Nice
clean
hotel
but
not
worth
the
price
they
think
its
worth,
my
friend
booked
on
booking.com
last
year
for
the
practice
week
of
the
2022
TT.
Booking.com
had
2
rooms
for
2
people
@
£480
each
for
4
nights
Monday
to
Friday.
My
friend
rang
2
weeks
ago
to
confirm
the
booking
and
total
price
of
£960
and
that
we
could
pay
in
cash.
We
have
been
to
the
TT
practice
week
in
2016
2017
2018
and
now
2022
and
we
always
know
the
prices
are
inflated
for
the
TT
weeks.
Arrived
at
the
hotel
and
as
they
suggested
we
pay
the
bill
at
the
end
of
the
stay,
we
insisted
on
paying
cash
up
front
as
agreed
but
they
wanted
to
charge
us
both
£960
each!!
my
friend
said
no
way
are
we
paying
that
as
the
booking
stated
£960
total.
As
you
can
imagine
our
faces!!!
After
a
short
disagreement
with
the
receptionist
and
a
phone
call
to
her
manger
we
were
allowed
to
check-in
and
sort
the
problem
out
the
day
after.
The
day
after
the
manageress
was
very
rude
to
my
friend
and
reluctantly
let
us
have
the
rooms
at
the
stated
price
that
was
on
Booking.com
£960
for
4
nights?
absolutely
no
way
on
earth
would
I
ever
pay
that
for
4
nights.
£240
a
night?
why
so
expensive
I
would
like
to
know.
As
i
said
the
hotel
is
nice
and
clean
but
its
just
basic
not
much
better
than
a
Premier
Inn
room,
dim
lighting
as
there
was
no
natural
light
and
had
to
have
a
light
on
all
the
time
to
really
see
anything
and
a
balcony
that
didn't
really
serve
any
purpose
other
than
looking
into
the
atrium.
The
breakfast
was
nothing
special
either,
for
the
price
of
£960
i
would
expect
waiter
service
for
breakfast
but
it
was
a
very
simple
breakfast
buffet
where
you
cooked
your
own
toast
and
made
your
own
drinks
via
a
single
drinks
machine.
Seriously
if
people
pay
£240
a
night
at
this
hotel
they
must
have
more
money
than
sense,
i
would
only
say
its
a
2
to
3
star
hotel
at
most.
Starting
the
TT
visit
with
this
debacle
really
spoilt
the
stay
for
me,
i
felt
on
tenterhooks
all
the
time
and
could
never
feel
comfortable
in
the
hotel,
i
didn't
take
advantage
of
anything
on
offer
even
the
bottled
water
in
the
mini
fridge.
Sadly
this
will
be
my
last
trip
to
the
TT
as
its
getting
far
to
expensive,
shame
really
as
we
have
both
staying
in
better
hotels
at
the
Isle
of
Man
for
much
less
money
and
a
better
atmosphere.
Therefore
I
think
my
2
points
for
this
hotel
is
justified.
