ALDI is all done up for Christmas that is the shop I mean. But watch out for parking in the car park, a small sign on a poll says if you stay.over 60 minutes you will be fined 120 euro on the spot, its not advertised in the shop about this, its a private car park and boy do they get you, so watch.out folks 120 euro is alot of money out of your pocket for Christmas, dont over stay your welcome in ALDI it will cost ya.

Apart from the mad entrance to the car park through another car par, this is a good store. The shelves are kept well stocked, the staff friendly and they accept STG£ at above the day's currency exchange rate - effectively giving me a small discount if I pay in cash £ rather than € Another tip.. the trollies are released by using a 2 euro coin.. UK 2p coins work in the release slot..

Not very impressed with this place it was not very tidy or well stocked could do with a little work

Getting around is easy, usually no or few obstructions in the aisles. The food is generally very good, especially cereal variety, meat products and frozen selection. Free from products tend to be limited or sold out, e.g. oat milk. Only other issue is gluten free flour placed next to regular flour as it can cross contaminate, it should be in free from section.

Really poor in Donegal Town store. No fresh fruit or vegetables, not even a tomato in stock...

The ALDI in donegal Town is one of the best ALDI'S going it seems to have a low turnover of staff which is a sine of a good employer the staff are only tòo willing to let you take your time moving your shopping oŕ helping you to pack your bags they are extra friendly and seem completely unlike the ones in big cities or towns probably because they are dealing with a lot more country folk. A credit to the company. Well done to the team in donegal.

Fantastic service at this store. Just crossed the border from Northern Ireland and discovered our UK Sim wasn't working. Discovered Aldi here doesn't sell SIM's as they do in Australia! Peter a staff member looked at my phone trying to help me configure it for Ireland and then came out of the aisles to show me the way to Vodaphone across the road which he advise me was closing in 10 minutes! They fixed the issue whilst my wife continued shopping at this well stocked store. Marius was very helpful too showing us to the shelves to find items we couldn't find. Amazing service. Thank you Peter and Marius for exceptional service.

Aldi Donegal town is a positive addition to the town, lots of choice, fair pricing, and efficient staff. Be careful not to leave your car too long in the car park l did as the result of a Joe Biden moment on my part and was clamped, over 100 euros to be released. Other than that good value.
