So called "Donner kebab meal". The dog wouldn't eat it. Disgusting. Won't be back. Donner meat was more like a bad quality beef burger cut up. And covered in Sweet chilli sauce. And just sitting on top of a big naan bread. Who does that?! Only thing edible were the chips.

Okay that was first impression and it was bad. I’ve read the reviews but decided to give’em a shot despite negative clues. Scampi… unfortunately looked like frozen, dee fried something in the batter, overcooked and barely edible. Chips were on a mediocre level. So it was first time and bad experience, but I usually wait and order again just to see if there’s a glimpse of hope so let’s wait for the next one and if better I will certainly speak up about it 😉

Dreadful take away, had scampi which was overcooked and very poor quality and the chips were undercooked. Yuk yuk yuk. I visited this chipper a few years back, it was really good back then. Maybe it's changed hands.

Food is terrible and very little hygiene here. Cobwebs and dirt on floor . Cook took dirty rubbish bin out and prepared food after. Very bad place to eat, unless your drunk.

Great traditional takeaway food, convenient location, good value for money

Great place to grab an oily and delicious feed. Would recommend cod and going light on the chippies because they really pack them in! Would also recommend eating by the river Eske, you might see some ducklings!

As space is limited for sitting and door is opening and closing it can be quite cool. Staff followed request for donor with out onions and scampi fries were lovely

Was told fish and chips would be 10 mins but waited half an hour. They seemed to forget about my order, but gave no apology or excuse when nudged after 25 mins. On top of the long wait and watching people order after me get their food, there was no salt and vinegar on the chips as asked for. Would recommend just going to Duffy's instead.
