The condition of the machines is horrendous.In the cardio station every single one is rusty (all of them!). Some are leveled with napkins. All the weights are disorganized at the point that you cannot find the second one that matches (it happens to me always). I have tried going very early in the morning or at night, the floor is always dirty regardless. I have been in many LA Fitness in different cities and states. I could not believe the condition of the machines and the location in general on this one. Unfortunately, LAF at Doral is the nearest to my current location. It is so frustrating paying for such a mess.

My best hour, the most, I totally recommend it, especially the teacher Tiffany, you will enjoy it, you will exercise and you will enjoy it, simply spectacular, you will lose weight while enjoying it

Michael who works in 10055 NW 41st St, Doral, always goes beyond to make me feel like a friend. Seeing the way he interacts with everyone else, that is just his personality. Im always happy to write positive reviews for people who go beyond their responsibilities to make people feel great. I hope management sees what a great asset Michael is.

It is a nice gym with many amenities: Pool, sauna, basketball court, racket ball, etc. The Associates are very attentive.

I've been going to Zumba with my instructor Tiffany for years, good energy, advice, great workout. She is the best!! ❤️

Today 05/21/22 they turned lights off at 9:30 PM, when the gym closes at 10, like saying 'get out, your money is not worth here.' Super unprofessional. Also, their personal training subscription is super sketchy they make you sign contracts and never give you a copy of it. If you cancel the subscription before the year you have to pay 50% of the cost straight, like how unfair is that? Also the managers and some of the trainers are super unhelpful. Once I came to speak with them to complain and they literally were rolling their eyes on me.

I had a bad experience today!!! I have been a member of LA fitness for 3+ years, even during the pandemic I remained a loyal member. Today I went to signup my wife but before doing so I wanted her to try it for a few days before committing to an ongoing membership. The person at the desk was extremely rude and said for her to try it , she had to pay 20$ a day no exceptions…. Even after his response I gave him the benefit of the doubt and explained once again that as a long standing client can he grant me a courtesy pass for my wife, because she wants to make sure she can commit , and again he adamantly said no.. What is worse aside from the terrible conditions these machines are in , plus the uncleanliness of the place , whenever I go to this location I see people just walk in without even scanning their membership cards, I am pretty sure they are not employees. I cancelled my membership immediately!!!!! I am sure one less person won’t be missed but if this is the trend for treating loyal clients , it has a lot to say about management..

These newest reviews are a joke. The guy asked to look at my phone when I walked in to see if he could add a review under my name. Free weights are all over the place and absolutely no one bothers to put anything in place. I have to hunt to match a set of weights or have to take off all weights off the bars. If you can go to a different gym, do it

So today was my first and to be honest, my expectations were really high since at least from the outside it looked like a really nice gym & i found out that they have a really nice pool a basketball court. So many machines, but unfortunately they are ALL really old and rusty, but to me that was not the worst part, the dumbbell section was completely empty, they were all over the place. No rules of any kind on that matter, it should be mandatory to put the dumbbells back as soon as you are done. Overall my experience was really disappointed. I’m pretty sure I won’t be coming back next month, is a shame really, because, again, I was really excited about this one.

The gym offers excellent customer service, and the staff is always attentive. However, it often gets overly crowded, making it hard to fully enjoy the facilities. I hope they can find a solution to accommodate the high demand.

Gym is convenient; but— what a dump. It’s an absolute mess. Equipment left everywhere- dumbbell rack is empty with weights all over the gym, plates are strewn everywhere, staff doesn’t care, all on their phones— gym etiquette is non existent here. It’s like the puppy mill of gyms. Has potential- but the staff couldn’t care less about cleanliness and appearance. If you want to roll or break an ankle- cmon to this gym- you’ll find something to trip on!

Amazing gym , always clean , weights always available thanks to nelson🙏🏻, which we should always help to return the weights to their place! That way it's easier for everyone when it comes to do our workout so we don't waste so much time looking for the dumbbells and we keep the gym organized! over all amazing gym!

Nicer than most . Janitor is always cleaning. Free weight machines have mold on top. You can see it from second floor. Bathroom doesn't stay clean because people are pigs. A lot of machines are in disrepair for long periods of time. But there are enough to get by. Daycare kids do cycle training and don't let anyone access certain weight machines. Update: They got a mechanic to work on machines! They repaired machines.

I have a nationwide LA Fitness Membership. I'm visiting from Los Angeles. Nice gym. BUT it's time to repair and maintain the machines. Many of the pads where your arms touch are cracked, split open and uncomfortable. Management should actually try out every piece of equipment to see and experience the customer perspective. I hope the repair and replace cushioned pads and make sure everything runs like new. Then I can be proud to say I belong to LA Fitness nationwide

Good gym. Good machines. Good people. The only thing I would recommend is putting something positive on televisions. It's demotivating to have TV screens constantly televising CNN and mainstream news with negative info

Great place! Been going here for 5 months now. People need to re-rack their weights. It's disrespectful to the staff. Props to the gym employee who goes around re-racking all the equipment.

Great gym! We should help each other on put in the weights back because its not fair that the only one who do it is Nelson of course is his job and he do a great great and amazing job anyways, he deserve a better position in the gym!

Too expensive for the conditions of the gym, workout machines are old and most of the time 2 out of 5 are working so you have to make a long line. Not to mention they take 170$ of your money to start and they are constantly telling you to "spend more in a personal trainer", felt a little bit like harassment to be honest, being over weight doesn't mean that you are going to make me spend 400$ every month. Terrible experience, go to the UFC, for 20$ more you get a 10/10 experience.

They fixed the water heaters! Hot water is great again. Machines for the majority are repaired and well maintained(not bad for 20+year machines). Staff constantly pick up after members and are extremely welcoming. New prices! 29 per month

Dirty bathrooms & showers, equipment & machines are too old, Sauna isn’t hot enough, can’t use pool because they have swimming classes everyday. So overcrowded you always have to wait to use any equipment. This place needs to be remodeled and make better use of its space. It’s a shame.

LA Fitness is fantastic, and their Front Desk Manager is top-notch! The gym is clean and well-equipped, and the Front Desk Manager's welcoming attitude and knowledge make every visit a pleasure. Highly recommended!

La fitness in Doral was extremely clean and the services from the front desk was amazing. Everyone is so nice and has a smile on their face. I would easily recommend this gym to others

Co-workers told me this is the worst LA fitness in Miami because of the layout and equipment - nonetheless i was able to prove them wrong and show this is the worst LA fitness including the staff as they wouldn't even give me a tour before registering. Is there an easy way to cancel the membership without going to the gym? I called LA Fitness Corporate and apparently there is an online form to cancel, that you can mail to the gym. I wonder how can I get it, because they didn't provide that information.

Guy at the front desk asked me to leave a review. I pass the front desk and am then greeted by what I believe to be is the busiest I have ever seen LA Fitness in my time here. Still got that pump tho.

Israel was very helpful through the sign up process , was able to answer all my questions and knowledgeable on all terms and policy . Highly recommended

Amazing gym. Love the feeling that people don't stare at you when you do your workout. They have a small shake and power drink shop(they are amazing). The pool has 3 lines 25m you can see it is well treated. Next to the pool you have a little jacuzzi(really nice and relaxing water). The employing always smiling and full of energy love that feature. The mashines are clean and never squeak.

Love this location so much! I’ve been to two locations but this one has become my go to because it’s clean and even if it’s busy I love that people are willing to share equipment with you ☺️

Overall good gym. The cleanliness is really good and the people there are really nice. But some cardio machines are either old dated or broken. Need to work on maintenance. Been a member there since 2019 and they’ve always had that flaw. But overall really good brand and locations. 👌

I just called to find information about membership. I was a member before in 2019 so I asked if there is any way I can reactivated the one that I had before. I was first attended by a person called Isabella who told me that the membership was $36 but she was going to offer me a special promotion for $31 which is the only membership they offer online so it’s not a special promotion for a customer who was a member before. So I called again and told the girl that I just went to web page and it’s the regular membership and she also told me that it was the same that I paid before but I check and it was not. She decided to transfer the call to her manager which is Franco Rojas who was very rude to me also. I was in the call with two other people who wants also to become a member again but we were amazed who this manager treat people on the phone.

Cashiers need quite a lot of training in bagging clothing. They work in a store that sells clothes that are well folded on the racks and when the cashier gets your items they just throw them in the bag like a bunch of rags! The store is very nice an neat but after going through the cashiers it loses its appeal.

I came here as a guest today. Here is my experience. Pros: High volume center. They have a large number of everything cardio and well maintained weights and machines. Locker rooms are clean and taken care of. Decent cafe. Well attended classes and studio rooms. Good selection overall. Cons: While there are a lot of weights, safety is a HUGE issue here. None of the barbells have caps. The bench presses do not have safety rails. The "free" benches have been bolted into the floor, so they cannot be moved to a rack that DOES have safety rails. Overall: Come with a partner if you plan on using barbells. Good for cardio or anything else.

What a shock! I moved to the neighborhood few months ago and I went there to a person that is already a member - as a member the person had a guest pass, that was given to me to go and try this gym, to help me decide would I like to join. Once we entered the building, we were blocked. by some guy Miguel at the front desk, where he requested that I pay $20 if I would like to enter and test the gym, ignoring mu guest pass completely. LA Fitness should set the lowest standard of people they are hiring, because Miguel was and is below any minimum standard required to communicate with people. Somebody should help him, and teach him the basics of human interactions, otherwise he would be more fited to work with animals. Poor animals.

I have extremely bad experience with the front desk at this location; Miguel, I think is the name of the person who has no manners, acting like a street thug, and not as a professional worker at LA Fitness. And that is shocking! I was invited to try the gym, and had a guest pass to enter the building. But I was requested to pay $20 to enter regardless the guest pass. I don't know why the LA Fitness is promoting this Guest Pass if they don't wan to let the people to try the gym out. It is confusing. Anyway, rude people like that gentlemen Miguel, should not work with humans, a stable would be adequate place for him to work.

Ive been to 5 different LA Fitness including one out of state. This one would be better if they had better staff, the employees (not all) are somewhat rude, and Ill take all that but flickering the lights 5-10 minutes before closing is lame, childish and unprofessional . Many people are in the middle of showering etc, Wait until someone slips and falls then things might get a little bit better.

I was attended by Diana, super nice and professional young lady, helped me get started with my membership for me and my family. The gym is very well maintained and clean, all the employees are super helpful and nice. This is definitely a gym I would recommend to all.

It’s quite a small gym, but that I can work with. However, customer service is a shame. I went to ask a question which the trainer sitting next to the manager found stupid, apparently, and he straight up laughed in my face. I brought it up and none of the 3 employees apologized. That definitely needs some work.

I can't give 0 stars. Signed up and paid 123 dollars. Showed up and place is overcrowded, extremely dirty (regardless of COVID) and without any equipment around as it is all scattered around and members are left to fend for themselves. I cancelled 2 weeks later but had to go to 3 different gyms to find a manager to cancel my membership. After 2 weeks the operations manager of such gym calls to tell me that my payment for my annual fee did not go trough... what the heck? I explained this to the manager calling but he did not want to hear any of it, he just wants his annual membership. This is the worst business ever and you need to go BANKRUPT.

I recommend the Zumba class with Tiffany, it is excellent, I love the energy with which you work and the flow that this class has is excellent! 👍
