We ate in the bar one night of our stay at the hotel, as well as lunch one afternoon, and thought it was good. The food is nice and a bit more casual than the other restaurant. The bar menu is great, good selection and nice cocktails. The only negative I'd say is service seems a bit chaotic times, can be difficult to get a servers attention depending on where you are sitting.

I had a lovely meal here the spicy chicken burger with avocado. Staff were lovely and there was live music from 21.30.

This is an amazing castle/hotel/spa. Fireplaces strewn about makes everything so cozy. Multiple bars to make sure that next pint is never too far away. The staff properly trained in hospitality.

Always first class service and food.

Best seafood chowder in Donegal

Decided to have a cocktail and a light nosh during our wonderful stay at the Lough Eske Castle so we wondered into The Gallery Bar. A beautifully appointed bar with dark wood tones, comfortable seating, large windows and doors providing a lovely view of the meticulously maintained grounds. The local brew, Kinnegar was enjoyed for its light & tasty flavor. I enjoyed the Cocktail of the Month which was a delicious fruity mixture of whiskey and liqueurs. We enjoyed the Cheese Board with our drinks in this casual setting. The Warm Brie on Crostini was creamy and flavorful, the local Cheddar was devoured first as it was pungent and sweet at the same time, just lovely! The feta in balsamic was delicious as well. The staff was friendly and non intrusive allowing us a leisurely enjoyable couple of hours in this beautiful setting.
