Zero ⭐️ from me for Dr Shiby. Usually I come to British IDC in Al Waab to visit Dr Anu Rengit, and I’ve already previously submitted a review about her service as she is amazing. This time, my experience was completely different. I had a terrible toothache under my ceramic crown and for two days my work schedule wasn’t matching with Dr Anu, so yesterday I decided to book appointment with whoever was available in the morning. Reception informed me that Dr Shiby Thomas had a cancellation for 12:45. I’ve checked the reviews about Dr Shiby and they were all saying she is gentle with children and scared adults. I was none of the categories, but I was desperate as my tooth was throbbing horribly so I went. I came at 12:40 and waited until 13:10 when a women approached me and asked about my name and took me to the patient room. It was Dr Shiby who never introduced herself, so I didn’t even know if it’s a doctor or nurse. She never apologized as well for me waiting for 25min, and when I sat she inquired why I’m there. When I sat on the chair, she was very serious and unwelcoming, very robotic even strict in a way. I ignored and didn’t comment as I was in pain. I’ve explained her that I have filling for 5 years, nothing is visible on the tooth from outside, however I feel pain which was only when I bite and now is constant for 2 days even with painkillers. You don’t have to be a dentist to realize that it’s most probably tooth infection, but anyways. She did some knocking on my teeth to confirm which tooth is infected and biting the cotton again to confirm, examined surrounding teeth and all of these things that I did home previously. She asked if it hurts when I drink or eat hot/cold, I repeated again that it hurts when I bite and that I am certain on which tooth it is. She took a radiograph and told me she doesn’t see anything and that it could be that I bite something and it’s trauma, which I told her it is not, than she said it could be infection, some problem from past filling. Basically everything I already knew myself. So she confirmed which tooth it is, and that probably is infected under filling - which you don’t need to be dentist to realize and than that’s where she said she’ll send me for 3D scan to Dr Mohammed. She said she’ll show me estimate cost and I’ve seen at the screen 9895 QR which is 2646€. She added: “Does it hurt you, do you want anesthesia?” even I told her I’m in pain the entire time. I’m not sure that she was listening. She stated I’ll schedule you with Dr Mohammed. Dr Shiby handed me 9895QR estimate, where she included Core and Titanium post for 1200QR and Ceramic Crown 4000QR, without even offering me alternatives, which I’m aware of and without discussing my insurance plan as almost 10000QR bill is not naive, or for Dr Shiby it is! :) I have felt like a proper donkey for money extracting, I don’t even know how to describe the feeling... First of all: zero professionalism and people skills, zero empathy and ultimately zero business awareness… I felt she was there to take money from me, and treated me literally like I’m dumb and I’ve never went to a dentist let alone any doctor at all. I just left the place and didn’t return to Dr Mohamed, which Dr Shiby scheduled for me. This is definitely way to loose patients. Even I love Dr Anu, this experience made me most probably not come back here again.

Review from 06/2022 Two years later, and we still love Dr. Grant and Dexter. Thank you for your honest service and genuine desire for your clients to have a healthy smile! Review for 2020 The service here is on another level and they also have late evening appointments! My husband went first (he doesn’t like going to the dentist as much as I do) and he actually used the word “love.” I think it is because he finally trusts his dentists (Dr. Rahai and Dr Grant) He is going back to do a crown molding and he’s not even scared! I went today because I’m an outlier and like going to the dentist. Had a great view of the city while Dr. Sushil Thomas and Nurse Maria did xrays, inspected my teeth and cleaned them. They worked so well as a team and made me feel very comfortable. The facility was clean, state of the art and the chair was actually comfortable too. I’m recommending everyone here! PS. I appreciate the attentiveness of the office boy and receptionists. Even when you call to make an appointment they are very helpful. Plus, you actually understand them on the phone! Oh and they’ll message you on WhatsApp with directions to the location.

Cleaning with Dr SHIBY THOMAS amazing job. I have very sensitive teeth as well as I am very scared of all doctors. Dr. TOMAS she was so gentle and patient with me. I did not feel any pain at all. Amazing job done. Very happy and definitely will come back and recommend her and the clinic to all!!!! Place also is super new and welcoming. Great experience!

Dr. Sandra Al-Khatib was absolutely amazing! I came in with very high anxiety regarding the treatment plan that would be required for my teeth. Dr. Sandra was extremely thorough and thoughtful about my situation. I felt instantly at ease and trusted her as she showed sensitivity to my worries. As for the treatment, She was fantastic at keeping me informed each step of the way. Additionally, she took great pride in her work and was an expert at her craft! I feel very fortunate to have her as my dentist. 100% satisfaction and trust!

The only dental clinic that received my toddler without prior appointment on emergency basis, after learning there is no dentist on duty in any of the emergency hospitals public or private. We had a very good experience with Dr Nafeh, he is kind and gentle with kids. The clinic also didn't charge us for a quick follow up appointment

British International Dental Center is one of the very few centers that i feel confident visiting and know that they will do the right things. Dr. Sandra is an excellent doctor and works at the best interest of her patients. She takes time to explain everything to me. When i first visited, she did a complete checkup on my teeth, put a plan and we started executing it one step at a time. I highly recommend the center as well as Dr. Sandra.

I am in Qatar visiting my husband who's working here. I noticed a crack in my crown so we went to British International Dental Centre in Al Waab Branch. The first impression I had was good. It was nice to see smiling faces at the front desk. They were very accommodating and the waiting time wasn't long either. I was greeted by Dr. Shilby Thomas with a smile even with her mask on. She made sure I was going to feel comfortable. She went ahead and took care of my crown, took off the crack crown and put on the temporary replacement. The procedure wasn't scary at all! Thank God! I came back after 10 days and got my crown. I got my cleaning done too! That's the best cleaning experience I've had!! Like seriously!Dr. Shilby is a rockstar and one of the best if not the best Dentist I've had in my life. She's super nice, very accommodating, her bedside manner is awesome too! Having done my research on finding a good dental clinic in Doha, and going through many reviews both online and through personal contacts, I chose British International Dental center and I couldn’t have made a better decision. I had a fantastic experience. The set up is great and they are very well equipped. I had an appointment with Dr. Zareena, she was very patient, explained everything very well and did a great job (no pain at all). One of the best dentist I’ve visited and definitely an excellent Dental center. Highly recommended!

Walked in 1st time client... the view was just to die for and i got a nice black cap as a welcome gift. 😊If you have kids this is the place to go as they have toys (in the women waiting area) even saw some kids getting balloons so am definitely bringing my kids over next time. The Dr i saw was very professional and i will not hesitate to go back. Added bonus: Whilst waiting for my insurance to get approved Mr Dhanoop at reception let me use their message chair whilst i waited ... Definitely one of the best dental clinic in Doha. The service is outstanding from the moment you set up an appointment until you are done. Very clean and fresh feeling as you enter the office. Covid19 protocol is very well in placed. The dentist is very engaging throughout your dental session, very professional and you feel safe and comfortable. Full of advice and good tips how to take care of your teeth at the end of the session. Staff are quite friendly. Location can be a hassle during weekdays but should not be a problem in the weekends.

One of my filling broke off, and I went to get a crown, and to my delighted surprise Dr. Raiha Rashid provided me with two other alternatives. She explained each and it's limitations. I chose the composite filling - large three surfaces. I'm extremely happy with the outcome, and in the process I saved tons of money. I've been going to BIDC for years and am always impressed with the doctors professionalism and the service provided by all the staff.

Best dentist I've ever been to, was first at Dr. Graham who sadly isn't working there anymore but was very warmly received with Dr. Julia instead and she was very gentle, patient and explained everything she did, step by step. I only went for a checkup but got proper info on what is happening with my teeth. It was a lovely visit, and I highly recommend Dr. Julia! They're also great with kids, we bring both of our kids and they are super kind and gentle with them😊

The British dental centre is one place where you will feel welcome right from the reception, the ladies and gents at the reception are welcoming and listen to you led by one Ms zabeen, Dr. Grant and his team are exceptional (I remember dexter)really friendly yet professional and they make you feel comfortable as you go through the procedure and explain to you through every step of the way what they are doing and what to expect. It’s my third time receiving treatment from this facility and I would highly recommend, thank you British dental centre, am a satisfied client.

I had to get a root canal for the first time. I was very nervous and Dr. Sandra explained the whole procedure thoroughly and made it comfortable. She went over and beyond! You can tell she's very passionate, perfectionist, quick on her feet to find a solutions. I was leaving the country in a few days and my situation normally would need another appointment a few days but she was able to last minute squeeze me in within the same day, even how booked her schedule was, to finish up since she was aware I had to leave. When I left the country, she followed up closely and she's very quick to respond all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Sandra! Generally the service at this dentist is great! The place is very clean, staff are super friendly and helpful, they are very active on WhatsApp.

British Dental West Bay office is in a very convenient and accessible location for us. They also have a great view of the Corniche as an added bonus. The waiting rooms and offices are nice. The staff are polite and professional. Parking is also easily accessible. Dr. Nafeh, their pediatric dentist has been taking care of both our kids for years and we’re super happy with his care. The only downside is the difficulty of getting an appointment since they’re always fully booked, but I guess that’s to be expected.

Service at the British International Dental Center at West Bay was excellent during my visit. Dr. Grant himself is very professional and accommodating, but the costumer service was even more exceptional. Receptionists Dhanoop and Alex were not only courteous, but the paragon of resourcefulness. They were extremely cooperative and available to help, both consistently updating and following up about my appointments and understanding of my urgency. I can assure that service here is highly praiseworthy.
