I have been here over 30 times. Great Hotel. One small improvement: faster wifi speed around the hotel. At least enough to stream HD Netflix or Youtube. I think a 5s Star hotel should offer high speed internet as a default and not as en extra paying option that is annoying and cumbersome..

Speechless... a wonderful location with very detailed design which looks traditional and modern at the same time. You can spend your time with one of a huge variety of activities, either it is part of relaxation nor you want to get exhausted through sport. The service is extremely friendly with everyone who is working there trying to read what you need from your lips. The food is gorgeous with every disch be prepared with love and the taste to be individual.

One of the few still family-owned hotels at this level. I went there on invitation of my parents (otherwise it would not have fit my budget) for a weekend and can only recommend it. A beautifully designed hotel with a spectacular wellness area: several saunas, massage and beauty salons, indoor swimming pool, outside jacuzzis, outdoor natural water pools and leisure areas. Excellent food and wine selection in several restaurants, i.e The Grill with delicious meat, haute cuisine in Michelin starred restaurant Silberdistel where Brian McLaggen will see to all your wishes. Definitely order the Crêpe Sucette as dessert, best you will ever taste. Lots of sports activities (tennis, horse riding, climbing, golf), family friendly too. To top it all off, it has one of the best and most diverse breakfast buffets in the world. Enjoy if you can :)

We have just finished our stay at Sonnenalp and as it happens every year, we were sad to leave. The hotel is a phenomenal, family-run hotel in the Allgau region and its 5 stars are well deserved with their personalised touches and attention to detail. The hotel grounds get better every year; the kids never get bored of playing in the pool area; we took advantage of the extensive entertainment program on offer; and indulged every night on exquisite food. One of our family's favourite part of Sonnenalp is ordering freshly made crepes every evening. We hope to return next year.

I am very familiar with the Sonnealp brand in Vail, Colorado. My trip to Bavaria was very fortuitous and I couldn't be happier to review such a stunningly first class operation. The Faessler family are truly leaders in the hospitality industry. They embrace every detail that makes a property luxurious and exceptional. The staff is beyond kind, friendly and knowledgeable. The natural beauty of the area is breathtaking! Michael and Anna Maria have created an oasis that makes an investment of the very best finishes, quality service, abundant flavors and impressive amenities because it's the right thing to do. The blend of sumptuous suedes, antlers, etched glass, iron, woodwork and fabulous fabrics are used in a chic, modern way that blends classic Bavarian with a modern, clean esthetic. My only regret is that the incredible Christmas decorations were just going up. I can't imagine experiencing the magic of the Christmas season in the midst of such magnificence. In a world of cookie cutter resorts where every decision is based on return of investment, both Sonnealp Resorts are here for the long term and truly world class. I encourage you to indulge.

Great place, I've been hired as a chef de partie for over 3 years here. I recommend it with certainty, being fully responsible for what I'm saying. I wish everyone to enjoy time here!
