We
were
visiting
Downers
Grove
for
a
production
my
daughter
is
a
part
of,
and
we
decided
to
get
dinner
before
we
left.
My
daughter
wanted
"pasta,"
and
a
quick
Google
search
sent
us
down
the
road
to
Gatto's.
Our
first
impression
was
very
positive.
Seeing
that
they
offered
indoor/outdoor
seating
was
the
perfect
compromise
because
she
wanted
to
be
indoors,
I
wanted
to
be
outside,
so
we
both
got
our
ways.
We
were
immediately
seated
and
brought
the
most
fantastic
loaf
of
bread
with
butter
while
we
decided
on
our
appetizer
and
meals.
We
ended
up
getting
the
fried
zucchini,
which
was
PERFECT...most
places
overcook
it
to
mush,
but
this
was
cooked
through
while
still
being
slightly
firm.
Oh,
and
did
I
mention
the
bread
just
kept
coming??
Aaannnddd,
we
just
kept
eating
it!
By
the
time
our
food
came
(which
really
didn't
take
long
at
all!)
we
had
filled
up
on
the
bread,
so
we
took
most
of
our
entrees
home.
I
got
the
lasagna
and
it
was
cheesy
and
meaty
and
flavorful...
probably
the
best
damn
lasagna
I've
had
other
than
my
own.
My
daughter
had
the
ravioli
with
marinara
and
she
really
liked
it.
We
have
to
come
back
to
town
in
a
few
weeks
and
I'll
be
back
to
try
some
of
the
wines
I
saw
on
the
wine
list
and
I'm
really
looking
forward
to
their
signature
salad.
Definitely
5
stars!
