I have stayed couple of months previously for my work and a month again now. Had to book one of those promenade hotels ( not cheap) for a week as no availability in Manning, trust me guys I have seen the difference. starting from cleanliness, lift access, air con, Bar, every thing is of very good standard at Manning. First place I will ever look for a stay if I am in douglas.

Really a great hotel. Friendly service, spacious rooms with superb facilities. Great breakfast available and served daily. A good option for dinner and a friendly bar in the lobby.

Hotel fine. Stayed in other hotels which preferred in area. Hard to put on finger why didn't completely click . Combination of multiple small things. Would probably prefer other hotels if went back.

We had an excellent stay at the Mannin hotel. The staff went out of their way to assist with any queries and did a great job with everything we asked of them. We booked 2 rooms and they were clean and spacious. Would highly recommend for a stay in Douglas

Pleasant, courteous and friendly staff, room (Executive /partial sea view) clean and very well appointed. Shower was excellent, bathroom with hot heated towel rail and plenty of towels provided. Bed was only a 7/10 for comfort with an attempt to rescue the failing mattress with a cheap "topper" and with cheap pillows it was a big let down for me, however, the bed linen was fresh and of good quality. Air conditioning in the room was a bonus as windows only open 6 inches (must be for safety / 4th floor). Be warned that walls are thin, as can be attested by the amorous couple on the same floor 😬 - but being so well appointed, there are earplugs supplied in the room 😆 breakfast "buffet style" with a supporting menu was pretty good by all accounts - Location is excellent but parking can be problematic if you have a car. 5 stars because overall it was a good place to stay and I'm sure I would do so again. Modern fresh hotel is a distinct contrast to the plethora of older (many tired feeling) traditional hotels on the Douglas waterfront. Prices however are pretty high for what it is.

It was a lovely stay. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Nothing was difficult for them. Lovely breakfast. Rooms are modern well decorated, well maintained and nicely equipped. You even have an iron machine in each room. Some rooms have a small kitchenette with microwave. These rooms have a small indoor terrace (which I found a bit awkward). Then you have room with part sea views which was lovely. Unfortunately these don't have a kitchenette. Forgot to mention beds are very comfortable but the pillow are a little bid hard in my opinion. It has also an internal parking which is a bit narrow. All in all very nice hotel with amazing staff. Definitely recommended.

I am a frequent business traveller to the Isle of Man and for several years have stayed at the Mannin Hotel. The Hotel is in a perfect location if you are there without a car public transport on the island is excellent and easily accessible from the Mannin. The accommodation is always spotlessly clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. I have stayed at other hotels on the island in the past and this one is by far the best I've stayed at.

Boxing day carvery meal, room for the night and breakfast the following morning. It was all superb. The staff were friendly, polite and professional, the food was top quality and such a choice, they even had non dairy options for breakfast. The room was good quality, clean and very well laid out and the window could be opened for a bit of air. The instructions for the air con were simple to follow. We bought this package as our Christmas present to each other. It was such a good present. The only thing that could have been improved was information about parking. There is a car park at the hotel but when we searched for parking on the internet the hotel carpark wasn't mentioned. We parked a fair way away and got soaked the next morning going back to the car.

We stayed at the beautiful Mannin Hotel on Saturday night after seeing a fabulous Tom Jones tribute act. The hotel is immaculately clean, the staff are wonderful and the food spectacular. We were made so welcome it was like coming home 🏘️. Thank you team Mannin, see you all again next month. Dorothy Burton.

A brand new hotel inside a Victorian shell. Clean, new, and comfortable. Hard to fault it, but the seating area in the bar was inadequate if it's busy.

The hotel, altho we chose it from a list was pre-booked for us on a package hols. Reception area was likeable - sort of a warm niceness. It felt good to step in and be instantly put at ease. We ate at the hotel at breakfast and in the evening. The food was delish, there was lots of it, (for me) looked freshly cooked and attention paid to the dishes. The staff members were friendly, courteous and attentive but discreet; what more can one ask for? Altogether, a very pleasant stay.

Friendly staff & clean. Good service. Can hear rooms next door... tv and bathroom. But would stay again. Location is perfect, two awesome restaurants for meat lovers within 2min walk

Early days for me just yet but so far so good. Just checked in for 7 days of hiking the hidden corners of the Isle of Man. The sun is shining and I am overlooking the bay in Douglas. Not a bad pastime on a Saturday morning in May I think.

Nice clean hotel but not worth the price they think its worth, my friend booked on booking.com last year for the practice week of the 2022 TT. Booking.com had 2 rooms for 2 people @ £480 each for 4 nights Monday to Friday. My friend rang 2 weeks ago to confirm the booking and total price of £960 and that we could pay in cash. We have been to the TT practice week in 2016 2017 2018 and now 2022 and we always know the prices are inflated for the TT weeks. Arrived at the hotel and as they suggested we pay the bill at the end of the stay, we insisted on paying cash up front as agreed but they wanted to charge us both £960 each!! my friend said no way are we paying that as the booking stated £960 total. As you can imagine our faces!!! After a short disagreement with the receptionist and a phone call to her manger we were allowed to check-in and sort the problem out the day after. The day after the manageress was very rude to my friend and reluctantly let us have the rooms at the stated price that was on Booking.com £960 for 4 nights? absolutely no way on earth would I ever pay that for 4 nights. £240 a night? why so expensive I would like to know. As i said the hotel is nice and clean but its just basic not much better than a Premier Inn room, dim lighting as there was no natural light and had to have a light on all the time to really see anything and a balcony that didn't really serve any purpose other than looking into the atrium. The breakfast was nothing special either, for the price of £960 i would expect waiter service for breakfast but it was a very simple breakfast buffet where you cooked your own toast and made your own drinks via a single drinks machine. Seriously if people pay £240 a night at this hotel they must have more money than sense, i would only say its a 2 to 3 star hotel at most. Starting the TT visit with this debacle really spoilt the stay for me, i felt on tenterhooks all the time and could never feel comfortable in the hotel, i didn't take advantage of anything on offer even the bottled water in the mini fridge. Sadly this will be my last trip to the TT as its getting far to expensive, shame really as we have both staying in better hotels at the Isle of Man for much less money and a better atmosphere. Therefore I think my 2 points for this hotel is justified.

😐 My mother brought me here on my recent trip home, the food is on the higher end so you would expect it to be spot on. My mum ordered a sirloin she was given a rump that was very tough and she couldn't eat (i managed it but still disappointing for her 😅). My sirloin was supposed to be rare but it wa...

👍👍 I loved the restaurant. The fajitas were delicious. It was a very friendly atmosphere, and this is also a sports bar with big TV screens to watch the games, etc. A bot serves food here. High tech, too.
