AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ANY COST - NOT FIT FOR DOGS !, OWNED OPERATED BY MIDDLE EASTERNERS - BETTER OFF RENTING A TENT - HOTEL TOTALLY CLOSES DOWN AT 2100 UNTIL NEXT DAY - SAD AS ONCE WAS A GOOD PLACE BACK IN PRIOR TO 2010 depressing and employee's complain of their treatment by the owner. S

Wouldn't really recommend, hotel could use a renocation. It's cheap hotel, room size is really nice. Room was mostly clean, but there was trash under the bed. Carpets are really dirty and full of all kinds of stains. Also curtains don't block enough sunlight, as soon as morning came i woke up.

The price is alright. Staff is also friendly but the worst part is checking in if you come late in the evening. The reception closes at 10:00 and after that you cannot reach anybody via phone (also not via the emergency hotline!) If you need anything, you can forget that you’ll get any help.

Terrible hotel. The one redeeming quality was the staff, as they were nice and pretty competent. However, the rest of the hotel was atrocious. The room's cleanliness and maintenance was sub-par - two pretty big brownish stains in two spots on the floor, paint scraped off the wall in one place. The pillows were big but so soft that even with both of them under my head I felt like I was lying on the mattress. The Wi-Fi was bad, connection speeds of 60-80kbps (I last had a connection this bad in 2003). I wanted to take care of some work and do some personal things, ended up having to use my phone as a hotspot (while roaming as well, so it's not cheap). Thankfully, my room had a hairdryer, but my colleagues did not. Worse though, they had no iron and ironing board, at all, in the hotel, so my colleagues and I had to all come to work with creased and wrinkled clothes. Lastly, the worst bit (though to be fair, almost definitely it was beyond their control) there was literally no running water in the morning. No shower, no teeth brushing, nothing. Not even breakfast, at least not at first. It was restored right as we were leaving, around 8:45, and were already checked out. Definitely not worth the 70€ we paid, each, for one night with breakfast.

If you want to make day trips to cities like Köln and Dusseldorf. If you would like to stay in Hilden the location is a little worse because it isn't close to the city center. The rooms(ervice) was good for the price. The personal was not very homely. It seemed like it was already hard to say hi to people who walked by for them. We didn't have the break menu because we thought it was too expensive.

Been here one day so far, I'm beginning to think all the negative reviews are fake. They are nice, decent breakfast, clean room

Big room, a lot of space; bathroom is big and bright. But the commun transport is not so convenient.

We reserved a room for 2 people and when we got to the Hotel the staff said we've booked twice from a website i had never even used before, so both rooms had to be paid for. Room had poor lighting, dirty bathroom, and pillows had stains on them. Ended up not even staying at the Hotel and wasted over a 100€ that we couldn't get back.

Booked a double room with 1 queen bed, the hotel is in quiet area with private free parking, looks ok from outside, at the reception we got a plastic key that was damaged, the room had 2 single beds that kept moving away from each other, so we could not sleep together in one bed, very annoying, the room was very cold it was freezing outside, and the heater was not working as well, to watch the TV you need to login with an Amazon account, very strange, we left after 2 hours because it was too cold and we could not sleep, there was no one at the reception to complain to. Never again
