Actually
a
pretty
good
value
compared
to
other
low-end
hotels
(I
paid
NT$700
for
a
double).
An
amusing
relic
of
past
decades,
with
some
unique
character.
Run
down,
but
barely
anything
is
actually
broken,
and
the
shower
was
really
comfortable.
The
hallways
smelled
funny,
but
my
room
was
fine.
Nice
view
of
the
city's
central
traffic
circle
(a
bit
noisy,
but
nice
for
watching
life
go
by).
Drinking
water
dispensers
in
the
hallway,
I
think
on
every
floor.
👍
I
don't
think
there
was
wifi.
The
biggest
inconvenience
(in
the
summer)
is
that
the
air
conditioning
can't
be
adjusted
and
isn't
very
cold
-
the
room
is
connected
to
a
central
cooling
system,
and
was
fairly
hot
when
a
first
checked
in,
then
about
26-27°
C
for
the
rest
of
the
night
and
morning.
The
desk
staff,
an
elderly
man,
was
very
impatient
with
me,
not
always
present,
and
dismissive
of
my
concerns,
but
hey,
it's
part
of
the
experience.
