Been here a few times. The most recent visit I don't see any hairnets for anyone handling the food. I had placed an order through the app that said it would would be ready at 4:02 and it is currently 4:24 as of this sentence being written. Apparently the ticket for my order hadn't even been printed to even begin prep. We finally were able to leave at 4:26. Every single time I've been in the restaurant, the floor has been sticky. Not even a little sticky. It feels like there is a either a permanent film of filth on the floor or they're not mopping properly. Honestly, if I wasn't picking up food for someone else, I'd never come back for any order of my own. I won't even comment on the employees because that would just be one more bad thing on a growing list of reasons to never visit.

First off I don't know how there still in business, The service was worst service I've ever had in my 38 year alive, No one had gloves, hair net, Mask anything. The whole time I'm trying to order the worker is holding a conversation with a co worker about personal life, Half the sides were empty, with the empty service tray dirty still in the food bar. Then I get my order done and some how I'm standing at the register for around 25 30 minutes waiting for my tray of food. Finally get my large meal had to remind worker I paid for a drink to get my cup, I sit at a table an it's so wobbly only a phone book would help it , Then I pop open the tray and take a bite of the worst tasting cold turkey and mashed potatoes. And the macaroni was so watery the noodles were floating. Please don't waste your time or hard earned money on this clearly ran down establishment. We work to hard to get sorry behind service and cold food, someone needs to inspect this restaurant cause it's clearly not up to code won't come back or recommend....

Food was not prepared @ 5:30pm. When we received our order it was lukewarm at best. Chicken was dry. Most of the lights were out in the dining room giving it an appearance from the outside that the restaurant was closed. On the inside it was gloomy. The workers do not wear masks. Go somewhere else.

This was the worst fast food experience I can honestly say I ever remember having. We were there an hour and 1/2 before closing time at 5:30 PM. They were out of chicken. Yes this is Boston market, known for their chicken, but they were out. They were out of half of the sides. We had a very large party, and after 3 people ordered chicken sandwiches they ran out of bread. They were also out of chicken potpie which was a favorite among the young people with us. When we finally did receive our food, most of it was cold. They forgot to give cornbread with the meals, and when we asked we got eye rolls. Besides all of that, the absolute worst thing was the employees. They were unprofessional and most definitely rude! I can't believe this place is still in business with all of the bad reviews. Employees who do not enjoy their job should not be allowed to work there. They were talking amongst themselves and ignoring customers. They were snappish with us when we asked questions, rolling their eyes and acting very impatient with us.They made absolutely no attempt to hide the fact that they were miserable and it was a very unpleasant experience for us. The sign on the door says you must wear a mask to enter. Some of our large party of 12 couldn't even come in because we couldn't scrounge enough masks together.. Once we got in however, no one was wearing a mask. Not even the employees. Not one of the employees behind the counter, including the cook, were wearing masks, gloves or hair nets! Serving food with no gloves is disgusting.. People with long black curly hair hanging in their face and no hair nets is disgusting! How in the world can this place pass any type of food/health inspection? This location should be shut down. Apparently no one cares because the reviews of this type of behavior from this location have been going on for over a year now. The same employees are still working here with the same rude attitudes and the same disgusting hygiene practices. The whole restaurant is filthy. The floors are sticky, the tables are sticky and the whole place is very dimly lit. I'm assuming that's because they don't want you to see how dirty it is or they want you to think they're closed when you look in from the outside. It would be best if everyone would just avoid this location as much as possible!!

My husband and I visited the Dover DE Boston Chicken yesterday. We are each 68, and recently retired with a lot of long, hard worked years in education and technology. To our surprise and dismay we were treated with so much disrespect, disgust, and attitude that it was scary. We maintained our good manners every step of the way but could not get out of there quick enough. The lousy and mean-spirited service, ho-hum food and filthy environment was the WORST restaurant experienced in our life. TWO Recommendations for Your Safety and Health: (1) Stay Away from Boston Market Dover DE (2) Close Down the Boston Market Dover DE.

You really can't beat the buy one get one free deal. The roast turkey is my go-to. It's always delicious, especially with some mashed potatoes and mac n cheese. The meat loaf is also decent. I like that you can order online and pick it up in 10 - 15 mins. They're always really fast.

Is absolutely disgusting! They were out of everything. They were out of Broccoli, 3 different flavors of chicken, and believe it or not they were out of napkins!! They put nothing in our bag, and we had to ask for wet wipes to wipe our hands. Cornbread was ice cold. The place was absolutely filthy and the employees weren't very friendly. Wouldn't tell my worst enemy to go to this place

Ordered turkey ahead online for Christmas Eve dinner. The weather starting getting bad so I called to see if I could pick up early. The people working were so helpful and understanding and accommodated us with no problem. So understanding and kind. Everything was perfect. Thank you so much! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

So disappointed in the lack of customer service and having a lack of sides at 7pm on a Saturday night. No paper towel for dining and the bathroom, soda machine out of order, 30 minute wait for chicken, no able to accept cash, and forgot to add my nuggets so I had to come back. Most of the servers were on their phones and little emphathy towards customer for not having the necessary supplies. Just expected more from Boston Market.

The food was disgusting! The girl cutting the chicken looked nasty and the other girl was wearing a head scarf. So inappropriate! The corn bread was cold and the girl gave me the wrong portion of chicken. Good thing I looked. The soda machine was broken and the girl offered me milk. I declined and asked if I can get money off or sub it for a side. I guess she went to asked someone which was a joke. I was then only limited to like basic things like mashed potatoes and corn. It’s not my fault I can’t get a drink. They should of offered me a dessert. I’m never going back. I wish I read the reviews first. I hate spending my hard earned cash on food that is basic.

This restaurant has seen better days. The entire parking lot is littered with giant pot holes. I thought I might need a new alignment after parking here. The inside was very clean. The man who took my order was very friendly and nice. The food was hot and it was very good. The booths definitely need to be fixes though, it felt like I had wood jabbing my backside the entire time. I will definitely eat here again but probably for takeout or Door Dash. Please fix this restaurant because I do not want to see it just waste away.

This is the second time I visited this location and received cold food both times. The place was not busy, staff watching TV on their phone. Open unprofessional conversations happening. I never complain but this is ridiculous not to mention can not be able to pass a food safety inspection. Certain temperatures of food need to be at 135 and above. Needless to say we got ours Luke warm at best. Pot holes outside are a huge problem as well. If you are going to close, just close. Very sad and a waste of my money both times. I will not be back to the Dover Delaware location.

This store handled their business with only 3 staff members doing Thanksgiving orders for catering, heat & serve etc.. They did a phenomenal job handling customers online orders, pickups and walk-ins! Even with staff shortages the General Manager assisted me and, carried my boxed order out to the car. High five to all the staff who worked tirelessly getting all those orders out to Kent County customers! I appreciate you ALL for making sure my Thanksgiving was complete.

Food overall was good but the Manager is not so good. Yelling at a customer MULTIPLE times because she wasn’t speaking up!??? My cousin had to sit here and yell at him to get him off the poor girls back. I only rated it 5 stars because the food but this man was just rude.

Thursday 2-23 walked in @ 5:45. There was simply 1 employee in the entire building. I wanted a half chicken with 3 sides. Noticed that the only sides available were garlic potatoes and Mac & cheese (that was it) he claimed that they were out of everything else. The place was totally void of customers during dinner time. This particular Boston market is going downhill very fast. I walked out totally ashamed for them.

The chicken was good the garlic potatoes were my favorite item out of them all. The Mac and cheese, and Broccoli were just ok the food was very basic and bland not alot of seasoning. No flavor nothing outstanding, but it wasn't the worst I've ever had I enjoyed it. The restaurant wasn't the cleanest though the bathroom toilet looked like somebody blew up and died while going #2. The toilet and the sink were yellow stained with black dirt lines running down it like someone smoked cigarettes in there for 40 years and never cleaned it.

Online order was fast but the place was filthy. The windows, tables and counters are disgusting. It wasn't busy at all but yet there was definitely no one cleaning that's for sure. The food I ordered was wrong. Supposed to be mashed potatoes and it was yams. I'll never order from this place again because it's overpriced dry af and the place is gross.

They employees had already cleaned up for night so there was a very limited choice of sides dishes. The chicken was very very dry and the cornbread was under cooked. The red potatoes was delicious and was the only thing in our ordee that qas good. Could not get a fountain drink due to the machine already being cleaned. And they only had coke lemonade diet coke and water in bottles. The employees was not rude but the atmosphere was as if we was bothering them cause they was ready to go. My family stopped going to Boston Market cause they was always out of chicken 2 hours before they closed. Decided to try again after a year and we will never eat there again. It was a waste of $30+.

Ordered food via the mobile app that included cookies and a bottle of water. When I got there, I was told there was no water or cookies. Which is fine, but they somehow could not give me my money back for the items they don’t have. I had to enquire about it for them to get the manager on staff to try and refund me my money. He told me he would contact the owner about it. As expected, no one called me back. Thanks for stealing my money!!!

The incredible shrinking chicken ....... ordered the quarter chicken meal. I would have sworn this was a Cornish game hen the portion was so small it fit in a side service bowl. Two stars for food based on serving, not taste. The flavor is still there. Corn bread was also tiny but tasty. Location had no meat loaf, only 4 side selections at prime meal time. Have to wonder if location is living on borrowed time.

Went today for lunch - used to be one of my favorite places, hadn’t been there in a while. What restaurant has no drinks at all ?? I had planned to eat in but this place looks like it’s ready to shut its doors or maybe it should. Sad.

There was very few sides to choose from. Could not even get a half chicken because they said they had none. My wife got a very small portion of turkey- sad portions. Must be under new owners Used to be my favorite place. Now the place is sad. The only drinks they had available was diet cola and water only. Second bad experience. Now I say avoid this place

Although the location and employees were good I feel like it was false advertisement on the meal for 3 turkey meal for $45. They show a whole turkey, but what you get are turkey slices not even equivalent to a half of turkey it seemed.

Food was so so. The chicken was a bit under seasoned vs most Boston Markets. No drinks available as both the soda machine and the lemonade machine were out of order. Somewhat disappointing experience here.

The e building looked abandoned bushes weren't cut and the drive thru was closed down. The young lady there I don't know if she was the cashier or supervisor but her demeanor wasn't too welcoming. She looked as if she didn't want to be there. Food was okay but I won't go there for service anymore. Thumbs down πŸ‘Ž

Had to wait a few minutes for someone to assist. She was pleasant and most of all the food is still good. Love the sweet potato casserole.
