Good little place for coffee and breakfast with decent vegan food including cakes. Staff here are attentive and nice with a modern atmosphere. Pros: Vegan breakfast and coffee were very good quality and service was fast. Cons: Portion size for the price is a little steep. (Coffee and breakfast is roughly £15)

Poor choice of food for evenings. Basically burgers or tapas/mezze. No starters. Very basic puddings/dessert menu. Expensive for what you get.

I've eaten here a few times now, breakfast and dinner and it was so nice everytime. Always good sized portions especially for breakfast (I mean look at the picture!! Lol)

Service was great. Staff are super friendly and attentive. Great breakfast menu selection. Breakfast menu has a pretty good selection of meals for those with dietary requirements too! Think we're going to have to go back to try more of the menu! Food came really quickly, was hot and tasted good. Great new addition to the Downend high street. We will definetly be back again, and again and again!

Nice atmosphere and place. There are many flowers and everything is quite aesthetic. Nice and big dishes with good prices and lovely staff. The only think I disliked was the very short table we were accommodated in, It wasn't very pleasant eating hunched over.

Been a few times with my family., Well looked after by all the staff. always a warm welcome by all and Manager. Food was great and we all have had a lovely time. Top marks from us.

The food is excellent. A good range for meat eaters or vegetarians. The small plate options are not so small so the 3 for 16 quid odds is a good deal and you get to try a range of things. The service is good and a nice atmosphere if a little noisy as the sound bounces of the walls and ceiling. It's still up there as one of my favourite eating places though!

Needing somewhere for breakfast with nice, polite and friendly staff? Head here! My first visit to downend and also being on my own and a bit nervous walking in alone and straight away made welcome and shown to a booth which was clean and comfy with power sockets should I have needed my phone or laptop charged. Plenty of Gluten free and dietary options on the menu. Food was quick but not rushed, I had the large breakfast (without mushrooms) (see picture) and it tasted great and was slightly more than I could eat.

The food was delicious - had a sandwich which comes with fries and salad/coleslaw. Really fresh bread and tasty generous filling. The only downside is the service is very slow - possibly because there's not enough staff.

Fantastic place! Went on a buzzy early Friday evening. Very popular and although busy, was not overcrowded and the service was quick, friendly and attentive throughout. Drinks and food arrived so quickly after ordering. Piping hot , tasty and generous portions. I had the chicken caesar salad, which was really packed with fresh chicken and additional avocado , a side of sweet potato fries were great but not needed given the size of the salad. My friend had three plates with fries and was similarly full. I highly recommend - heard the breakfast is amazing too so we'll be going back to try it out!

Went here with my mum after a long drive for some lunch. Service was friendly and attentive. Good value for money, big portions and tasted good. Server with short browney hair, glasses black head was lovely. Good music and lighting. Clean toilet.

Brilliant time had by all. We were at our Christmas 🎄 get together. The service was impeccable. The Courvoisier luxury hot chocolate was divine 👌 As were the Cinnamon & Hot Chocolate Churros. My two Best Friends had proper meals which they enjoyed. I've been here several times before, usually for breakfast. I thoroughly recommend this Restaurant/Bar. If I could give it 10 stars ⭐ I would.

Lovely place and have had some great breakfasts there in the past but unfortunately the last time we went for lunch the food was terrible. It Clearly had just been heated up or sat under a heat lamp and was absolutely tasteless. We had the fish cakes, chilli, green curry and shared some small plates too. Will be sticking to the breakfast or burger menu if I can be enticed into going again.

Lovely restaurant, let down by the quality of it's food. We visited Mokka for the first time for dinner. The decor and ambiance was lovely and the staff welcoming and attentive. The food arrived promptly and was well presented but for us was slightly lacking. We ordered two different chicken dishes and both had the same processed breaded chicken portions, think Birds Eye frozen food section. Not awful, but something you would usually serve children and I won't be in a hurry to return

Beautiful inside, kind staff. The food was tasty and good portions. The acoustics made it a bit too loud for clear conversations but that can't be helped i suppose.

Very accommodating, as we didn't have a booking. We had a soya latte and a vegan carrot cake, which was delicious. Highly recommend!!!
