Very convenient hotel on seafront in Douglas. Nicely decorated and clean. Modern bathroom and huge bed. The daily cakes were good and good breakfast. Only downside was no heating in bedroom. There was not evening meal option every night

Fantastic location, super rooms and excellent staff, what more can you ask for. A big shout out to Annette and Emma? who were superb. I can also recommend the Reubens sandwich with home made pastrami, proper melt in the mouth stuff.

Small twin room 2.5m wide, Ā£900 for 4 nights! No room cleaning and the tea tray was not topped up at all. Breakfast was ok the waitress was very good. No draught beers in the bar 'because she's very particular about their condition' & we had to walk past the hoover on the stairs all our stay. Views at the front are amazing but the brick wall 1.5m from our window was not.

Just had a lovely 4 day break there. Very impressed with the room which was a Seaview double . Had comfy reclining chairs by the the huge bay window, perfect to take in the fabulous views. Huge TV and lots of tech available. We didn't use the dining facilities this time but have in the past which were excellent. The staff were all very helpful and polite and professional. Will definitely be back again!

Used the gaming room (PS5 / XBox/ PC's and loads of games pre installed) for a kids party, they had a blast! Good food for them afterwards too. Helpful staff when the kids had issues on the consoles.

Arrived Friday 15th sept and was greeted by a lovely lady who was very friendly.this is where their niceness ends. We went out for dinner and came back at 22:30 we asked for a drink and was told by a very abrupt and rude lady we are going home we are not 24 hours. I said jokingly itā€™s not even 11 to which I was told tough. The hotel gives you 1 pillow per person which is very thin they then charge you Ā£1.70 per extra pillow per night. If you want an extra towel itā€™s Ā£1:90 a night and if you would like your room serviced well you guessed it you have to pay extra Ā£5 a day extra. The room was ok beds were comfy but couldnā€™t sleep as the headboards wasnā€™t attached to the bed properly so they banged on the wall every time you moved. The lampshade was that dirty it struggled to allow light through. The location is good but the service we received was subpar I visit the island regularly and can say I will not be staying in this hotel again. Expensive, rude staff, all round bad experience

Tiny ā€œstandardā€ rooms and beds, airplane-sized bathrooms, lamp didnā€™t work, loud outside noise every night, heater set too hot & couldnā€™t adjust it, no hot water for 2 days, very low water pressure, many, many stairs to get to rooms. Couldnā€™t lock your room door from the inside. Terrible place! The only thing that was good was the cleaning crew. The room was clean, but miserably uncomfortable otherwise. Beware of places like this that demand payment in full two weeks ahead of reservation.

Firstly let me say that is a very well located hotel right on the promanade, with bus services close by and the main shops a couple of hundred metres away. It is of an older design so has steps up to reception and at a guess most of it is not very wheelchair friendly. Hoeever, it offers great value rooms that are pretty decent in size. Ours did not have a sea view, but others did. Our room was pretty well appointed for the money that we paid with tea/coffee making facilities and a reasonable TV. Breakfast Mon-Sat is a hot buffet with some reasonable quality ingredients. On Sunday it appears to be cooked to order. Nothing appeared too much trouble for them. Eg. Making wholemeal bacon sandwiches. The staff all round are excellent. A lady even waited for us to check in after major delays with our evening flight to the Island. The staff are also both friendly and helpful. Very good local knowledge about tourist sites, local eateries and the like. It also has a decent bar at the front of the building where the bar staff make you feel welcome. Brilliant value for money. A perfectly decent staff with welcoming staff in a historic building which has been well modernised.

Business trip with a 1 night room only stay. Room was on the top floor but was lovely, clean & with all necessary essentials & drink making facilities. Decent en-suite facilities with roomy shower & large towels were provided. Large dual aspect opening windows. Hotel is on the seafront promenade just a few minutes from the docks, overlooking the bay.

It was worth the slight splurge to stay in the seaview south room! The room was so lovely we wanted to spend more time in our room. Our favorite part was the comfy lounge chairs in the large bay window. It was a nicely decorated room and the hotel was very conveniently located. A nice breakfast spread in the mornings.

The attention to detail, the enormous, incredibly comfortable bed, beautiful, well equipped rooms, fabulous staff, best breakfast ever. Everything about this hotel has a warm, friendly, welcoming feel. Thank you Paul, Pauline and staff.

Probably the best choice of hotel on the island. I stayed in a fine room with a wide view of the harbour - some large lounge chairs set for relaxed contemplation. Must be the thick carpet making the rooms quiet at night but most likely the mattresses. A perfect sleep.

One of our favourite places to stay along the sea front. Excellent french restaurant and the staff are lovely. Will be back.

Was told we were in room 21 on the first floor, room was actually on the top floor at the top of 6 flights of stairs. Fine for us, but anyone with mobility issues you need to specify a first floor or ground floor room. During our three night stay our room wasn't cleaned/towels replaced. The first morning when the cleaner came we were still preparing to attend a wedding, but every other morning we were out of the room, towels in the bath as suggested and "please clean" sign left on the door. The weird thing is that they left a cake and biscuit each day, so they were entering the room. The room had plenty of facilities (ironing board, iron, hairdryer) and whilst the TV remote was a bit broken it worked ok. Breakfast was included but we only went once as the quality wasn't the best. Plenty of breakfast cafes nearby in Douglas though. Very difficult to park outside or close to the hotel, you're likely going to have to park far down the prom or at the car park by the sea terminal, again, limited mobility guests will need to consider this. If you're a foot passenger on the boat then you'll be fine.
