Sunday carvery is served from noon til late. It is a lavish selection of meat choices and accompaniments. If you allow the carver, they will serve you more meat than you can handle. You serve yourselves the accompaniments and gravy. There are also several different sauces to enjoy with the meats. They serve both quantity and quality. We enjoyed it all very much.

The bar was good on the Friday night. So headed back on the Saturday afternoon for some food before getting the boat back. Great feed.

Excellent place to eat & have a pre-drink downstairs. Had pre-booked on-line & our comments had been read & granted too. Lovely member of staff (Monica) who looked after us and the other girls were very attentive too to making sure we didn’t need anything. The food was delicious, compliments to the Chef! We had fillet steak and a mixed grill. The meat just melted in your mouth. Thank you so much for looking after us - see you next year xxxxx

Admittedly, I went during the day so there wasn't much of an atmosphere (no one around!). However, the food was excellent and I would go again.

Great friendly service , amazing food , the gravy sauce was to die for .. shared a wing bucket ,wishes I could eat it all myself but too much..

Had the ribeye and made the mis-"steak" of ordering ribs!!! Both were awesome, as well as the Mac n cheese! Finished it off with a "make your own" sundae.

Absolutely love this spot We spent most of our weekend here, 2 weekends ago. Food was amazing Staff were fantastic especially as we landed in without a booking looking for a table for 9. They were so accomadating, food was top notch, I had the chicken wrap plus sides & the cocktails were gorgeous. I had many frozen strawberry daquri. We also headed downstairs to the late bar afterwards. Another great experience. A great buzz especially the 80's night on Saturday and the bar staff were great, Ollie, Stephan and Conor to name a few. The bouncers on both nights were great too as we had an issue with a lad spilling all our drinks and he was causing us trouble, bouncers were straight on it. Highly recommend both places. Cant wait to return next year

Visited Jaks on our first afternoon we hadn't booked but staff very friendly and accommodated us and found a table for us. We chose the Sunday carvery which I can categorically say is the best we've ever had,good amount of meat carved and served with Yorkshire pud and roasters all other veg and dressings where self served.

Friday 30th June lunch time .Very difficult and set her ways middle aged staff lady who was just awkward and difficult about everything. I should have just paid for my non alcohol drink and left as felt very uncomfortable from the start but anyway stayed. Food was OK perhaps the burger was too dry ( did not finish) but experience was ruined and lesson learned for next time. Also said included a side but was billed for a side. ( did not fancy the confrontation and noticed after I paid so didn't fancy the confrontation.) If I ever encounter service like that again I will just leave. I will not be returning! Very unwelcome experience contray to my other experiences in IOM.

Amazing place to watch sports! Best place on the island. They have two large screens and several smaller ones. They do really nice food, but I find their regular chips are soggy. Would recommend the ribs, pork belly, or sweet potato chips. Beer selection is varied in terms of brands, but is mostly lager.

Here on holiday, needed food. This place really is an worth checking, I enjoyed my Mexican burger very much indeed. The prices are just above my usual limit though I understand why they're higher. Very tasty burger, very good service, very enjoyable. My quibble, and it's minor, is about a singer starting up on the stage coinciding with most of the lights being switched off, so I felt that I was being made to eat in the dark! Don't let this tiny thing put you off. Jak's seemed very popular and busy, the food was spot on, my pint was lovely. Recommended.

Had a great time here on Saturday night. The band were excellent although didn't catch their name, had everyone up on the floor dancing. The only flaw was the sticky dance floor, my shoes nearly stuck to the floor. Would definitely be back

Good variety of drinks, they have my favourite cyder, the fruity one. Good service, they are friendly and they work efficiently. Everything was cleant and tidy. There is live music sometimes and they also have big screens everywhere for watching sports, football, basket, pool... The food is also delicious, I recommend fried potatoes with pulled pork and mustard sauce. It was really nice.

This is my favorite place to stop for ribeye Steak during the TT , Don't think you can book a reservation only walk-ins which isn't bad just pick your time wisely 😉. Also the Skillet of chips is massive so one between two people is sufficient, pitty the staff didn't tell me. Anyway the steaks were amazing cooked beautifully.

Very busy Friday night, tables coming in and out. Music in bar downstairs. Big tables in. Huge plates of steak, chips coming out. I enjoyed starter chilli in a mug (had as main). Daughter waffle & chicken dippers, maple syrup. A first! Tasty yet strange combo. Partner had burger & pulled pork on skillet of chips. Too much food!! Service generally 👍

We were just expecting standard bar food from this place but we were honestly so impressed. All of the food was tasty and the portion was incredible, would definitely recommend the belly pork. The service was also very friendly, can't wait to go back!

Trendy bar downstairs and restaurant upstairs with great views of the bay/harbour out of the front windows. Food portions are enormous!!! Staff were friendly and great with our kids. Great food selection and kids menu as well. Draft beer was decent.

Super atmosphere, beer and music. Not tried the food since it changed to a smokehouse from a steak house. Lamb no longer on the menu so don't know if I will.

Went for a carvery but the restaurant was full so sat in the bar. Pleasant surroundings and nice staff. You get loads of meat! The roast potatoes weren't crispy enough for me, but that's personal preference. Overall a lovely meal

This is a great place to eat. Fantastic views of the bay, great atmosphere and delicious food. Good sized portions. Making a reservation online was very easy. 10/10

Now, this place. Wow! I'm reluctant to post the review it deserves, because I might not get a seat again! The waiter was absolutely top notch and recommended a rib eye steak. This steak..... the memories of the mind bending flavour will last a long time. If I lived on the IOM I'd be in there twice a week. The steak was so good it made my eyes roll back as it melted in my mouth. Incredible food and service. Really. Cannot rave about it enough. The bar downstairs is great too!

Food was very nice , so was the cocktails The only down side was it was very very loud. You could not hear a thing. You even had to shout at the staff to order your food

Best rump steak I've had in a long time. Restaurant was quite enough to have good conversation, great food in a nice relaxed environment. Staff attentive to your needs, drinks promptly served to the table. Highly recommended trying it out for yourself. Gladly go back again.
