Had an excellent stay here. The staff were outstanding. So helpful and made me feel so welcome. John and Ryan from reception couldn't do enough and also Ros Kim john and the chef james. What an asset to the premier inn they all made my stay so enjoyable I'm looking forward to my next stay in a couple of weeks. Working away from home can be difficult at times but not when this people are looking after you. Can't praise them enough

Couldn't rate it high enough. Nothing is too much for the staff and they are all chatty and friendly. We arrived very early after a super early ferry crossing and stopped to enquire about early check in (11am). They went out their way to get a room sorted and well before the expected time. Supplied coffee's too which were much needed after 26hrs awake! Superb team and premises

This Premiere Inn is in a superb location in the center of Douglas a few minutes from the promenade. It's right opposite a Marks and Spencer food hall. I stayed 2 nights in a Premier Plus room in November 2023. I was on the 5th floor with views across the bay. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was a small fridge with complimentary bottled water. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided together with an iron and ironing board. The bed was large and comfortable. I paid for the full buffet breakfast, which is available on the ground floor. It was excellent and you won't leave wanting for anything. The staff were all very helpful and polite. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Great location and what a brilliant staff team who have been really helpful in so many ways. Comfy and quiet rooms, and so close to everything you need in the centre of Douglas. Good breakfast and the dinner we had here was above our expectations.

Ideal location, great value for money and good breakfast area. The room was very clean, warm and suited our needs. The friendly staff were excellent too and provided a top service. I'd go back again no problem. I'm a big believer in getting what you pay for and some of the negative reviews on here are out of order. If you want a 5 star product then get your hand in your pocket. The IOM Premier Inn was well worth every penny.

Jack, Elizabeth and Cody - stand out staff members who looked after us and genuinely felt honest and real connections- staff all went above and beyond like we’ve never experienced in a premier inn before. Bfast was good, reliable. Dinner was great- really relaxed and friendly and really enjoyed the food. As a disabled guest, my only issue is lack on on site parking - one of us would have to get up c7am everyday to move car and sort out parking which was an inconvenience but not the fault of the hotel (they 100% helped out). We will absolutely be back and would not stay anywhere else when we come back to the island. Can not sing praises of the team enough. Thank you for making a massive difference to our stay.

We loved our stay in this premier inn. So handy to everywhere and the breakfasts were fantastic. The beds were so comfy and we had everything we would want from a hotel. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming. Special shout out to Shanice who asked us how our day had been and what we had planned for the next day. We look forward to a return trip. Ignore old reviews as the new management has turned this place around. Parking: we parked in the Chester Street car park because after 6pm you could pay for the whole day ahead (Β£6.80).

Great staff very helpful and friendly Carole and Hayley went the extra mile to please. Had and 86 year old with us and heating kept going off and didn't work at all in the first room we were placed in so we were moved and the staff checked on us regularly to make sure we were happy. And kept turning heating back on. Staff always smiling deserve a payrise or bonus

Shocking. Arrived to find that my bathroom toilet had been left in a disgusting state. Was 10pm so no cleaning staff so did it myself. Then got in the shower, no shower gel in the dispenser. Only one towel. No hand towel of floor towel. Complained to management and was offered a drink as a way of an apology and then a room Upgrade a little later, which I politely refused. Next day, still no shower gel in dispenser and then sat down to have a meal (meal deal) and ordered a lager shandy. Shift manager said I had to pay for the lemonade? I have stayed here so many times and have never been charged for this before. Had a lager shandy night before and no problem, same as everyotber time. What's changed? First time I've felt really disappointed with Premier Inn.

The hotel is pretty clean and tidy and in good condition. However the service was abysmal quite honestly some of the worst I've seen from any of the premier Inns I've stayed at. On check in I waited quite sometime as staff were confused by another booking and also trying to man the restaurant. Once in my room I would have a shower before dinner, this is when I discovered my bath drain was blocked, then watch TV before my booking for dinner I then discovered the TV signal didn't work for most channels. And as I had been moved to a premier plus room I didn't have any coffee pods. Went down to dinner and let the staff know of the issues they said it would all be sorted next day. Went for dinner ordered and waited quite some time for what was really not a busy room food was ok. Went out to work next day returned and found coffee pods filled coffee machine and found it leaked everywhere. Went for a Shower before dinner found the drain still blocked and TV not working. Down for dinner again and told there's be about a 20 min wait for food sat down and waited played on my phone for 50 mins and still no one came to take my order when another guest was complaining he had been waiting over an hour for his food I decided to also get up and leave. Probably wouldnt stay again.

First time we stayed here, great location to the town, shops, cafe's. Pitty about no draught larger! Apparently not been able to get hold of any for 18 months! Not their fault, the brewery not being able to deliver πŸ˜’ πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ Breakfast tip top as usuall. Their evening meal deal was, well, only OK Would have liked 🐟 & 🍟 but no fish! Need to get a permanent Chef as sometimes the cook turned up when he felt like it! and staff were having to step in and cook, but it is only ping food, so not that great anyway. The staff were great, doing their best to accomodate, nothing was too much trouble when you asked for extra towels, milk e.t.c overall we had an enjoyable comfortable stay and the price is good, would recommend πŸ‘

Fantastic 3 night stay while our friends daughter got married from the moment we arrived at 11pm the staff were friendly and very helpful. The lady on the desk chatted to my little lady about the breakfast options for the following morning. Room was big enough for the four of us.Having only 5 floors was good as it wasn't a huge hotel. Stayed on the 4 the floor view overlooking the bay along with a car park but it's better than a brick wall like some hotels. Breakfast was explained on our first morning although we have been to a few premier inns. Would stay here again as the proximity to the ferry terminal is a ten minute walk

Staff really friendly and helpful. We were delayed a day by Storm barbet. Arranged so we could stay in same room under new booking. Great breakfast. Standard Premier Inn room layouts. Be warned no onside parking.

I stayed here on business. John who works on nights is such an asset to the hotel. He is extremely helpful and efficient in the morning when I arrive for breakfast and any concerns I have with my room he will follow it up as soon as he can. His professional manner is always the same and always makes my stay enjoyable.

The beds are really comfortable and the rooms are reasonably sized but not big (we were in a family room which might explain it). The staff were really nice. It's very centrally located but it's down a weird backstreet.

I want to comment about this mornings breakfast. The food was good but the service was exceptional by Shenice. As a former hospitality worker myself it was interesting to notice that she never stopped working and noticed all jobs that needed doing that had perhaps been missed by others. On the whole the experience was good by all staff. Thank you!

Brilliant hotel. Felt so welcomed on arrival. We had breakfast and dinner and they tasted lovely. The staff are non stop tidying and checking people are ok. We stayed for a week and our room was kept lovely and fresh by the cleaners. The only negatives were, we had marks up the bathroom wall, we mentioned to a staff member can it please be cleaned. When we come back later that evening the room was cleaned but not the marks. ( I cleaned it myself ) Blinds in eating area are dusty. ( only know as my daughter pulled them and saw the dust. ) But regardless of these little things, I would 100% return, this is one of the best premier inns I have ever been too. Staff 5***** Rooms 5***** Thanks πŸ’ͺ🏻

Maxine and Jo - Always on hand to help out and for us got to know the customers so they have been our stand out members of staff. Nothing was too much trouble and any issues sorted straight away - Maxine was available even before we arrived to help us with our case we sent before arriving as came over on the motorcycle for the TT and made sure we stayed in the same room even though we made multiple bookings - Staff all went above and beyond like we’ve never experienced in a premier inn before. Really relaxed and friendly atmosphere and really enjoyed the food. Jo always had a smile on and got to know his customers and even our drinks order lol. We will absolutely be back and would not stay anywhere else when we come back to the island. Can not sing praises of the team enough. Thank you for making a massive difference to our stay.

I just love my room, big, spacious and wit a view to the sea! Curtains are perfect, don't let any light in, perfect for a good night sleep, in a very very comfy king size bed. And the shower, soo good, comes lots of water. If you don't want the shower, then you can enjoy the bath tub. Just pop over at TK Max and grab some owsome bath salts and across the street to M&S for some wine. Just perfect stay. πŸ₯°

Room was nice and tidy, they had made up the two children's beds for us prior to arrival. Service was excellent, we needed multiple taxis during our stay and they were all booked as requested. When my daughter couldn't reach the sink, they found a stool for her and a separate hand-wash. Always friendly and very helpful.

One of the few chain hotels in the Isle of Man and certainly one of the safest options for Britons used to the Premier Inn experience. Quite new building, great facilities and great breakfast buffet.

The staff can't do enough for you. Rooms clean, infact, its ALL spotless. We could bring our bikes into the room, which is fantastic and is one of the main reasons we choose Premier Inns. Breakfast is amazing. All cooked freed and plenty of Danish, like croissant, pain au chocolate to choose from. Yogurts, crumpets, full English, pancakes, make your own stacks. Coffee, juices all there. Fantastic. Well worth the Β£9.99 Love it here and its in a brilliant location, just a short walk/ride from the ferry. Its really quiet too

Not the best Premier Inn I have stayed in. Great location in the middle of town but totally air conditioned so you can't open the windows which wouldn't bother everyone but certainly bothers me! I'm not keen on artificial smells or air and was not happy about not being able to open the window to properly air the room of the smell of cleaning products. All the staff were super friendly and welcoming but the lack of fresh air would stop me staying there again

Friendly staff and convenient location. WiFi is non-existent and kept cutting out, however this is pretty normal across all PI hotels. No hand wash/shower gel in my room and the room it self didn’t have the greatest of smells when entering. Shame a few things let the experience down, as this is no reflection on how great the staff are.

Fell really short of what I know it should of Having previously worked 3 years for Premier inn I expected alot better. I had a stay of 3 nights and an added 1 night all in the same room. No servicing of the room was done at all, I had only 1 bath towel and a bath mat, no hand towels, no replenishment of coffee etc in the 5 days, no change of bed linen after the first booking ended and the new 1 night was paid for. I had to ask for towels, the bin was full and toilet paper dispenser was empty so just a loose roll left on unit worktop. The breakfast was 2 out of 10. Every morning it was Luke warm, cold mushrooms! Why, well 2 lamps were out on the hot lamp shelf and the A\C was blowing cold air across the buffet. Not once out of 4 breakfasts was it satisfactory. The berrie mix for the fruit was frozen everyday !, no yoghurts on final morning, and to cap it all the coffee machine was dispensing turned milk ..... Picture to prove, I have always spoke highly of P.I. but was troubled on my first day when in the lift speaking to 2 others who asked about my room etc, I explained I had only been there 4 hours, they were saying they had been there 5 days and no room servicing and had complained twice. Now I know when I worked for P.I. brand standards were high, this stay fell well short, if the GNG was still running I would have been claiming, I have never done a review like this and that includes below par foreign hols. Since checked TripAdvisor and these sort of problems have been going on a long time. Been no response from premier Inn

Great staff probably one of the best Premier Inns I've stayed in nothing was too much trouble for them. Location is good only down side is there's no parking on site, there is a car park about 5mins walk away but it's a Β£6.80 a day charge to leave your car there. Food in the restaurant was 1st class for a Premier Inn.

I was very surprised how one, the room was very good (I got upgraded to the plus room, I didn’t even know this existed)and two, how the staff went above and beyond and how friendly and welcoming they were. I would highly recommend!

Great weekend girls trip to the IOM. Great premier inn close to all bars, shops and bus station. Rooms spotlessly clean and the staff are all lovely and helpful

To have a comfortable nights sleep in the middle of Douglas just a stone's throw away from the venue is really good. The whole place was clean and tidy. The room was the standard room with the basic necessities. Unfortunately there was an issue with the heating and it was very very hot in the building plus the Aircon in our room was making a whining noise. Went to reception at 2 in the morning and the night security came to the room and agreed that it was quite a loud noise but they were full so couldn't reroom us. They said that other people had commented about the heat. After a while the heat did seem to reduce and although there was still the whine, we did manage to get a bit of sleep. Breakfast, hubby had full English which he said was warm not hot. I had chosen the continental but as there was no alternative choice to dairy products I couldn't have the cereal and dry toast was about it or dry crumpet. Even the yoghurts were dairy. So for a vegetarian who can't eat dairy it was a bit lacking and for Β£8, it was a bit bad.

Stayed for 3 nights room was clean food was great , The hotel was so under staffed but the staff they did have were rushed off there feet , however they couldn’t of done more nothing was too much trouble always happy to help and one lady went above and beyond to help us the staff 100% made it a lovely weekend

Great location and friendly staff especially Jo who went above and beyond their duties. They where checking people in, serving at bar, waiting on tables at restaurants while also dealing with customer who was complaining about wine they had picked btw, they are credit to premier inn(maybe need pay rise or more staff to help). Jo you was amazing πŸ’‹

Very conveniently located near the main shopping street in Douglas, with a fantastic team always on hand to help with a friendly smile - great experience and we'll be back again on our annual trip!

Excellent hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, even when easyJet let us down at the last second, they extended our stay. Jo and Louise are a credit to the company, they served us in the restaurant every night and you can tell they care so much about their guests. The whole team do. The room was absolutely spotless and the bed was the most comfortable bed that I have slept in. The only one downside is that the shower would not be the best for someone is disabled. There are bars on the bath itself but if they wanted a shower, there is no bar on the wall to help people get out as the shower is in the bath. If I could rate the hotel more than 5 stars on here, I would so 5+⭐.

Utter disappointment. I went here for a relaxing night away from home to relax and unwind, and as soon as I turn the television off to go to sleep, I began to hear a banging sound from the next room over, then I began to realise very quickly that it was 2 guests having very loud and aggressive intercourse and was kept awake until 3AM. I was very upset by this as it was meant to be a relaxing night away from my 2 children, Rufus and Amelia. All My Love, Lesley J Chase

I'd take no notice of the negative reviews. I've just spent a week here and the staff were brilliant, helpful and went out of the way to make sure my staff was comfortable. Restaurant is good enough with the brekkie perfect every morning. Evening meals were good with a great choice. Speak to Kim as she knows a secret menu item when I couldn't decide what I wanted. Room was clean and just as you would expect from a premier inn. Overall it's a cracking place and location wise. Parking can be an issue but if your clever and park after 5.30 when the traffic wardens have gone home you've got till 8am to park.

Went for breakfast. All you can eat. Staff very accommodating, food excellent. Happily go again. Very reasonably priced too.

Room was fine but service let it down. WiFi signal was intermittent and kept dropping out. Worst bit was the day we checked out the chef hadn't turned up for breakfast. Staff knew we needed to check out but would not offer a refund for the breakfast they couldn't provide
