HOTEL
REVIEW:
With
much
dismay,
this
rating
of
3
stars
is
for
the
hotel
stay
itself.
(Please
note
at
the
time
of
writing
this
the
high
overall
rating
is
a
result
of
many
of
them
for
the
location
on
the
map/lighthouse
only/views
and
NOT
the
actual
hotel!)
It
gives
me
such
sadness
to
give
this
place
3
stars
as
I
know
it
has
the
full
potential
to
be
5
stars
and
I
do
truly
hope
they
make
a
few
adjustments
to
succeed!
The
STAFF
were
all
very
kind,
courteous,
and
hospitable
but
perhaps
there
weren’t
enough
of
them
as
the
simple
fact
to
carry
our
own
luggage
around
the
rocky
and
rugged
property
at
check
in
and
checkout
was
a
bit
disappointing
at
the
nightly
price
paid.
The
FOOD
was
a
bit
overpriced
at
dinner
when
considering
local
alternatives
but
I
do
feel
the
pricing
is
in
line
with
the
potential
of
the
hotel
when
I
imagine
it
could
arrive
one
day
at
5
stars.
I
can’t
speak
highly
enough
of
the
ingredients
that
were
of
the
highest
quality
and
truly
exceptional.
Unfortunately,
considering
the
uncomfortable
and
uneasy
journey
to
arrive
there
I
wouldn’t
advise
anyone
to
go
there
ONLY
for
a
dinner
unless
it’s
for
an
event
where
transportation
is
provided.
The
ROOM
was
essential,
minimal,
and
raw
and
had
a
hint
of
elegance
which
I
happen
to
love
fully
but
had
one
massive
flaw:
the
bed
was
worse
than
most
hostels!
If
there
is
one
thing
that
brought
down
a
full
star
for
me
it’s
the
quality
of
the
mattress
and
bed
frame
that
were
both
seemingly
out
of
place.
I
wasn’t
able
to
have
a
full
nights
sleep
any
of
the
nights
here
and
this
is
the
greatest
disappointment
of
the
entire
property.
The
bed
frame
moved
constantly
like
a
hostel
bed
and
the
mattress
itself
seemed
to
be
made
of
hay
and
screws
and
it
jabbed
at
you
in
various
positions
during
the
night.
***Despite
all
of
these
disappointments
I’d
like
to
point
out
that
the
concept
of
restoring
an
old
abandoned
lighthouse
to
host
guests
is
extremely
romantic
and
once
at
the
property,
while
we
sometimes
we
felt
trapped
due
to
the
road
in/out
and
lack
of
cell
service
or
lights
at
night,
the
property
it
in
itself
was
beautiful
and
had
even
more
beautiful
views!
The
breakfast
was
SO
delicious
and
the
main
building
pool
was
breathtaking.
