of treatments and 10 days in the hospital. I strongly suggest anyone to take your loved ones with no fear. Special thank for Dr. Monica

Worst place every. All they interested is in overcharging. They play on the emotional of pet owners who turn to them for assistance, the old FUD method - fear, uncertainty and death. They kept our cat for three day although they confirmed the very first day that the cat had negative results for any virus. Cat was not fed and calls not returned. When we asked to take the cat, they walked away. Some hospitality. Arrogant and ignorant I must say. Good way to lose repeat customers. I recommend not to go there. After we picked up our cat, we fed him in the car and he gobble up the food. They also informed my wife they'd cleanup the cat -give a bath. Didn't happen. Don't know what they were waiting for. I guess they didn't expect us to take the cat away. The three day stay was not warranted, however since it was an emergency, they played on the emotions of my wife who agreed to have them keep our cat. I am sure had we agreed to another 3 or 4 days of extra stay, they would have gladly kept the cat. A rip off so pet owner, beware. The name should be Crooked Vets as opposed to Canadian Vets.

Good experience. My pet was cared for and beyond after a difficult surgery. If your budget is super tight, don't come here. .Later update: my cat died of congestive heart failure that was not diagnosed for more than 3 months because the attending physician was useless in her job. We complain about respiratory distress 3 months before the congestive heart failure was too severe to be kept under control. My cat died suffocated in his own fluid due to the lung being overloaded with fluid. A simple x-ray shouldve been a good start 3 months before . But no , some other insignificant detail was more important. As per prices....highway robbery. Did you get what you pay for? Nope. Only suffering . Stay away from this so called vet practice

Worst Vet in Doha don’t go there and I’m a very old customer to this vet, recently they’ve changed staff and the recent staff is really arrogant and disrespectful.. they won’t offer to help you I’ve called once for them to send someone to help me carry the pets and the grumpy blond lady from reception picked up and when I told her send someone she said “this is a vet hospital” what a way to talk to customers she really feels entitled!! They are very pricey with a ZERO respect from staff to doctors non of them respect their customers at all, and all they care for is your money nothing else. Yea and the tests they will rain you with unnecessary tests because you are fool and don’t know what they are talking about but they make it seems very important for the pet so that you feel concerned and agree to whatever they are asking for. This is unprofessional and really really bad vet and I’ve switched to another vet I’m very very happy. I will never let this horrible vet take my money again with their bad service and their ignorant staff. 👌🏻

took my cat there yesterday to get a haircut and he came back the same when i called and asked why they didn't groom him they said he needed to be sedated (which i already warned them about before i took him in) they didn't even call to inform me that the cat didn't get groomed even though i've already paid. then when i took him back today to actually get the haircut he came home with a huge rash on his arm so naturally i got angry because my cat came back injured and i called after sending a picture of the rash the staff disregarded my concerns. i'm never going back and i don't recommend for anyone to trust this place with their pets

Overpriced. I've never been to a vet that started listing the possible treatments and costs before she even took an interest in looking at the cat. 850 riyal for an absess. 300 riyals for antibiotics you can get in UK for 8 pounds. The vet gave me a bad atitude because I complained about the cost. I should have just walked out. Then, right at the end she said the treatment might not work. You can guarantee I won't be returning to this vet.

Incredible.... My wife and myself are pet lovers. Our female spitz had liver inflammation and we had to leave her 5 days in the clinic... beyond the astronomical cost, we got our dog back with all her front teeth broken. The answer from the vet was " it can happen"... Actually we opened a legal case against this clinic I would like everybody whose pet got an issue with this vet to open a case in the police station. 1st day of Eid my kitten was getting sick. Took her to their clinic which i was excepting to find more professionals. Is everything about the money, basically. But even when you want to pay as much as they ask, they are still incompetent enough to put a wrong diagnosis. I took my kitten to another clinic, Dragon animal care center, where doctors are really showing a lot of care and love for animals. Canadian hospital sent my kitten home with an inflation on her throat due to the tube they used during the surgery. Whenever i was telling them that she is having difficulty in breathing their reply was that they can't hear anything. I got home and my kitten was coughing and breathing hard. Thanks to Dragon animal care center she is recovering well. Oh, and guess what they took 7000 Qr for a surgery which did not required. Kitten was just intoxicated with polish from a toy. Overpriced clinic with unqualified doctors. And unqualified doctors attracts unqualified staff... Why would the guy from the reception be interested in what the customers are doing for leaving...?! However thanks to some nurses which were really kind and one doctor which was making time to call and update me about my kitten's well-being. DR Leticia I assumed admitted her to the clinic... extremely unhelpful... she should really think to change her career or to start her studies again and read more about compassion and love for animals and not only love for money.

I see a lot of FAKE reviews here, which is very sad. Dr. Khaled and his team have been nothing short of amazing thus far. Lola's journey to Doha began in Dec 2022, and once she finally made it here the level of care and professionalism from CVH was amazing. The cost of vet care is expensive in every country, so don't expect inexpensive care. If you want good care for your loved one and you aren't going to whine more that your pet, visit CVH. You won't regret it.

VERY EXPENSIVE. By very expensive I mean really VERY EXPENSIVE. A simple cure starts at 1500 riyals. they do not give discounts on the treatment of stray cats for emergencies. For example, they demanded 2000 riyals for basic treatment of a stray cat. It is unclear how the figures were determined. In my opinion, the government should definitely not deal with this issue.

Two doctors from the same vet managed to both drastically misdiagnosed my cat. I was made to pay 4k for her to be bedridden on painkillers for 4 days until she was released. The next day when the effects of the painkillers wore off, lo and behold, the underlying illness came back! Took her to a different vet where she was correctly diagnosed and treated, for a fraction of that price as well.

When you need emergency care, these guys are brilliant. Always there when other vets are closed! You can't put a value on that. Saved my French bulldog from a potential fatal allergic reaction today.

We brought our Maxi boy here in the middle of the night emergency, and he was attacked by a larger dog. For 10 days, he received the best care we could have ever wanted for him. There were hectic days at times that they were overwhelmed with other customers and patients, but it was all worth it in the end. Dr. Romano and the staff there were amazing. His jaw had an open fracture on one side, and Dr Romano an amazing performed surgery. The staff was caring and receptive to our requests when visiting Max daily. This establishment is very busy at times, and they know what they are doing, so please be patient with them, it is worth it in the end.

Canadian Veterinary Hospital in Qatar has been the vets from my 2 dogs for 6 years, they always were very profesional, they manage the relocation of them from Doha to Dubai in a very personal and sentimental way. They toke care of my dogs with love and care. Amazing Job!!! Thank you for taking such good care of my dogs!

Has to be the worst veterinary clinic I’ve ever experienced. I admitted my kitten in this clinic because she broke her leg. We took her to this clinic having high expectations but to our surprise the staffs were absolutely careless. Since doctor was out of country her surgery was supposed to be happening on Sunday and until then they would give her painkillers. But they did not give any painkillers and also didn’t give her food for 2 days.

Horrible place, they will try to milk every penny for their overpriced services. Trying at every corner to reach into your pocket. Made our kitten sick as well, probably due to incompetent doctors. Never go here. Look elsewhere if you value your pet, your time, and your money.

The reception and assistants were very helpful, but overall we feel that they recommended tests that were redundant. The doctor was available, we saw him standing outside but didn’t meet us until the very end. Kinda agree with the other reviews, feels like you have to shell out a-lot of money before they talk to you. I think it’s an okay clinic but definitely over priced. Personally wouldn’t recommend unless necessary.

I have only ever received excellent quality service from this vet. I came here with a foster kitten and the vet figured out all the correct diagnosis and figured out the kittens history very accurately (I later knew this from talking to the kitten's original vet). They are very professional, caring and understanding. It is also very convenient as the vet is open 24/7 which assists greatly in times of emergencies. They have great merchandise for your pets as well and very stylish cat tunnels, cat beds and so forth. They are also great with birds such as parrots and assisted me with a parrot before as well.

They try to get you to pay so much for unnecessary treatments. Do not go to them. They are beyond overpriced and couldn't care less about the dogs health. There are so many better places. They tried to charge me 3000 riyals for a bunch of treatments, which another vet center did for 200 and my dog is now feeling so much better and is in great condition. They try to make you pay in advance so that if anything happens because of their incompetence, they still have the money and make up an excuse to not give it back to you. If you can't pay in advance and your pet is in dire need of care, they won't tend to them. They don't care. It's all about money for them and nothing else. Stay away from these overpriced negligent thieves.

Dr Khaled was very supportive and helpful in getting the import permit for my dog to travel from India to Qatar. We had our challenges in the permit process but his continuous efforts got us the permit! I am really thankful and grateful 🙏

I don’t know who is writing good reviews. This clinic is a pure robbery. We had to take pup there cz other clinics were overbooked and this one only had space (no surprise ppl r not willing to take pets there). Pup stayed there one day, only test was done and nothing much - over 2k ryals. Obviously we took the pup to another vet.

Excellent door to door experience with Dr. Khaled and the CVH team. Extremely knowledgeable, responsive and supportive throughout our relocation from Mumbai to Doha. Constant communication was held with the export team for a smooth move. Lola was manifested cargo and the team took exceptional care of her until arrival to our home. Thanks to the team. I've taken my pet rabbits to a few vets in doha and only Canadian vet has a rabbit-savvy vet (i believe it's only 1 person), she knows what she's doing unlike the other vets. Unfortunately after the first successful appointment. I've failed to get a response from this place. I've called once to book a follow-up for my rabbit and was told someone will call me back yet nobody called. Recently, I've called again and same thing, reception told me they'll call me back but they failed to do so.

The only veterinary which is open on Fridays and have a good emergency service. But it's very over priced. And if you are not careful they do the same tests again and again, charge 700-800 Qr each time.

Absolutely amazed at the level of expertise, these guys made sure that my two cocker spaniels arrived in Qatar hassle free. They ensured every detail was taken care of. A superior service that had the welfare and safety of our loved dogs in mind. Definitely recommend the Canadian vet hospital.

Since I a came to Doha I have been using the CVH Canadian Veterinary Hospital. They have a good facility and a good staff. They are a little bit pricey. For example I have a Collie and his hair cut is 300 rial. But if you want to import or export your pet they are of great assistance. I had no issues bringing my dog into country.

Very good services. A bit expensive compared to the other vets in the country but you wouldn't mind the cost if you are sure that your pets are well taken care of. Best of all they are open on Fridays too.

After moving to Qatar from Dubai we used Canadian Veterinary Hospital to manage the relocation of our cat. We had some challenges with the paperwork and procedures but were supported fully and professionally at all times. The team we worked with were always available (even late at night) and managed to keep us calm and reassured through the very stressful experience. They worked closing with the relocation agent in Dubai and ensured everything progressed despite a number of unforeseen situations that arose. Would definitely use them again if the need arose. Canadian Vets have been my vets for the past Four years. I have used them twice for the relocation of my two dogs. I can not recommend them enough. Dr Khaled was amazing on both occasions with all the regulations and obtaining the permits both out of the country and re-entry. I also need to mention Anna who is absolutely lovey and caring. Hakim who was with my pets at the airport did not hesitate to answer every message I sent and he updated me every step of the way and included photos. I can not recommend this team enough or even Thank them enough, I will not hesitate to use them again and will continue using them for the care of my two girls.

An incredibly expensive clinic, and I took a pregnant cat with them that did not live with them. They told me to return it to you, and after I returned it, the cat came with a virus and the cats that I had at home returned, and of course I do not think about returning to this clinic again.
