Visiting the area and this place def stood out on google reviews. So I’ll come back to the Scrapple. The places aesthetics were great, like diners in jersey. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was all friendly and my waitress Cheryl was wonderful. I loved how personable she was. Next, the menu! There were your regular run of the mill diner options which is always reassuring. Then i saw on the menu, Scrapple. As many times as I’ve been to philly and Delaware, ive never noticed it on the menu let Alone I’ve never had of it. Actually, scrapple I’ve heard guys refer to as a special basketball game amongst few people in Paterson. Scrapple! I asked her about it and had to order it. I’ve had some wild stuff throughout my life, and loving food, i gotta try it all. The outside was crisp and easy to cut with my fork. Inside soft. Now the consistency and taste is not for everyone! My son has texture issues, so i say with confidence, if you didn’t grow up eating it or similar foods, like potted meat, or liver mush (South Carolina) then you may not like it. I was fine with it. Neither love nor hate it. However that doesn’t take away from the great experience you’ll have and enjoy the wonderful food, decor and energy at the diner.

It's a place that brings back history of your childhood. Great memories. I grew up eating at this dinner. To have it returned unchanged with great food and great service. Just what a dinner is to be. Plus they grind their coffee beans fresh for the coffee every pot! Don't miss this opportunity of history brought back to life.

Went for the Thanksgiving buffet and for the amount they charged it was worth it. Turkey was very moist just wish that the ham was maybe spiral or off the bone. Otherwise everything else was on point ribs was good.

Stopped for breakfast. The server was good. Never asked if I wanted more coffee so a star off for that. . The food good. We got an omelet and some grits, toast, and sausage and scrapple. The sausage was not the typical breakfast sausage but it was OK. The rest of the food was good.

I always enjoy my time at Dover Hollywood Diner. The food is delicious. The service is good. The atmosphere is okay. At times, they are a little off in service and the taste of certain foods. All together, we enjoy dining there.

Food was plentiful. I ordered the Tackler meal, the wife ordered pancakes. Everything was cooked the way I like it. The sausage links were juicy. My server Amanda was very helpful and polite.
