Got sat quickly at the bar rail and immediately greeted by the female bartender. Had a few drinks, the blueberry lavender lemonade was amazing! We ordered takeout and got it in a timely manner. Bartenders seemed to work well together, although watching the male bartender pour ice into the drinks over the open ice bin was off putting as well as the fact that neither of them washed their hands between cash handling, making drinks, etc and grabbing fruit garnishments for drinks. Bathrooms clean but no paper towels to dry hands. Overall good experience just a few things knocked that one star off.

It's Outback, how much do you expect? It took a little while to get someone to serve us after we sat down at the bar, but after that both bartenders were pretty attentive. Drinks are not terribly priced. The deep fried rib appetizer was surprisingly good. The new hot wings they have are different from the smoked ones. I remember them having, not as good as they used to be. Steak was okay, at least it was cooked, right.

I waited a full day before posting this to make sure I wasn't posting an anger or frustration. I took my sister here yesterday for her birthday made sure that our server knew that it was her birthday. When we got there the young lady seating us was rather rude (she didn't even speak then sat us at a dirty table) but we shook it off asked for a cleaning rag and went on about our day. She finally came and took us to another table after standing at the podium watching us stand by our table for a minute (it was REALLY nasty). Our server was less than attentive I had to wave him down every time we needed something because he only checked on us once without that and was really short with us when he did he kept walking past and not even looking at us. The people next to us, also in his section, got their appetizers and food before we did even though we ordered well before they did, before they sat down even, and no we did not get anything any more difficult than they did, they had almost the exact order that we did. My sister and brother-in-law's food was mostly correct except they forgot to leave something off that they were asked to leave off but that was fine she's not that picky. I asked for a medium steak and my steak was well done. I informed him of this but nothing was done all he said was "I'm sorry about that". I reminded him about it being my sister's birthday when we were almost done eating and still nothing. The manager finally came over as we were all leaving and said "I wish I would have talked to you before y'all left" and I just looked at him crazy because I'm literally standing right in front of him. I also had a gift card that I purchased at this restaurant but it says there's a zero balance on it because it was already used and they would do nothing about that either. Apparently there is New Management here from the last time I came because it was the worst experience I've ever had at this particular location. I won't be back and I won't send my family any more gift cards from this place. I expect when I spend $100, with or without tip, at a location that it at least be worth it. Don't worry, I tipped anyway but not even half what I normally would had I gotten better service.

I must say i haven't had this kind of experience in a while . Your server BREE is the absolute best. I literally will recommend her to my friends and family, she was so attentive and very patient , my 5ur old can be a handful some times but some how her personality kept him in awe , thank you so much for giving my family a great experience!

Delicious. The grilled shrimp was the best shrimp I ever had and the Mac and cheese bites were also delicious. That is what I always get and it is so good I will probably just keep having those same two every time we go. The second time I went wasn't quite as good the Mac and cheese bites were cooked slightly too long and the inside of the shrimp wasn't quite as moist and the outside was better the first time when it kind of black. It was still delightful both times though 5/5 both times I went.

This time we were not impressed. While my Flo steak was great , my husband's steak was nothing but fat.while a good steak does need fat, this was about more fat than steak. I don't pay for fat. Do better

My wife and I stopped in at this Outback for dinner and it was a great experience! We got a table as soon as we got in our waitress was Chasity and the service was great. She suggested we add onions and garlic butter to our steaks and it was delicious! The steaks were cooked to perfection! Great experience all the way around. Can't wait to come back!

This was our first time here we will be returning! I love the seafood options and even if I don’t eat it it’s good to have options! Definitely would return just for the customer service service

From the moment I walked in, she was incredibly attentive, making my dining experience truly memorable. Brittani's sense of humor added an extra layer of enjoyment to my visit. Waiting for 45 minutes specifically to sit in her section was absolutely worth it. What amazed me even more was her remarkable memory - she remembered my order from a visit three months prior! That level of attention to detail is rare and greatly appreciated. On another occasion when my husband and I stopped by for a quick drink at the bar, Brittani went above and beyond. Our drinks were refilled before we even had to ask, showcasing her impeccable service instincts. If you find yourself hungry in Dothan, Brittani P. at Outback is the person to seek out. I'm back again, I'm a truck driver from Ohio and my travels finally brought me back to my favorite outback location. 5 🌟 across the board yet again. I was greeted by the manager who held the door open for me as I walked in, who sat me in the bar area at a nice booth. I had Tiffany as my server, last time was sheyanne. Tiffany took great care of me, she was quick with the refills, I ordered the ahi tuna which immediately came out, and my outback style prime rib soon after, everything tasted fresh, HOT 🔥 and cooked PERFECTLY. your cooks in the back did an amazing job. I'm glad I got to return to this location again. Being from Ohio i don't see very many outback steakhouses that still take pride in their work and treat their customers like family. This is by far the best outback I've ever been to and that's saying something because I'm a truck driver......I visit a lot of outback steakhouses and non compete with this location in Dothan AL. Thank u!! Can't wait until I return again

Very impressed with how our steaks were cooked. Exactly what we asked for! Everything tasted great and our service was fantastic! We love eating at this Outback and we will continue to come.

They are in the midst of remodeling, and the place is going to look fantastic when it's done! Our server, Cam, was an absolute delight! Very attentive without hovering, and just overall, a sweet young man. Because of the remodeling, the place kinda echoed, and it was difficult to hear at times. The glass in one of the front doors was in danger of falling out, and so was covered in strips of tape. There were other construction hazards as well, but I won't get into those. Here's the main problem.... I've never had a bad meal at any Outback I've been to until last night. Now, management took very good care of us comping a lot, but not all, of our bills. My combo plate had so much pepper that I ate barely half of the steak and chicken. My baked potato wasn't cooked soft (still hard all through it), and the "loaded" was mostly chives.... just a couple of strings of cheese and a slight smear of sour cream. My friends ordered prime rib. It was tough, stringy, and under-cooked. They ordered medium rare, and it was barely even rare. They had a hard time cutting the meat, and it was almost impossible to chew. They basically only ate the mashed potatoes. Another member of our group ordered a chicken sandwich of some kind. The chicken was tough, and he said it felt and tasted like a combination of cardboard and saw dust. Unless the kitchen gets its act together, I don't see good things in their future.

First time visiting this location and the first time visiting an Outback in a year. The food was good, prompt and fresh. There was a slight mistake with one order but it was resolved quickly. The absolute highlight was our server. Im terrible with names but I believe it was Chasity. She went above and beyond, with a super positive personality. All of the staff was very friendly and attentive. Outback is a chain and they have to operate within its confines of ingredients so the food will never be five star, but the service here certainly way. Thank you!

Arrived well after the lunch hour...stood at the hostess stand for at least 7 minutes. Finally someone came out of the back and acknowledged me. Also... No bartender was visible the entire time. Waiter was nice enough...forgot to bring a requested item and never checked back with me after the food was delivered....steak was over cooked, dry and flavorless....also...on the way out...hostess stand was still empty. Will not return... there are much better options for dining in that area.

However, we will not be returning. They do tip sharing among the waitresses. This is something I whole heartedly disagree with! A good waitress that earns a good tip should never have to share it with someone who may not be good at the job. What is the incentive for them to be strive for?

We had Brittany R. as our server tonight and I can honestly say it’s some of the best service we’ve ever experienced. She was fun, prompt, social but still kept things professional. I have a huge appreciation for servers in general but Brittany? She goes the extra mile. Outback is lucky to have someone like her interacting with their customers. We are leaving tonight happy, full, and appreciative of our stellar service. Looking forward to coming back and making more memories with our new favorite server! ♥️

Not a very good dinner. To much fat on the steak and was over cooked. No napkins. Our server got us some that are used in the restroom. Bad service.

Ordered the steak and lobster. Bread delivered warm. Normally ask if you'd like more, but they didn't. Took a while for a water refill. Someone brought my steak and potato, and told me my lobster would be another two minutes. They should bring the whole entree as ordered in one delivery. After finishing my steak and potato, my original waitress came by and asked if I wanted dessert. Informed her that I would like my lobster (maybe she thought I ate the lobster shell). Bottom line: never saw my waitress from the time my meal was delivered and until about five minutes after my plate was clean. The lobster arrived about 20 minutes after the steak arrived. Need some better quality control!

Excellent Steak & Shrimp Combo! Everything was fresh and full of flavor. Had a Loaded Baked Potato and the Steakhouse Mac & Cheese... Delicious! ask for Buddy at the Bar. He'll take care of everything you need. Great Service!

After a long day, I wanted to go somewhere to eat with my daughter for her birthday. We were out of town. We didn’t know much about the area, but we did see that outback had a four point star in google. We were very excited to sit down and eat except when we got there my seat was wet with cleaning products, and I had to go to the host and ask her to clean it . I had to wait on her to finish up her phone call, which was about three minutes that I was standing beside my table and then I asked for a gluten-free menu which was never brought to me so I had to ask my server. I wasn’t given any utensils or straws, but was given my food and my water and had to ask for that as well . I receive my utensils there were fingerprints on my steak knife. My food tasted, absolutely horrible. There was no eggs or bacon on my salad. Not to mention I paid $17 for it . I asked my server to bring me some bacon for the salad because that is what my menu stated. When my server brought the bacon out, it was nothing but cut bacon fat. Also, my chicken was ice cold like it had been sitting in a deep freezer . My daughter ordered a hamburger which comes with fries and she wasn’t given any fries so again we had to ask the server to bring out fries . The burger that my daughter ordered was smothered with mustard. It might as well been a mustard burger. And to be honest, it was filthy inside, and I would feel better eating out of my cat dish than I would eating there. Do not go here. Also we never even got a refill and I was listening to my daughter sick the bottom of her cup for 20 minutes. What a horrible birthday experience I’m so disappointed if I honestly could leave no stars I would.

The food was awful. Over seasoned on some, no seasoning on others. Paid extra for asparagus that had NO taste at all. Waitress was not attentive, and the restaurant was not busy. We had 3 people that had sweet tea. We asked the waitress (not ours, because who knows where she was) for refills. A completely different lady brought out one full glass of tea. That was the one and only refill that was brought. Bill was close to $75 for just 2 people. I haven't eaten at Outback in years, and I was clearly reminded why.

Amazing service, delicious food. They forgot one of my sides but we're very gracious and brought it out straight away, server was amazing and a very sweet lady. Only downside I would see is that the baby changing table in the restroom was mostly hidden in a handicapped stall, making me think there wasn't one in there at first glance. Otherwise, try the smoked porterhouse. It gives the Cellar a run for its money for the price. We'll be back again soon.

Outback is relatively reliable with their food so I'll skip commenting on that. However, this restaurant was in desperate need of some facilities management in the men's room. See pictures for more details.

While we had dinner I am not sure what happened or why what happened happened. Our blooming onion was booked until the breading was Brown look up onion itself was barely even done. After the blooming onion came we waited another 45 minutes to get two steak salads. We went through two loaves of bread with butter and the blooming onion and spent the next 40 minutes staring at each other wondering why our food hasn't come yet. To her credit the waitress refilled or drinks pretty quickly and was quick to give us more bread even though what we wanted were our salads. Our daughters steak which was supposed to be done medium came to her well done and the mac and cheese that she ordered with her steak was almost room temperature. When the bill came I took it to the manager and explained our situation... to her credit she listened to everything I had to say apologized and took the bill from me... I am giving this restaurant five stars because this is the first time we have had a bad situation there. The managers professionalism and the way the situation was handled causes me to want to give this restaurant another chance.

We ate at Outback tonight and had one of the best servers we have ever had there! Tori took excellent care of us! The food was fresh, hot, and exactly as we ordered it. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

We got our steak dinners to go and everything was superb as usual!!!!! The steak was juicy and cooked just right. The baked potato was good as well as the salad. I am not a fan of the bread though! The service was great as well from the person who took my order to the waitress who brought it out to us. I highly recommend them! 😋

Our waiter was pretty good. We had a large group. We asked for things but didn’t get them. But over all with the chaos of the whole party. He was great. Food as always great. Drinks were awesome. We had a Wallaby darned and I tried something new but for the life of me I can’t remember the name, it was delicious though.

Got a cup of their new chili and their signature Blooming Onion delivered through Uber Eats to my hotel room. Everything is pictured and I assure you, delicious. Love this restaurant, wish I could've taken this photo in the restaurant but am having to quarantine in this hotel room. It made my memorial day weekend.
