Really the Best Fugita that I ever ate in Germany. For lunch burrito is ready good. They accept cards.

The flavor profiles have absolutely nothing in common with Mexico, they're entirely missing. I can understand that many customers can't deal with a proper salsa, so to punish everyone, this place doesn't even offer a nice salsa on the side. Instead, you get a super bland glob of stuff that tastes of nothing. What they lack in flavor, they try to make up in volume. I don't think south german waistlines need the extra assistance.

The only food chain that I go to in every city I visit. I just love their fajitas and quesadillas. Also, their huge collection of cocktails is also worth appreciating. Prices here are a bit higher than other Mexican food restaurants chains like Sausalitos but the food is undoubtedly tasty.

This is not a mexican restaurant. It is something quite the opposite. Failing to use corn tortillas, lime, coriander, chili, salsa and anything that would have any taste in it and calling yourself mexican is ridiculous at best. Serving fake guacamole, and pico de gallo without lime makes it almost criminal. Why would anyone do this and deliberarely massacre one of the best food cultures on the planet is beyond me. If you like salt as the only seasoning, then consider coming here, but if you have any sense of taste left go somewhere else

Not Mexican at all. It doesn’t even taste ok. Adding Mexican spices would help. It took them over 30 mins to bring totopos with guacamole. Neither the totopos, nor the guacamole were fresh.

The food was super delicious. Recommended! Will visit again.

Good food but it's not authentic Mexican food.

The cocktails are good and reasonably priced. The food is decent, but nothing to write home about. The main downside was the service. The staff seemed bored and uninterested in their customers. They rarely checked on us and we had to wait for a long time to get their attention. It took us a very long time to pay the bill, which was frustrating. They do accept cards, which is convenient. Overall, I would recommend this place for the drinks, but not for the food or the service.

Very poor service experience! Had dinner here on a Saturday evening. Came without reservations. Waited for a table for a bit and then got it inside. Had the poulet chimichanga, fajitas verduras and Nachos Tijuana. Food was average. Chimichanga wasn’t fried which is typically the case. Fajitas verduras were bland and tasteless. They don’t even give any salsa to season the fajitas, it just comes with tiny portions of chopped tomatoes, guacamole and sour cream and a side of tortilla. But there is no cheese or seasoning in the fajitas so its just sizzling boiled vegetables. Their nachos were good which I can recommend. What made our experience really poor was the service. None of the serving staff were interested in serving food or helping customers. Everyone had a poor attitude and when you ask them for something it felt like you are asking for a favor rather than something you are paying for. Lastly this place was so expensive that I couldn’t understand if I am in Germany or Switzerland where prices are always much higher for food. This didn’t feel like Germany price wise at all. And the cost didn’t justify the food or the service which we received! I would not come here again and would really suggest them to improve their serving which leaves a very poor experience right now!

After a long day of hiking in the black forest, we had our dinner here. The food was super delicious and the portion was more than expected in German restaurants. Our server was very friendly and welcoming. They have great options for vegetarian people (our food was loaded with vegetables, which we loved) who don't want to indulge in fake meat options. We highly recommend the place.

Very tasty! I suggest making vegan options out of vegetarian dishes. It shouldn't be so complicated nowadays, especially not in Germany. And it will definitely satisfy this need on the market. There was also one waiter that seemed like he was drunk. But maybe he was just trying to be very funny or super friendly, but our humour didn't match... I can't be sure... 😅😁

One of the finest Mexican food 😌🤤 Plenty of cocktails options were available. It was decent. We loved the food. Chicken Fajita was my favourite dish. The quantity was more than enough, a good amount of green vegetables were provided too.. We felt the dishes were expensive. No parking on premises. Street parking was available nearby.

After a long day walking at cold and raining day , we stopped by El Gallo ,and was a very good choice ! What an amazing time! We was with our dog, and that was not a problem, we was very good welcomed, our dog got fresh water , we had a very nice cocktails and food , I have to say about the shrimps, ( tapas) it was amazing, ! You should try it! And the meat was super nice ! I hope to back in this restaurant! 💕

I was here with my family, we were 5 and they proposed us a little table. I asked them if we could put 2 tables together and they refused (but there was a lot of tables available!!). It was sunday and as a lot of places were closed, we accepted. We ordered fajitas (quite a big dish). There was no place at all on the table and one dish fell on the floor and on my sister's jeans. She had to throw this jean away.

Best Mexican food I have tried in Germany so far (8 months living here) and trust me, I am Mexican. It feels a bit more authentic when compared to northern mexican food though. My wife and I had the Tacos with mariscos and carne con chorizo. They were both very good. Mojito was very nice as well! Service was a bit slow in our opinion and it felt like you need a reservation to get a table. The place was full of people and we can tell why.

Dinner with family. Good food, all happy, also healthy ingredients, vast menu, friendly and fast service. Prices for some dishes perhaps a little too high, but relative. Beer was not cold and sparkling enough.

Quick and friendly service. Not overpriced. I had no. 18 (Special Burger), highly recommended. Unfortunately the city does not allow sitting outside beyond 11 pm. This is a good quality good value for money restaurant!

Some food was good, mushroom sauce for example on the pork was good but then the pork was overcooked. We also had nachos and while the meat and sauce wasn't bad there was literally less than 10 small nachos under a lot of cheese and meat along with 3 small slices of jalapenos. So not a nice balance. Also I'm pretty sure they forgot to put tequila in the margarita! So all in all its a mixed review.

I was looking forward to trying Mexican cuisine,so I went to El Gallo. They had lots of food on their menu which had me confused since it's in Deutsch and my knowledge of it is limited. So I asked the waiter attending to my tablet to recommend something for me to eat and he said he knew the right one. The food looked Pretty on arrival but it was tasteless, almost uncooked and with no seasoning at all. That's why it's getting a 3⭐!!. Oh I actually don't know the name of the food I was served 🙈😃. The place was filled up with people eating so I guess other dishes must be delicious 😃. I hope to give it a second try and I'm definitely going to choose what to eat next time 😃😉. Great service and amazing food!

Loved the Mexican platter. The price to quality ratio is very good. You can also get great cocktails for lesser price than many other similar cocktail bars. The ambience is also great! Would be my go-to restaurant for Mexican food!

The food looks great but tasts even better! Really tasty burritos (food overall) and cocktails. Relaxed and fun atmosphere. Definetly familyfriendly. Make shure to book beforehand because it's often booked out! ❤️
