This hotel is the ABSOLUTE worst! The entire place was stinky and dirty. The halls were filthy and my room reeked of stale nicotine and bad decisions! The shower curtain and the bedding was moldy. The bathroom floor looked like it hadn't been mopped in this century! AND THE SMELL was so bad! Not to mention the assorted vagabonds that hung inside and outside of the hotel! And to think that they actually require a refundable deposit!! I could throw a frat party in that place and it wouldn't be any worse! I can't believe that Wyndham has their name on this property! The Canadian government should get involved and shut this place down!

filthy! we checked in and within mins we left. she would not give our money back! she said sorry no refund. she showed us a bunch of rooms. all of them had dirty bedding (stains and hair everywhere) and bug infested. This hotel has false advertising sign. it is not travel-lodge by Wyndham. it is London Residency Inn. how can they get away with using a fake name? and to the people that are lying here and giving them 5/5 for clean and remodel are fake. most of them are probably friends, family or the owners making fake accounts. I called my credit card company and i am disputing this. Someone needs to investigate this place! do not go here at all! keep away! keep out!

Disgusting and unsafe. Fridge and ladder in front of the room. Hair strands on the wall. Could be pubic. Tiles were dirty and they left windows open as they stated they sprayed pesticide. Dirty floor. Then the manager was sort of arguing with me on how new the room is. Urgh I left. didn't even have second thoughts about staying there.

Disgusting establishment! When we checked in, the toilet had molds on it. I had to call the room service, on my personal phone by the way because there are no phones in the room, to clean it. Advertised as non-smoking yet the whole place smelled like an Ashtray. To top it off, at 12:30am (midnight!), a stupid drunk guest comes knocking on our door asking us to help her figure out her keys?! What the actual hell?? Do not waste your money on this dump. You might as well pay for a nice hotel than going cheap and having to sleep with one eye open! Very disturbing experience! Never again

I don’t even know what to say on this one! I wish there was a -5 star option. I was expecting a lot more from here, it’s owned by Wyndham, I went to a Days Inn By Wyndham and it was great. As soon as we entered the hotel, horrible smell, pure chlorine and some poop scent or something. We also saw homeless guys nearby this hotel as-well. Dirty as hell, they said if I want to look at the room, and I said yes, soon as I went into it dirty sheets dirty bathroom and curtains were dirty, basically everything was dirty! And we ordered 2 2 double bed rooms, the rooms we were given were 2 singles, we also thought we booked a different Travelodge near the the highway but I think we might’ve been wrong on that one. and they said will upgrade yous to 2 2 double bedrooms for 20$ per person, No, why would we, they are all dirty, and they also said yes it should be clean, don’t think that was true either. We waited for the others to arrive to look at the rooms, they were a bit shocked. They asked for a refund, but the person at the front desk said “are you sure” and “why?” of course I am, what do you expect! We have people with us who had allergies! And they expect us to sleep in a dirty bed which might be infected with cockroaches and diseases, why do they think we would stay! I hope we did actually get a refund! I don’t know if we have yet! The exterior was basically dying at this point, bits of window ledge chopped off, a window with broken blinds and even broken windows and a cardboard window! It’s was basically fraud at this point! We left and ended up staying at a better hotel down the road, way better than this Travelodge, would never go there ever again!

I decided to stay at the Travel Lodge during my recent trip to London, Ontario. Unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. As a concerned parent, I highly advise against choosing this accommodation for your stay. The night I stayed with my kids, we were disturbed by an intoxicated individual who pounded on our door at midnight, causing great fear and unrest for all of us. The incident left us unable to sleep for the remainder of the night. To make matters worse, the Travel Lodge does not provide guests with a complaint book to register their concerns. Additionally, the air quality in the room was poor, with a strong smell of weed permeating throughout. The cleanliness of the place was also subpar, adding to our overall negative experience. In conclusion, I strongly discourage anyone from staying at the Travel Lodge while visiting London, Ontario.

I booked this hotel for my business trip with my family and it was not a good experience. Corridor was little smelly. Rooms were congested. In morning there were no hot water coming. It was come and go. HVAC system is also poor. They need to change some of things. The amount was less for this hotel. Free parking on available.

The rooms are dirty with dirty sheets. Water damage throughout. Smells of mould and smoke (cigarettes and pot). Very noisy from the street, unsafe electrical with extension cords running to appliances… After checking in I dropped my bags and thought the room looked pretty rough but went to grab a bite to eat next door. On my return to the room I inspected more closely and saw how filthy things were. I went to the front desk and they offered another room where the bed was equally as dirty. I decided I couldn’t stay and left. Was told to contact the manager the next afternoon about a refund. When I called I was told that the manager was not in but had said I had spent “too much time in the room”, for reference I had left 45 minutes after checking in including time spent eating a burger at Wendy’s. I left my phone number for the “general manager” to call me back and have received no call back. I have lodged a complaint with parent company Wyndham. I am glad that underprivileged people are receiving accommodations but this hotel shouldn’t be booking rooms in their current state.

We booked this room last minute and stayed for a total of 5 minutes we walked in the room was absolutely disgusting with hair on the bed and towel and what looked like a certain body fluid from a male in the toilet. They wouldn’t give us our money back, and end up making the long drive home. The front desk was not helpful at all and neither was the manger. DO NOT STAY HERE!

This is the most Horrendous Disgusting place I have ever seen. As soon as I walked in I felt dirty the bed had the most Vile Stains. we asked the lady to change the sheets and she seemed very Reluctant to do so when she saw the stains she said oh there just marks and was playing with the stains but still changed the sheets but these ones are not much better. I found hairs on my pillow the bathrooms look like something straight out of a horror movie. The doors dont lock very well. And Cockroaches This place makes me feel sick. Gross, nasty. PLEASE NEVER STAY HERE!!!!!! Keep your kids away unless you want them to become sold to some drugged up bum. I can't Stress this enough STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

The room was advertised as having 2 queen beds, they were double beds, there was hair on the towels and in the tub, the tub did not have a plug for the drain, the faucets and plumbing was dirty and there was a cockroach in the bathroom. there was also a cigarette burn on the sheets and the sheets were poor quality. We asked for a plug for the tub and they didn’t have another and didn’t bother calling us back to let us know. horrible experience. dingey place and bad smell

This is a terrible place to stay the night. If you have booked it and now reading this review, do yourself a favor and cancel even if you end up losing money. The place is old, stinky, and run down. It's full of crack heads, homeless people. From the time we walked in to the morning we left I felt uneasy. From the hours of 2 am to 5 am all you here is people yelling, screaming, banging doors, walking around the halls playing music. Police were looking for someone when we first came in. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL/MOTEL/CRACK Head infested place. Run and don't look back! I rather sleep in my car on the side of the road then sleep at this dump ever again.

Comparing to other economic hotel, this one meet my expectations with nice cozy though small room but nicely organized layouts. Location was suitable for commute to Fanshawe College as the bus stop was just in front of it.

The hotel lobby smelt like cat litter that hadn’t been changed in 6 months. Then when we got to the room the bathroom shower had hair all in it and the mat for the shower was supposed to be white but had some sort of black stains on it. Not to mention the bed, my fiancé sat on the bed ( mind you my fiancé isn’t a very big person) and the whole bed flipped up. I wouldn’t recommend this place ever to anyone it was a .0 rating. Also not to mention the fire risks that were in that room Room 328

0/10. Do not recommend staying here. It was pulling teeth trying to get my deposit of 100 dollars refunded back to me. I stayed for one night and got my deposit refunded approx 2.5 weeks later (which I am assuming is because I made a complaint statement through the bank). This should’ve been credited back within 24 hours after leaving. I tried to call the hotel several times and they proceeded to hang up on me which just frustrated me more. On top of this, there was a lot of banging around between the hours of 4am-6am where it woke my boyfriend and I up out of a dead sleep. Additionally, the bathroom was disgusting with rust and mold. The price was ideal but the stay and the hassle wasn’t. Save your money or splurge a little and go elsewhere. Lesson learned…..

"If a toilet was a hotel" does not even begin to describe this place. This is not a hotel, this is a flop house. I hope the pictures speak to the creepy, dirty and unsanitary vibes. The photos do not capture the pungent aroma of mildew and mould. It should be condemned. It is now my personal mission to do all I can to have this hotels license stripped for operation. Cockroaches, unkept rooms & poor maintenance round out the unflattering description of this place.

Really bad, really sketchy "hotel". It's more like a motel that has semi-permanent tenants. Pillowcases, sheets and shower curtain were not cleaned, a/c was leaking, could hear neighbors walking around and yelling at all hours, I didn't even want to walk around the room without shoes on, broken windows, parking lot was filthy, just overall dingy and not what you'd expect from a reputable hotel chain, or to be featured on Expedia and the like. Do Not Recommend!

When we went to check in, there were broken columns outside and lots of marginalized people hanging around the entrance. When we got in, our room we were given had no carpet on the floor, just bare cement. When we went in to the bathroom, there was feces all over the toilet and it hadn't been cleaned! The bedspreads looked dirty and there were holes in them. Changed rooms, the toilet was plugged, same situation in the room with no flooring. There were mattresses set up in the hallways where homeless people were sleeping. This was clearly a homeless shelter funded by the government and they still took bookings without disclosing that!!! We felt very unsafe (not to mention unclean) and ended up checking out asap and booking somewhere else. Unfortunately, we booked through expedia and when me, expedia and then my credit card company tried to call them to get a refund, no one would answer the phone. Disgusting. I'm more disgusted with Expedia for advertising that property and not giving me back my original payment! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY!! UNSAFE

No. Just no. This place is utterly disgusting. If you plan on staying in London but find other hotels too expensive, it’s worth paying extra for those hotels. Walked in and immediately noticed a door that said “Keep Door Closed. Fire Regulation” that was OPEN. Red flag #1. Staff was abrupt and unhelpful. Checked in, went up to the room and without even spending a minute in the room, I left. Cancelled my stay, as I would rather drive 3 hours home than stay in this place out of a horror movie. They kept my $100 security deposit but that didn’t matter as much since I would rather pay $100 to get out of there than to stay there.

Toilet paper works by absorbing matter with the little pockets. It gives matter something better to stick to. The item which is in the bathroom where I presume toilet paper is supposed to be and looks similar to toilet paper… it spreads your matter everywhere. It’s as if I wiped with plastic wrap. Bring gloves and a black light.

The room looked like it wasn't cleaned before we used it sheets and blankets full of burn holes, dirt and stains on curtains walls floor bed. The shower curtain had mold on it the tub was rusted and old bar of soap left in the drain hole all the towels were dirty and stained. The ac was leaking huge puddles on the floor and the only outlet that had a TV plugged in had no power to it. When we told the staff about the leaked ac and TV he new about it. Only stayed as there were no rooms left at other hotels never staying again wouldn't recommend to anyone

well first thing is cheap, secondly its clean and third good people who will accommodate you safely. I see people posting their bad experience is mostly how you get and what you pay for. If you want all those standards please go book holiday inn or Hilton where you could pay 150 or 400 respectively. If you want the hotel to be like Hilton when you pay 75 dollars I don know what to say.

Do not stay. Sheets and towels were dirty. The bathroom was gross. And there was a cockroach in our room. If we weren't just there for a couple hours during the day and only one night we would've left for sure.

Well, it's a 2.5 star hotel and I paid 65 after tax for a night on a Wednesday. Less than half the price of a Holiday Inn or 3star+ place, and yeah, it feels like it. It's got that cheap eco soap that it feels like youre trying to start a fire by rolling a wooden stick between your palms to get a weak lather, furniture and walls are all scuffed and cracked, bathroom is small, has only the sink and no where to put toiletries, and it's pretty run down. Floors are sort of sticky. Like right now, it's almost 11pm and I can hear someone blasting a movie or something down the hall, and a lot of traffic noise. People walking through the hall a lot and the walls are thin. That being said, the staff was polite, they have a 24/7 restaraunt with free room service, free parking and wifi, etc. And it's cheap. I stay at a lot of hotels for work. This is on the low end, no doubt, but it's also like half the price of other places. I've definitely stayed at worse. My sheets are clean, it seems. No discernible bed bugs. Haven't had a shower yet but will update if I don't have hot water or something. Good place for a cheap night if you are a really easy going person that doesn't mind a bit of scuzz. It is definitely not a good place for a romantic evening or if you have high standards. I can think of several people in my family alone that if they walked into the room, they'd probably walk out and stay somewhere else lol. For what it is though, it's decent. If you want clean everything, spacious and nice rooms, in a good location, with nicer toiletries and a better experience, drop $140+ and stay at a Holiday Inn or other 3.5 star and up hotels. For $65 after tax, don't expect much and you won't be disappointed.

Seems to be under new ownership and renovations. Put up in an upper floor with no elevator. Changed our room to main floor . Very sparsely equipped. No coffee maker, no hangers, no desk, no chair, not enough towels or toiletries ( one small bar of soap and one small packet of shampoo that was hard to open,) no hair dryer. I don't think they are ready for customers yet.

I don’t usually write reviews, but my goodness this was AWFUL, the hallways smell disgusting, can barely sleep in the smelly disgusting beds, my nose was also allergic to something in the room. The only decent things is the fridge and microwave. Tried saving money and ended with a terrible experience.

Worst place we have ever stayed. Staff was not helpful at all. They are the most incompetent and disorganized business I have ever dealt with. They did not change our towels or sheets during our stay. We asked them to do this and still didnt do their jobs. I will never stay here again.
