This park packs a lot in for a small space! It has a playground for kids, multiple baseball fields, a few tennis courts, and a full length turf field. The walking path is great for my lunch break! Always clean and well maintained.

The tennis courts are in such bad shape that it is too dangerous to play a competitive match. There are many long, wide cracks and rough surface areas, as well as poor drainage leading to a buildup of grime. These are slip an fall hazards!

Doerhoefer park has three baseball fields complete with home run fences and lights for night games. They're also public restrooms in a drinking fountain, along with a playground for younger siblings to play on the playground during baseball games. There's also an astro turf football / soccer field that also has lights for night games. All of the fields are very well maintained and have good drainage allowing games to be played even after rain. Each of the three baseball fields and the football field I'll have bleachers to watch the games from.

Nice field well maintained .Good experience all around

I played sports here when I was a kid and now my kids play sports here too. They put a nice turf on the football field, there are a couple baseball fields, basketball courts, a running or walking track, a park to entertain the other kids that are not playing whatever sport that day. The park also has a concession stand building in the middle with snacks and drinks.

Great place for watching a football or baseball game. Big park for the kids to play at. The bathrooms is a plus and lots of parking

Great local park. Turf field for soccer and football. Two baseball fields and one softball field. Park with a spot for littles and bigger kids. Tennis, pickleball and basketball courts. Restrooms and water fountain and a great climbing tree top off a great park.

Beautiful park, decent tennis courts

Such a beautiful park. So much to do Basketball, Tennis, Pickleball, Soccer, football, baseball and a park. The park is kept up very nice.

Great place to play and watch a softball game. Nice facilities and bathrooms.

Pros: Clean park, play equipment for 2-5 yrs and 5+ yrs, indoor bathrooms available but I can't attest to the cleanliness bc I didn't go in, lots of shade for a picnic. Cons: baby swings are in a separate area from the regular swings, no handicap accessible swings, there's a cement "lip" around the park that's only 2 inches high but it would make it hard for a wheelchair to enter the play area.

Nice clean and organized little park

Doerhofer park is a lovely park situated in the northwest part of Downers Grove. All of its facilities are maintained very well. Speaking of its facilities, there are 2 baseball fields, a softball field, 4 tennis courts, 2 pickleball courts, 2 batting cages, a playground, concession stand with restrooms and water fountains, and a combination football/soccer field. It is a wonderful park to go to.

Parking isn’t the greatest to access the play ground . They have a football field and a couple of baseball field. The park overall is clean and they have public restrooms and picnic tables.
