Update: they moved to ground floor. Much smaller shop. One of my favour chocolate shops in Melbourne. Brought a gift box for friend of mine for his birthday. They are moving to downstairs for a bigger shop in 2 months time. Can't wait to see their new shop open.

The “new and improved” store at Doncaster no longer does food and beverages, so no more amazing hot chocolates. Lost us as a long time customer. Purely a retail site only now. A terribly bad decision. Avoid.

Really disappointing that Koko Black no longer serves beverages. It was my go-to cafe ... it's lost me and many other family members as customers.

I just ordered some chocolates online. First time I tasted the chocolate and I have to say I love it. It's good quality chocolate. I will enjoy them with my partner

I was attempting to use my card at another store, and it kept coming up with 'insufficient funds' when I checked my app, it said otherwise and I asked if I could use cash and they unfortunately didn't accept cash so I became frustrated. I decided to go to koko and this sweet and nice girl, Emily, greeted me and gave me the good news that they accept cash, which was a relief, I told her what happened at the previous store and she understood my frustration and I was really touched by her kindness!!

The chocolate mousse here is so decadently & sinfully good and the hot chocolate is so rich and delicious. So love this place after trying it for the first time.

Good and fast service The iced chocolate is $9. The taste is good,come with ice cream, and cho sauce, but not that much rich. The cup is made from plants, thats amazing.

The very best hot chocolate that I've found around Doncaster and Box Hill comes from Koko Black. The artisan chocolates and friendly staff make this a fantastic place to visit for a special morning tea or dessert.

Emily & Esther are amazing customer service there is no better feeling & taste to there signature hot chocolate 10 out of 10 these beautiful women are priceless. Thanks for the amazing service 🙌 😀 ❤️ We will see you again.

Went to the Westfield one- the parking is always so full spent about 30minutes looking for parking. Eventually found some - and when I go here- Koko Black was all full, they don’t have many seats unfortunately, and we all waited about 20mins to get our hot chocolates. It wasn’t too sweet which was good - but the wait combined with the duration the drinks took to come out , it wasn’t worth it. But at the least the photos that came out were pretty

I give this shop 5 stars for everything. Products are amazing store is clean neat and tidy. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very impressed with the knowledge and work ethic from Emily. A great friendly customer server from her. Always coming back to this store.

Didn't know much about this store but have to say the staff working that day, Felicity, phoebe and sineta were really nice (Sorry! Don't know if I spelt their names right). I always find that when staff are super friendly and welcoming it makes me.want to purchase things from.the store. I did walk in because I loved chocolate but wasn't planning on buying anything but the girls gave me samples to try which I bought because I had a chance to taste it (the hot chocolate is actually delicious if anyone is wondering). Thanks guys! Not from Aussie but loved your cusomtomer service and genuine patience while I thought about what to get. 🤗 thank you! KOKO BLACK YOUR STAFF HERE ARE WHAT PROBABLY KEEP PEOPLE COMING BACK NOT JUST THE CHOCOLATE! although it may be the chocolate making them super sweet! Haha 😄

I used to be a big fan of Koko Black's chocolate, but today I went to their Doncaster shop and left with dissapointment. I visited their shop for the first time after they moved downstairs, unfortunately, the service was unacceptable, I was choossing a gift and there were 5 staffs in the shop, 2 of them were chatting right next to me without greeting, I stand there for 5 minutes and they were just too busy with their topic and totally ignored me, in the end I decide not to buy from Koko Black because of the poor service, if the shop can't address their management issue, I will not go there again.

Pretty devastated the new store doesn’t have a cafe element anymore - the hot chocolates were my go-to! Not sure why this is the case.

Sells expired / stale chocolate, do not trust this store, I tried to exchange or return a 64 box of pralines because they tasted horrible and they don’t accept refunds on expired chocolate and blames it on the fact there’s no preservatives in there chocolates.

This is the place for a top notch cup of Belgium hot chocolate. My kids love it here too, their highlight is the teddy pops that come with their babyccinos!

Very disappointed as I use to like their hot chocolate chilly which is now so sweet that you can't even taste the chocolate. And we had a mocha which was as sweet. So never will go again. And the service was very slow.

Service has declined since their move downstairs. Was waiting at the counter and the staff served a person behind me. Then was told I couldn’t buy a hot chocolate as they were cleaning the machine. Even though the man, who was serviced ahead of me, had just ordered one.

4 customers in the shop and two staff with there backs turned. Didn’t even get approached to have service. No service no sale. Extremely poor. Koko black should employee some new staff
