I really wish I read reviews before I booked this place. The water park was extremely dirty and run by a bunch of teenagers. The pool and hot tub was just as dirty. There were missing pool tile and drop ceiling tile. The beds in the room were so hard I slept terrible. We actually left a night early due to how terrible it was. The ceiling had water stains everywhere. The front desk staff was not helpful and very short with us for simple questions. I would not suggest this place to anyone. For the price I would have expected much better accommodation and staff.

For the price we paid we had much higher expectations! We have stayed at the Jasper Hotel in Fargo for this price and at Pier B Resort in Duluth for this price and those stays were extraordinary. This place is much older than we realized (definitely needs updates). Maybe a price this high in the summer would be reasonable for beach and lake access but for Sept/October it was ridiculously over priced. Things we did enjoy was the outdoor pool that seemed clean and newer. The balconies are nice and the view is nice. 2100 Chophouse was only ok but waitress was kind. Loved being so close to Carlos Creek Winery (that was by far the best part of our stay). We did not go to the water park as it is not included in the hotel price. The indoor pool and hot tub was old and dirty. Front desk check in staff was nearly rude especially when we arrived 19 minutes before check in and were promptly told “check is at 4:00.”

Our group booked 5 3-bedrooms and 1 4-bedroom for a long-overdue family reunion. Four of these units had water-related issues, leading me to think that maintenance hasn't been a priority for a while. The kitchens weren't stocked adequately to cook meals. There were no towels provided to take to the beach. There is no shade set up anywhere - on the patios, at the small beach, at the pool. This staff really needs service training. I did not hear any of these phrases: "Welcome", "Enjoy your stay", "How was your stay?", "Come back soon". I spoke to 6 different people about our water issues (a pipe had burst in the unit above us and we had water pouring into a bedroom for one day), and not one of these staff members said "I'm sorry for the trouble". Everyone was very nice, if detached and uninterested. Beautiful location. Lovely lake. I want to go elsewhere for our next reunion.

We arrived on a Thursday for two nights and the place was deserted other than the one person at the front desk. We had reserved our room as a Savvy Senior so they knew we were senior citizens and yet they placed us at the very end of a long hall as far from the elevator as possible. There were only a few rooms being used so there was no reason for the room we were given. The room was very tiny with no comfortable furniture to sit on. There were no accessible outlets to plug in electronics….get into the present decade! The tub in the bathroom was extremely slippery and narrow, very dangerous to stand in to shower. Also the toilet and vanity were extremely low, so very outdated. When we tried to go have a drink or a snack we were told there was nothing open at the resort that we would have to drive back to town. The pool and hot tub area were disgusting! This entire place needs a complete update.

Gorgeous location. Building is pretty old and the rooms reflect that with some less than ideal updates. The setup is a bit odd with very very long hallways to get to your room. The location is fabulous and the views of the pond are nice.

Like the location and the fact they have townhomes for your big families. The amenities are great including golf, and many paddle options. The rooms are cleans but they can do a better job in that sense as we noticed that under the bed is very dirty. Also the barbecue grills can improve in terms of maintenance. Other than that, there are enough attractions to keep all family members entertained during all seasons of the year.

I am giving this place a 5 star review because of all they have to offer and the great staff. My nieces had so much to do, because of all the resort amenities -including water park, indoor and outdoor pool, mini golf, lake, paddle boating/boarding. We had the best vacation here! The room was very clean and spacious. The facility may be older, but that didn't stop us from having a good time. Can't wait to go back!!

I took my daughter here over MEA break to have a good time, it was nothing like we had hoped. The room was unclean, a/c didn’t work, room was so hot we asked for a fan. Late in the night we had water gushing through the bathroom ceiling. We switched rooms and the carpet was not cleaned in sometime. That morning my daughter and her cousin went to get breakfast, they came back to the room with food, only to have staff tell me that it needs to be paid for. I should have checked to see if breakfast was included but, the manager of the restaurant should have told them it wasn’t before they took it. I went to pay for it and the managers excuse was “oh someone turned the sign around”. The water park is a joke, broken hot tub, everything is dingy full of rust, you need a tetanus shot after being in the water. We will never be back, this place is a dump!

We've been going to Arrowwood for over 15 years, really enjoy the place for the variety it has to offer. But the past few years prices have skyrocketed and after staying there this past weekend we noticed the place is really falling apart. Hard to justify the price for some place looking so ragged. The exterior looks like they've done some updating, but the interior... the chairs in the Rafters bar are all torn up, looks like $5 furniture from Goodwill, the popcorn must be a week old. The indoor pool area needs a serious cleaning and the ping pong table needs replacing. The luggage cart has the rubber strip dangling, the hallway walls are all scratched up and the carpet is very worn at the main areas. Our room was either missing the bed comforters or these new comforters are pathetic, basically a brown blanket with extra edge stitching.

Hotel was great. Water park was nice but water park staff were crabby and too busy playing grab a$$ with each other to help customers - was common to see 5-6 of them standing by the bar together and scatter once customers showed up, very disappointing. They also kept closing the water slide then all staff would disappear for 15 minutes.

21 of us stayed in two of the town home cabins. It was PERFECT. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There’s enough space for everyone. There is a kitchen with utensils and some basic cooking appliances. It’s a 3 minute walk to the main lodge and the water park. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a weekend with their family.

I cannot overstate how helpful Katrina Drietz, the group reservations manager was. I called her directly and she had to inform me there was no availability for one of the nights. However, she kept at it and found rooms for all of our staff. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and quite. The banquet staff are exemplary. Great experience.
