We stayed at Silvercraigs in June for that TT race week. Our hosts, Stewart and Marie, made us feel right at home! Clean, comfortable rooms with great views! From morning until evening the sun shone through the windows into our room! Lots of activity on the promenade right outside our window! A short 10 minute walk to the TT grandstand and many eating and drinking establishments close by made the location perfect for our trip. We are already making plans for our return visit next June!

Cancelled a booking for six people after full payment was sent. Now claiming they want more money for us to have the same rooms. If this is Manx hospitality I do not think I want to come.

The hotel is very well situated on the Promenade. It is fresh and clean. The room was small but big enough for two of us and it was a budget room. Very good value for money. Close to bus stops, the horse drawn tram, a good local cafe and a good hotel bar with cask beers! Would definitely stay there again.

The building is right along the promenade and across a bus stop, making its location ideal for travelling in and out of Douglas. It’s barely a couple minutes from the railway. The hotel itself was lovely and cosy, all floors accessible by a tiny lift. The rooms we stayed in were small, but not cramped. You could just sink into the beds after a nice hot shower. I’m pretty obsessive about rooms being clean and was delighted to find that everything was spotless. It’s definitely worth the price and I’ll definitely be coming back here if I’m ever back in Douglas.

Very clean, great location, only 15 minutes walk to Douglas town centre and the ferry terminal. The owner is lovely and very friendly. The hotel is very dated but you definitely get more than you pay for. Very comfy beds, tea, coffee, sugar and milk in your room. A tv, shower, toilet, towels, hairdryer and plenty of space to hang and store you stuff. We had a double room so it was 23 pound each a night. Well worth the money. 🙂

We stayed at Silvercraigs guest house for 4 days whilst staying in the I,O,M and couldn’t be happier. There was three single beds in the room which was fantastic, just what we needed. The rooms are clean and stocked up with tea and coffee daily at no extra charge. We will DEFINITELY use them again, the host is an absolute star. Joe-Davey- and David.

Please find here a hotel in the Victorian style in a central location and a absolutely lovely view over the sea. But not the view, the elevator, the English breakfast or the building are the best of this place, the best is the polite, helpful, trustworthy and reliable and friendly hotel manager „Stuart“ who will always help you in any case and always has a friendly word for you. Thank you, we enjoyed to stay the second time in your hotel and will appreciate to come back in future.

Very welcoming, although the building is old it is very pleasant. We were welcomed with a complimentary soft drink and our romm was upgraded. We had a 2nd floor room with a large bay window looking right onto the sea and the promenade! The room was very clean and the bed was really comfortable, we stayed for 2 nights and the cost was very reasonable. If visiting Douglas again we would definately book with Silvercraigs again. We found the staff to be very friendly.
