Sliabh Liag Viewing Platform
Scenic spot
ππ Initially we drove past the visitors centre up to the upper car park, it was full; we could have waited for a parking bay to come free but we realised that we would have to walk from there as the bus to the viewing point only goes from the visitors centre.
We drove back to the Visitors Centre and t...

Fairy Bridges
Tourist attraction
π The Fairy Bridges is a natural arch in the cliffs, with blow holes that date as far back as the 1700s. The Wishing Chair is also very popular with visitors, who take advantage of the magical powers of the natural stone chair. More than the bridge I loved the beautiful beach and sea around this area....

Killybegs seafood shack
Seafood restaurant
ππ Great food. Places to sit on sea wall or up by hotel, one table outside and two tables in little park on hill. They are associated with the restaurant in town. See pictures. Given the choices of seafood and not being fried, might have gone to restaurant just up the hill and to the left (west) 2 min....

Largy Viewpoint
Tourist attraction
ππ Largy waterfall is amazing!!! But a fairly treacherous climb to get there, especially in wet weather. Make sure tide is out, can be very dangerous. Good footwear with good grips recommended, not for the faint hearted, unsuitable to bring children or dogs

Fintra Beach
Park
ππ Lovely beach. Plenty of space and hidden corners. Rocks to hide on windy days are there as well. When tide is low, itβs amazing and spacious, but I guess in holidays and weekends it will be packed with tourists and general public so not the best place to relax on those days!
Pretty steep and narrow...

ππ This is an amazing Pub with great music performance, everybody here is so friendly and authentic. We decided to change our schedule to be able to re-visit tomorrow. Special thanks to Casey (I hope I got that right, if not, my apologies) for her performance, I loved the song.

ππ Although we have visited and eaten in Killybegs before, we were advised to visit here.

Bunglass Point
Scenic spot
ππ Very nice lookout point, the cliffs are much higher than the Cliffs of Moehr. During the day you have to leave the car 2 km from the point and there is a shuttle bus service. After 6.00 pm you don't pay (5euro), you can go on by car, you have to close the gate with the rope. We went in the rain but...
