Our server was, Sadie, who was so sweet and gave us recommendations on what to do today (we’re traveling from Florida). The food was delicious, and served very quickly.

Food was fine. It is worth its cost(cheap). I was really surprised this family diner didn’t have a changing table anywhere??? I had to change my daughter on the table in front of everyone. Very weird. Get a changing table like every other business in the world.

We discovered this little gem recently while driving through Dover and thought we'd stop for a pastry. We ended up sharing them in the dining room with a glass of raspberry iced tea. Our waitress, Tiffany was friendly and very attentive. The two turnovers we tried were delicious as was the tea. Prices were very reasonable and there was a big selection. We'll be sure to stop by if in the area again and highly recommend it.

Always perfect! Great little breakfast place that has that amazing small town service and atmosphere. Staff gets to know you and remembers. Bakery always had great options, fresh and delicious!

This place is incredible! A staple of the Dover community. Probably the best pancakes I've ever had. Also my favorite bakery without a doubt. The siblings that own this coffee shop have a heart of gold and are so sweet.

We were actually looking for Italian Bread at the bakery and when that didn't work out, we decided to visit the coffee shop and have some breakfast. We love coffee....dark roast specifically and just can't seem to find it! After complaining to our waitress she came back a few minutes later with two fresh cups of coffee from the bakery which she said was Columbian....well, that was some great coffee followed by delicious Corn Beef Hash and equally delicious homemade potatoes...breakfast was delicious....what a Gem this little coffee shop is...but without Leslie it would not have been the same great experience. She went out of her way...and that deserved a 5 star rating....but also the food was great at a reasonable price...overall, a very happy environment.

Harvey’s will never let you down! From an amazing breakfast to incredible bakery items, everything I’ve gotten from here has been fantastic. The service in both the restaurant and the bakery is always outstanding. Everything we’ve gotten from the bakery has been delicious, but most notable is the “pink lemonade” cake I got here after absolutely butchering a homemade cake for a birthday. I came in panicked and in need of a birthday cake for the day of, and I had so many choices for ready-to-go cakes! They even put writing on it for me and totally saved the day. Everyone loved it!

Our 10yr old loved the food so much he insisted I leave a review. He rated their pancakes 10 out of 10 and I really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy with eggs. Very good food, nice staff and super reasonable prices.

My go-to coffee shop and bakery when I'm in NH! Breakfast is good. Reasonably priced. I also purchased several dozen assorted baked goods for the church coffee hour. Very little was left!

Still a great place to have a breakfast!🤗😋 Friendly and efficient folks! The pork pie meal was tasty and their maple rounds are Heaven.!

Not only was our lunch awesome, Dean Phillips was there, too. He is running for president as a Democrat. We spoke with him and his team. Google him for yourself. In my opinion, he is what's needed to heal our country. Harvey's was fortunate to be his host for lunch.

Stopped here to pick up a blueberry pie and coffee prior to our return home. I called ahead and picked up the pie, and I can honestly say it was the best blueberry pie I have ever eaten. The crust and filling were cooked to perfection. The service here was also top-notch. I will be returning here during our next trip to New England!

This restaurant and bakery is so delicious and right in downtown Dover. Parking is right in front and around the corner. It is next to so many awesome places too. From the name I never knew they sold breakfast!!! Super nice staff and a pretty big space. Only negative to keep in mind is that it feels crowded so I would say 4-5 people at the most.

Places like these are just few and far between nowadays. The donuts and everything from the bakery is great. The breakfast is amazing. And all of it is fairly inexpensive. My go to spot

Ate at the sit-down restaurant. Enjoyed the atmosphere and food was delicious. Large varied menu. But service was poor. Our waitress was rude and brusk with us but super friendly with the table across from us. I asked if I could get kielbasa with my meal and she said no. But then she said yes when the man asked the same exact thing at the next table. I want to say I enjoyed this restaurant but our interactions with our waitress were just very off putting.

Classic bakery/ cafe, family-owned and staffed. A/C makes this a cool place to eat when it's hot out. Service is fast and friendly, the familiar comfort food is consistent. Pam's turkey casserole is one of my favorites.

Good old fashioned place. About as average a breakfast spot as it gets. The bakery has great treats, sometimes a bit dry for my taste, but seems to cater to old fashioned crowd well as my parents love the baked goods. Great chicken pot pies to take n bake.

Hi, first time going today and was happy to see pastries I use to get at Italian bakery in Massachusetts where Im originally from. I got a mocha cake, eclair, rasberry filled puffed turnover. Got home and sliced into each, what a real disappointment, the filling in turnover was not whipped cream (the way real italians make it) it was frosting and some jelly, the so called mocha cake was just white cake with jelly smeared on sides with coconut and maple frosting ontop. I have worked in a real italian bakery in South Boston with true pastries. These I got today were not worth the price they charge for knockoffs.

My favorite place. Best homemade food and baked goods. Their pork pie is the best I have ever had. Cream puffs have real whipped cream, not frosting like most bakeries. I've never had a bad meal there. And I always have to stop at the bakery counter on my way out. Even my very picky older sister loves the food there. You can't go wrong.

I had a fantastic breakfast here with my wife and son. Service was fast. Food was hot and delicious. The waiter was very professional. I'll definitely stop back and next time get the signature maple doughnut square!

Came here to try their donuts, and they were awful. I got 3 different ones, all were pretty bad, like the quality you get from Hannaford. Only double the price. Really expensive for non-gourmet donuts. I have tried a lot of donuts in NH and surrounding states since moving here over a year ago. And donuts don't have to be fancy for me. But these were just flat-out bad. It makes me wonder if these other reviewers have tried other donuts before. Service was nice though, so a star for that. Maybe their other food is great.

Pros: Good bakery, good service, good pastries, haven't tried the breads yet. It is refreshing to taste pastries without an overload of sugar. Very good pies. Almost 4 stars. Cons: Lacks the amazing-ness of Jewish, Italian, French, and other bakeries I have been to. Notes: Croissants are very light and fluffy (more than usual but I enjoy it) but lacks the crispness and layering. So far, the best croissants I have found in Dover.

This review has nothing to do with the bakery halp, but the coffee shop/restaurant. The sandwiches are simple, and really can't be messed up. The clam chowder however? It's very watery, and almost no clams... Not at all how New England Clam Chowder should be made. They serve breakfast too. The fries however were tasty. Sandwiches come with two pickle chips. It's a cute little place, although a bit dated. my guess is that everything is original. The counter offers very low to the floor stools, the counter itself is below butt height,, benches at the tables are low too. The carpet is old, dingy, and frankly doesn't smell too good. The waiter was pleasant, but the table had some dried food on it (they give you place mats). The bakery section seems to have some good offerings, from pastries to pies and cake.

Such yummy treats! I'm not a cake lover, but I absolutely LOVE their Chocolate Mousse Torte! Perfect for every occasion! They have a small and a large. Reasonably priced.
