This is probably the best place to have dinner or hang with friends and family. Don’t let the front entrance fool you. Walking in will dismay your belief. Inside there is plenty of dining and waitresses are so helpful and friendly. Would I return, definitely yes, within a heart beat. The only draw back is the sound system. They need more speakers. Music played over system was good. Enjoy!!!

Great restaurant on the first floor. Prebooked a few days before. What ever you pick on the menu you will not be disappointed. Restaurant Manager also made us an "Old Fashioned" cocktail as a special request as it was not on the cocktail menu. Highly recommend this place the food all tastes great. There is also a carvery on a Sunday until 6pm.

Very busy lively restaurant, not pretentious and great food, waiters on the wine front could do better re letting you taste your wine before pouring and opening up the Prosecco! But food was delicious and no rushing you out of the place. Very busy bars below restaurant, so a full night out should you choose!

We loved this place so much we came here three times during our week long visit to Isle of Man. There are multiple stories, and it's a beautiful brick building. The alcoholic beverages here were made perfectly and the bar tenders were absolutely fantastic. Your food arrives by robot and I absolutely recommend the spaghetti carbonara. We will definitely be back here if we get to visit the Isle of Man again!!

I loved the restaurant. The fajitas were delicious. It was a very friendly atmosphere, and this is also a sports bar with big TV screens to watch the games, etc. A bot serves food here. High tech, too.

This bar was a lot of fun, we only had drinks, no food but everyone was friendly and service was really. Great location and fun animated clock out first makes this a must see.

Fantastic service and food yesterday and today. I was visiting with my friend and we were looked after so well by Fernando for our small private lunch in the bar - and the carvery on Sunday was delicious. A spacious venue with a good menu choice, great quality food and a personal feel. Thank you to the whole team. I look forward to visiting again next time I visit.

Our third time here and it was delicious every time! Waitresses and hostesses are always nice and accommodating. It does get pretty busy during brunch time and have to wait and be seated and the food take long to come out which is understandable. Will come back again.

We arrived at 19.50 the kitchen closes at 19.45, yet they still made us the most delicious mash and Southern chicken strips with a peppercorn sauce and a fish and chips. Staff super friendly and helpful. Live singer on until 9.30 who's really funny. Great evening and its literally 2mins away from the Premier Inn

Pub grub is lovely and they do a seriously good milkshake their own way!! Giant sports screen ,Biggest I've seen.nice chatty bar staff.made me feel welcome.well worth a visit and there's seating outside too.

A favourite of mine from my trip to Douglas. I enjoyed the atmosphere which was lively but not rowdy. The staff were actually fabulous, talkative and approachable and clearly work hard to keep the place clean and tidy. I had some food and a beer and read a book. The food was on the pricier side I felt as far as Bar and grill food goes, which I don't mind if it delivers, which 1886 certainly did. Very pleasant hour to unwind.

The bar was really open and welcoming. Really friendly staff. Brilliantly made cocktails. The restaurant on the floor up was very different from the downstairs. Great food, the waitress was excellent. Clean, quick service, chilled vibe.

Food was fantastic but service poor. For a 'lunch hour' we pre ordered our food. Order was taken for drinks as soon as we arrived but we weren't asked again. Food delivered 35 mins after table booked and we were 2 meals short and had to ask for them after 5+ mins where the other meals were getting cold. No-one apologised or came to check we were ok after those meals were served. Will be back as the food was excellent but will chase the staff for service next time when it should be natural for them to do this.

On business in the IOM, came here on a Tuesday night for casual drinks and stayed for food. Spacious sports bar with a varied food menu. Ended up with tapas style food as we couldn't decide what to eat... Korean bbq chicken with honey chilli was really nice! Food came to us by this cute little robot... Overall bar staff were friendly and helpful and place is casual bar with a huge screen for sports.

I met the most adorable pup at this establishment. I love that this is a dog friendly restaurant. They have a robot that brings your food to your table. Super cool idea. It's a big place, very impressive. The food was incredibly good! Our chef Alex served the best Sunday carvery.

I think this is the biggest and most crowded pub in the Isle of Man. I have been here twice and enjoyed my time. The pub is usually crowded and it might take time to get your drinks. They also have live music on Friday nights(Maybe other nights too, I was there on Friday) and it is really fun :) Also, the food was good too. I liked the starter with roasted chees and camembert, and loved the burger(unfortunately don't have a picture of it) but the buffet is not that exciting! Suggest trying burgers here :)

Dropped in for an afternoon drink,we were served by a very friendly waiter. Good selection of beer and spirits. If you are interested in sports this is a go-to bar. I would imagine it's very lively at night. We did not eat in this bar.

Great food here. With a visit but advise booking ahead. Caters for large groups, can get quite noisy. I'd say don't go if your looking for a quieter romantic meal

Can't falter the place. Not only are the food standard high, at night it's a nightclub, during the day the downstairs it's also a pub with football showing. I recommend the cheese burger and the pork belly (which is included in the Sunday roast!) overall whether you are here for a night out, for a meal or a pint to watch the football, you can't go wrong! The Mrs loves it!

Good place, good atmosphere, good staff and nice drinks. They have a wide range of alcoholic drinks. They have my favourite dark cyder, they also have a lot of screens for watching sports. The location is really nice, at the promenade, there is parking nearby. Music is okay, everything was cleant and tidy. If I could improve something, It would be the decoration as is so regular, I would like a decoration with much more personality. I would also change the glass for Gintonics, as it is awful. Apart of that, really nice and amazing place.

Can be very noisy on a Friday night. Great price, not much choice on larger and bitter but some great cocktails and generally a very nice place to be for a night out.

World class venue; pub, restaurant, cocktail lounge and function room. This place is huge and caters to every sort of going out occasion. Spacious and vibey, definitely worth the visit.
