We had an enjoyable Sunday lunch here, the food is reasonable in price and the menu, whilst not extensive, had all the dishes you would want for a Sunday midday meal. Mainly, and enjoyably, English staples, well cooked. We went in winter so we weren't able to make the most of the lovely riverside location.

I had a wake held here. I ordered the Silver buffet. There was plenty of food which was really good, it was displayed nicely, and everything tasyed excellent. We asked for background music which they gave us. All in all it could not have gone better. I would definitely use this pub for family gatherings anytime. I have previously been here for meals which were very good too. Highly recommended!

We usually visit the Dog and Duck pub for lunch during the summer and sit in the garden. Yesterday it was pouring with rain so we went inside and had a lovely, leisurely lunch. I do not know anything about the Leisure Park.

Worth taking a little drive thru the country to find this gem. Dry well kept, friendly motivated staff. The food is plain English style but the quality is exceptional, the portions generous and the price will put a smile on your face. I can recommend the fresh dressed crab and prawn salad πŸ₯— Then you can enjoy a walk along the river Stour that runs right beside.

Good clean rooms with the added bonus of aircon quite location with a pub on site and right by a river.

We had a friendly welcome, the room was well appointed complete with air conditioning, charge points and spotlessly clean. So many attractions close by, we will be returning.

Stayed here for 2 Nights in a Holiday Room. Room was nice (recently refurbished looking at it) - however Room was not clean, lots of hair, chewing gum on the floor, no clean glasses left in the room for us (and the old dirty ones were left in the room). Drinks were extremely overpriced (Β£10.70 for a Cider and a Rum). Electricity went off on the Second Day and stayed off for four hours, when we asked, staff knew but never thought to tell us. Wouldn't recommend.

Went in February so site was very quiet (which suited me). Caravan was very clean, comfortable, warm and well equipped. Pub onsite had very good London Pride, I didn’t try the Doom Bar. Overall very pleasant stay.

Nice place for a quiet break, some lovely walks around the area and the Dog & Duck Pub is very good. They have some nice ales on offer and the food is reasonabley priced and very good. 😁😁😁

Nice clean rooms above the pub, ideal for a quick break. Rooms came with nice additions like free breakfast croissants, Orange juice and fridge with cold water. Bedrooms appeared clean and recently decorated. Only issue was the green light a wee bit bright when your trying to rest. Parking is available in a private bay. Would stay here again as it’s nice location great walk along the canal very peaceful. Also aircon fan in room made room comfortable to sleep in. TV with Netflix YouTube etc. If I was reviewing this on four in a bed I would add an extra Β£20 on my room payment, the downstairs pub was a nice atmosphere had some scampi and chips and my wife had one of the nicest portions of chicken and leek pie available for dinner.
