My wife and I had breakfast at Fat Dog Kitchen recently and we absolutely loved it! The servers were prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable about their menu. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The dog themed decorations helped set the tone of a casual, laid back environment to enjoy a good meal with friends and family in. The food was excellent, we loved everything we got! The breakfast poutine was our standout favorite, then potatoes were cooked beautifully and the sausage gravy it was served with was to die for. The prices were also very reasonable and the portions were plentiful, in total we spent $72 with tip. Very reasonable for 2 pastries, 3 entrees, and beverages. We will absolutely be back to this wonderful establishment.

My husband got the special and I got the Danny Boy bowl. Both were absolutely delicious. We fortunately didn't have to wait for a table but would have waited 45 minutes. Our server, Ashley, was just the right amount of happy. She was adorable, attentive and just over all wonderful. THIS was worth the trip.

Fat dog is a MUST when in Dover for brunch or breakfast. It is a small restaurant with both indoor and some outdoor seating. Seating is first come, first serve, and you'll want to catch someone at the counter to be seated or get on the list. Specials in many restaurants can be hit or miss, especially for breakfast, but at Fat Dog, they are a must for at least one in your party. The second must is their cream cheese cinnamon rolls, which tend to sell out fast. On this day, 2 of our 3 party got the southwest brunch bowl with poblano, black beans, home fries, 2 poached eggs, crispy onion straws, cheddar jack, and chorizo with chipotle sauce and avocado crema. The last of our party got the Mifflin, a maple hollandaise over poached egg and BBQ pulled pork all on top of a waffle with home fries on the side. Simply amazing! Fat Dog is a must for the start of your adventure day as well as entertaining out of towners. If you don't have time to sit you can also order to go!

Sweet hole in the wall with a small but good menu. The french toast looked fab but I had opted for the hash will have to try next time portions are large. Coffee is strong and yummy. My only complaint was my hash wasnt very warm.

This place is worth the drive, any extra minute looking for parking or any wait. It is THAT good! The food options are creative, delicious, cooked to perfection, and presented beautifully. If you can arrive right at 8am to avoid a wait.

Visited on a Friday morning. Street parking was not a problem with several spots nearby open. Dining room is small and was at about 85% capacity, staff seemed to used to this level and kept up with everyone well. Prices are right in the zone I would expect for a dine in breakfast place and the food quality was excellent. Portions were very good and IMHO the value for the $$$ is excellent here.

It's a small place but they do what they can. I had the breakfast banana split which was delicious. Prices weren't terrible. Coffee wasn't great imo

It was a nice place and cute little place, however, The atmosphere was kind of loud on a Sunday, the customer service was mixed and the food was good.
