Quite expensive to dine at, but I haven't been there in years so the restaurant has changed alot since then. Lack of silverware and there was barely any options because every plate was empty. The staff was hardworking and they were able to be friendly and efficient.

Haven't been to this location since the chocolate fountain was installed. We had a party of 10-15 people that was reserved ahead of time. No issues with seating, the food was good. Chris, the waiter was superb. The buffet was restocked frequently.

Food was really good , service was good and kept on top of drinks. Music was to loud !!!

I ordered pickup for their yeast rolls but arrived on time, waited at register for 3-5 minutes while staff are walking around conversing with each other. Finally, hostess says she “just” sent my order back even though pickup time had already passed. I waited another 10+ minutes and received cool somewhat hard rolls. They were supposed to be a tasty surprise for the family. Instead we used them for batting practice. Although not delicious they did bring some jokes, chuckles and some good old family fun which is never a bad thing. Turned lemons into lemonade…

I took my parents to eat here today, as they rarely get out of the house at their age. My dad was really looking forward to it because the Golden Corral is his favorite place to eat. We had to wait on the chicken for 20 minutes, so by the time it was ready, my parents were no longer hungry. But they did eat with no complaints. And we had a really nice waitress! We will be back.

We stopped in Sunday evening. Immediately through the door. There was a strong scent of must, mildew, something unpleasant. Standing at the front desk or a couple of employees that completely ignored us. While we stood there waiting, we decided that the smell and the rudeness of the employees were a strong indication of how the food and environment inside the restaurant would be. So we opted to turn around and go somewhere else. This place needs to be closed for a day and DEEP CLEANED!

The fish and sirloin steaks were delicious. The spinach salad was just as wonderful for dinner. I also ate breakfast but was limited on choices because I don't eat pork. I enjoyed the visit with family and friends while attending a Dixie youth baseball all-start tournament

The lunch was lacking in choices and just a small amount of food was out at the times I visited, but the services were very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful which as always made me wishing I was a military so I leave them all a large tip.

I enjoy omelet station, and Barbara is a very friendly server. She always takes great care of our table. It's a shame that management has to treat her so poorly. I heard that she walked out. If she isn't there anymore then I will find different establishment for my dining.

What a wonderful evening out with my husband. Might have missed getting the free Veterans meal for him, but we had service with a smile and excellent care from our server Rhonda! When thanking my husband for his service she even invited us to come back Monday when they are offering Vets their free buffet, but sadly I have to work.

It was nice walking into Christian music playing, cashier was pleasant and kind... our waitress Mrs. Sabrina was very helpful! Watching the workers keep everything clean and tidy was a bonus... it was also a latex free space for our special needs son!

The food was great. Service was outstanding. Everything was clean and tidy. My only issue was listening to the music playing throughout the restaurant, and hearing different music playing from one of the waiting staffs phone in the drink station. It was unnerving and distracting.

Golden corral can be hit or miss but this particular location is excellent! Food was very fresh, restaurant was clean. Excellent choices for a buffet! Service was good. The only critique I have was I didn't get my drink until I was on my second plate of food but not a big deal with the food being so fresh and has a great taste!

The food was decent, however the atmosphere was terrible. There are clearly not enough servers to handle the workload and the severe disarray in cleanliness was a clear indicator. We had to find our own highchair for our little ones, and had to wade past filthy tables to get to a table that was the lesser of dirty, then wait for the waitress to have to clean it herself before we could sit down at this now sopping wet table with an incredible amount of food scattered about under it. Not saying that Golden Corral is a bad place to eat, but for the money spent, my expectations were much much higher.

Ate here twice and enjoyed it each time! Food is great and always fresh and hot. Our waitresses have always taken care of our refills on drinks and were very friendly!! Highly recommend it if you're in the Dothan area.

Food was decent! They're short staffed so took a while to get our drinks- we already had eaten half our plates. Server was nice tho! Whole place really smells horrible like mildewed carpet though which really is gross. Health dept needs to do something about it, the smell hits you hard as you walk in, I doubt that carpet has ever been cleaned. It's also expensive imo as a small woman who only eats 1 small plate and dessert- I just like having variety.

Went here because my son wanted it so badly. And wow have the prices gone up so much it would be cheaper to go to a steak house honestly. Our server was nice. Others just congregated to the register area and stared you down….makes you feel uncomfortable honestly. Best thing was the ice cream….don’t think I will return.

First time visit, I like the idea of buffet, but sometimes too much loses its flavor. The weekend price is a little high, if you want to try it out you might want to visit during the week. Service was great though👍

I will not go back for Sunday dinner. My family likes to buy me gift cards for restaurants. I was trying to use these gift cards and they were having trouble getting them used and I felt bad because the line was backed up. I went ahead and paid for the meal. The staff who is working as hard as possible but there was not a lot of selection of food left. also when I left I asked for a sweet tea to go. I did not realize you could not get that anymore and the waitress was your very rude saying if you have $.55. No other restaurant has done that to me in Dothan. Also we did not get any refills while we were eating. I think maybe Sunday with just too busy. We will go another time

My family decided on a buffet tonight, so we gave this location a try. Our experience was average at best. It looks like the buffet area had been upgraded within the last couple of years. Those parts looked nice. What was left out in the apparent upgrade were the carpet and the booths. A lot of wear and stains throughout. There was a lot of staff at this location, but none of the staff made us feel overly welcome. We were greeted, but no one checked on us after we got our food. I will say, though, that our drink cups were filled once, which was enough for us. The buffet area was confusing. There was no flow of display. Meats were all over the place, as were the sides. And the signs over the items were wrong. Rice was under a sign that said "chicken" for instance. The overall buffet area was clean, so that was a plus. The food itself was okay. It was obvious some of the items had been on the buffet a while. Needed stirring to freshen up so as not to dry out. The grilled chicken was especially dry. The rolls were over baked. We looked in the dessert area. Just wasn't appetizing, so we avoided it. The salad section was fresh and clean, and was the best part of the meal. All in all, the buffet is okay. Nothing special.

Price is great. Everything was delicious but the "artificial" desserts. The ice cream cone is my pick. I even danced to the music.

Just from the time I pulled into the parking lot, you can see that it was full, so that gave me good vibes. I knew if it was packed and busy, the food had to be good. Aside from walking in to pay for the buffet, I was asked how many and what would I like to drink. I told the lady at the register that I would like water and she asked if I would like a plastic cup so I could take home with me which I said yes not knowing that it would cost extra. After paying, I went to the buffet, and I looked to see what options did the have on hand. I personally don't eat meat so I looked for the vegetarian items that's available and I must say it was sad and disappointing because I don't know if it was just this Golden Corral, but the veggies were slim Pickens. The items that they did have was a spoon of this and a spoon of that I will say the workers were refilling those items that were low, but it wasn't at the rate that was keeping up to the pans being emptied so for some items there was a wait. I must say that the items that I was able to get really taste good, and I truly enjoyed it. If I had any complaints, the dessert section would have been the dessert section, which was as limited as the selection of veggies and side items.

Thank Goodness for the wings! I think Golden Corral is our go to place when we just can't decide on what to eat. Service is usually good and friendly, they don't get as crowded as they use to. We do love the steak! I miss the chocolate fountain 😭

Busy and somewhat noisy, however it is a buffet restaurant and it was a Sunday afternoon. Cashier was polite and friendly, and our waitress as well. Fried fish, salad bar, vegetablea were all good. Hush puppies need improvement. Spouse said steak was not tender, and the server only wanted to give him a tiny piece, but it was most likely to stretch servings of the product. Peach cobbler too runny and not enough crust, but tasted fine. Good place to eat pretty much whatever you want. The new decor with the two-sided fireplace is very nice!

Line moves quickly to get a table. Food was all fresh and yummy (lunch buffet). So many selections with plenty available for those who are trying to watch what they eat. Plenty of dessert options for those who aren't watching! We had a wonderful server - our drinks never got empty and used plates were removed quickly.

Is it your policy to make a to-go customer wait to pay until all incoming customers have paid and been seated? The cashier told me she couldn’t ring me up until she finished, all the while my food is getting cold and the incoming keep coming. So I left the food on the scales and walked out. There’s plenty of other options available.

Came here on a Sunday for dinner. Most of the food was cold. The rolls were very dense and overcooked. The dessert bar was sloppy and messed over. The cotton candy cake was not baked thoroughly. However, the shrimp were hot and fresh and the salad bar was clean and stocked. The manager at the time was Kristian and she worked to make sure I had a better experience. Overall, I would not recommend.

Food was fresh and hot, service was outstanding. Only complaint was the floors. If you go to the restroom be careful. The hard surface floors are very slippery. I feel like they need to invest in some new mops and a good degreaser
