    I had an appointment at Advocate Medical Center on September 25th, 2019. A nurse Willis saw me, almost immediately during that appointment she became accusatory and hostile regarding me not taking my medication properly. She then indicated that I might not receive my pain medication and other medications. She went on to state my particular issues regarding cancelling previous appointments was irrelevant. And if protocols were not followed the decision to fill particular pain medications was hers. She later added that she would consult with my Doctor about the medications. However, this extremely hostile appointment left me anxious and confused regarding how a medical center and their employees should treat patients. I am a veteran of the Marine Corp and a retired Manager of the Social Security Administration, if I or an employee I supervised were to ever treat a member of the public as I was treated, there would be adverse consequences.

    My review is specific the the urgent care option here: I had an appointment for after video visit testing for Strep and Covid tests. 1st: I show up at 15 minutes early as requested and the woman at the desk seemed to have no idea you could HAVE an appointment. Ok, she says I'm checked in. 2nd: half an hour after my supposed appointment (and watching 3 people who came in well after me get seen), I go check to see how much longer. APPARENTLY I had "already been seen" according to a different woman at the desk. 3rd: when I was finallu taken back, the nurse helping me (though very friendly), didn't know what tests I was there for. If I wasn't familiar with what a strep vs covid test were, I'd have never known to ask for a second sample to be taken. Overall, a very bad experience, mostly due to the workers at the front desk who were more interested in cussing about a "problem" patient, loudly enough for the entire waiting area to hear than in helping the patients in their waiting area.

    I don't understand all the bad reviews. I've been bringing my Mom here for many years and started going myself just last year. I find the staff very pleasant. We're seen in a timely matter for all our appointments but I tend to make appointments early in the day rather than later, when they may get backed up. Sometimes, the labs can take long if doctor sends us there after an appointment and lots of patients are waiting. I've even been serviced by urgent care with no long wait. However, I may be changing to a different Advocate location next year, but that's because I'm not very happy with my PCP.

    I have yet to have a bad experience here. I recently started going here and everyone was pleasant and helpful. My wait time was not long and I was able to get labs and X-rays all done in the same building easily. Dr. Sreerma was very kind and understanding and really made me feel cared for. I had to schedule a follow up and Tanisha the receptionist was amazing and very kind and helpful and polite. Definitely made my day.

    OMG, THIS WAS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE BEEN TO TWICE ALREADY FOR 2 DIFFERENT REASONS FOR MYSELF AND MY FRIEND WHO HAD TO SEE A DOCTOR THAT SHE WAITING 4 MONTHS FOR HER APPOINTMENT TO GET IN BECAUSE PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF AND HER HAVE INSURANCE FROM OUR LOVING GOVERNMENT SO WE END UP BEING TREATED LIKE THE ONE WHO HAS THE INSURANCE THAT THE DOCTOR OFFICE MOST LIKELY WILL BE WAITING TO GET PAID FOR OUR VISIT TO SLOW FOR THE EMPLOYEES SO WE GET PUT IN THE BACK OF THE LINE AND THE RICH PEOPLE, BIG TIME INSURANCE COMPANIES ETC ARE GETTING A APPOINTMENT IN A FEW DAYS OR A WEEK WHICH I AM VERY DISGUSTED AT THIS ACTION FROM ALL COMPANIES THAT DO THAT TO ME SEEING IM DISABLED WITH MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES AND NECK PROBLEMS AND BACK PAIN AND LUNG PROBLEMS BUT THEY HAVE NO CARE FOR THE STORIES UNLESS YOU GOT THE MONEY. WE WAITING FROM 4PM, UNTIL 6PM SHE WAS STILL NOT CALLED IN SHE ASKED HOW LONG, 2 PEOPLE STILL AHEAD OF HER WE LEFT UNBELIEVABLE. I HAD A DOCTOR GIVE ME THE WRONG DIAGNOSIS FOR THE BUMBS ON MY FACE, HE SAID I HAD BLACK HEADS AND I ACTUALLY HAD SEVER CYSTIC ACNE. I DON'T RECOMMEND YOU COME HERE.

    Terrible client care by the receptionist staff at the front desk to the Urgent Care clinic. The guy was very helpful, but the woman with her bad attitude was horrible to the customers trying to see a physician. You guys are part of a big hospital chain and should approach your clients professionally because you’re representing Advocate. Please clean this up. It’s embarrassing and disgustingly unprofessional conduct.btw, I am familiar with advocate being that I worked for them, and I will be reaching out to corporate to deal with this location. This is unacceptable!!!

    Today I had a 9:15am appointment for the lab. Upon arrival I was informed by a non- apologetic receptionist that there would be an hour or hour and a half wait. I explained that I was a diabetic and that my eating time was usually between the hours of 7-8. She then informed me that I could reschedule. Which I did. While on the elevator I thought about speaking to the supervisor. I was told by the same receptionist that it would be several minutes. Then I decided that I would complain to patient services on the 1st floor. This was unexceptable that during covid-19 a patient has to wait 1 - 1-1/2 hours to get their blood drawn with half the seating capacity. There were seniors on canes with no place to seat. There needs to be a serious procedural change and patient service training that is respectful on peoples time and conditions.

    Terrible. The wait time is always extended. Sat here for about two hours now and a nurse says you can go somewhere else because the wait time is three hours and they only have one doctor. During peak times. Well known facility. Just great! Which means you are billed another copay.

    I went here for a mammogram. I was seen after a 20 minute wait. It seemed to have a lot of conversation happening at the intake desk, but I wasn’t there long enough to get throughly involved. Once in the back the technician was fast and knowledgeable. She also answered questions that I had about the procedure. I hope future visits go as smoothly.

    Urgent care was an amazing experience. The front desk agent explained all of the new policies for the 2024 year and patiently waited to see if I had any questions, very nice. The wait time to see a doctor was speedy, less than an hour wait. The care team and doctor was very professional and explained everything to me. I was excited that my prescription was ready by the time I left the doctors office. Thank you

    Horrible place my dr Manaraambil staff are the most incompetent group they must have gotten their certification from a 6 weeks program I am a stroke and heart attack survivor I was recently diagnosed with sleep apnea because I stop breathing 80 seconds through out the night the sleep apnea doctor recommended a specific machine and mask however my doctor writes a prescription that reads Sleep Apnea machine no specifics heck who’s worse the team or what? Makes me question this Most people write reviews because their anger most people don’t take them seriously please take this seriously It’s been several weeks I haven’t slept in a while I recently had a Echo my cardiologist at Northwestern said my heart function went down significantly I m currently working with 40 percent from 57 percent this machine is much needed Hate with these insurance Everything has to go through your primary which sucks I considering changing All my doctors to Northwestern it’s far from my home I would ride a dog to get there if I have to To get better care and from a staff who really care about their patients Advocate thumbs down 👎 Terry

    I honestly don’t know why anyone would go here instead of an ER,and I have to wonder if many of these low reviews have this place confused with Advocate Hospital in Oak Lawn. As far as I know it’s a doctor’s office. Outside of fairly basic tests, they don’t do more intensive treatment here.Even blood and urine are outsourced,when they are taken.My doctor has told me to go to different advocate partners in the area,based on the recommended test. It’s usually not terribly busy, even with maybe a 30 minute wait if you’re on time. And I have never never sat in a dirty waiting room. I think some of the complaints are battle fatigue in relation to often getting less than good service in other places.

    This is the worse clinic I said when it comes to the elderly and disabled people you wait for hours to be seen and the doctors still be behind my mom has been coming here for 4 years and it’s no change someone needs to report this we been here since 10am and still didn’t get seen until 1 pm like really this sad some of these people are sick too and need help I will be reporting them to better business because this is just unexplainable frfr and terrible waiting time the doctors are so slow the ladies at the desk help more than the doctors sad 👎🏽

    I really have no words. It's definitely not the internal wait time. If your on time. They call ya. My problem is🤦🏾 , I hate I took a covid test here yesterday and the person that gave me the test said next day results then I never got them. I don't get why in 2022 you still gotta wait for damned covid test results for samn near forever here at advocate

    All of the Receptionist Are so rude mean & nasty to everyone that walks up to there window.. they need people skills if you don't wanna be at work then don't come .they're The worst receptionist I've ever met in my lifetime. on every floor in every department.

    I had a mammogram on Monday at this facility, and was in and out in under 40 minutes. Everyone was courteous, I had no wait time, and the tech did her best not to inflict pain on me, which is very difficult with mammograms. The facility is under construction, so it was not the best atmosphere, but it wasn't an issue for me. I would highly recommend this facility for your annual mammogram!

    I tried to get a referral for my husbands doctor for 3hrs today. I was tossed to n fro,,no resolve. My husband needed his eye drops n to see an eye doctor Horrible!!!!!

    I had an appointment I made with this place and I called two weeks before even a week before and a day before to let them know to swap my appointment with my mom and they told me it was fine multiple times they would message the nurse and clinic and have them call me back and they never did so I called again and they told me it was okay that when my mom got there to just let them know so they can call to confirm with me and when she got there she said the front desk told her the nurse never even bothered to check the requests or even call me. The nurse said no to my mom to see her. And she wasted an hour and a half of gas to get there and also a day worth of work. This office is a mess they don’t care about patients HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. They never follow up or take the time to work with you or message you back. Will be taking my business somewhere else thankfully I have ppo insurance. Will be calling to complain.
