Really cool lighthouse, I recommend staying at night to watch it send beams of light over the ocean! Cafe runs 11-5 daily and has clam chowder, sandwiches, and baked goods. Nice trail goes rig hot down into the sand dunes. Plenty of parking.

FAMILY FAVORITE Well cared for state park. Rentable rustic cabins, deluxe yurts, RV, tent and Bike camping sites available. Daybuse are is adjacent to the camp area and located next to a small lake, Lake Marie, with a 1 mile walking loop and picnic benches near the day use area. Located 10 minutes from the harbor (some stores) and about 20 from Reedsport, this is a great place for the whole family. Dog friendly Kid friendly ADA Accessible

Always have loved this little gem of a place! -Lake Marie- One can access this spot from the Umpqua Lighthouse Campground (must hike/bike/run/walk the trail that encircles this lake) or you can drive right up to it using a different road located near, but outside, the campground. It's the Perfect lil' swimming area, complete with picnic tables, sand, or a large grassy area!! 🫶🏼 It is a gorgeous, fun little spot!

Spent weekend at this small campground. Well maintained. Clean. Sites not huge, close together. Built on a hill so walking from RV sites to other part of campground could be difficult. Close to sand Dunes so could here dune buggy motors until dark. Noise could be annoying. There was a stabbing incident while we were there, so lots of police activity, but sadly that could be anywhere. Park rangers friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.

The delux yurts are the place to be. The park itself is really nice and the campsites are separated just enough to enjoy some privacy as well as nature itself. The Delux yurts are a tad on top of El each other with much less privacy. They are set up in 2 rows. A back row and the front row facing the lake. The front row has some amazing views and decks over looking the water with a bit more privacy. With that said the back row last yurt has the most space to move around since it’s the last in the rows and has extra land. So if you have kids that like to play I would pick the last one. If I was looking for a cozy weekend on the deck watching the water and the views I would pick the front row facing the water. Only two yurts allow dogs so watch for that if you have one. We didn’t notice it until we got there but once we realized we noticed the reservations did specify just very vaguely. They book up fast and to be honest I’d rather stay in the stormy months because it’s such a cozy place to be. There is a bay and docks to crab near by and shopping a long stroll or a quick drive down the road. You have to see the lighthouse at night. During the day it isn’t much to look at compared to the evening when the lights turn on. Make sure you read all the things written under the bunk beds. It’s freaking hilarious

I absolutely adore this park, one of the best I've stayed at. We rented a yurt for an important religious occasion, and I couldn't be happier with our choice. Its incredibly cozy, and even the rustic yurts still have comfy beds and a working heater. All of the camp amenities (especially the showers) are very clean, comfortable, and well stocked. It seems like they make a strong effort to make the campsite itself very ADA accessible (all areas have both ramp and stair options, the showers are fully railed and comfortable, bathrooms have ADA stalls, and the campsite paths are fully paved BUT do not have railings as they're all basically roads) but the nature trails around the site aren't so smooth. Not bad-- still secure! But I roughed it out with a cane, definitely wouldn't go with a wheelchair.

Great place to look out over the ocean. We paid $0.25 to use the binoculars. They worked well but there were no whales at that time. Super windy while we were there.

A beautiful working US Coast Guard station with access to the beach, the dunes, and a lighthouse, what could be more Oregonian coasty? Enjoyed our trip and would recommend it to anyone that loves Oregon lighthouses and our gorgeous coast.

Nice little pull out with a view of the water and information on the whales… The lighthouse is still maintained by the USCG so it’s not open, but you can still get pretty close. We didn’t see any whales on our visit but this is a good spot to do so.

Really enjoyed the Coast Guard museum, gift shop, and lighthouse tour. The view of the coast is beautiful, too.
