It's sometimes kind of difficult for me to rate a place 5 stars, but this place totally over exceeded it's expectations. The pulled pork bbq sandwich was phenomenal and so tender. Don't even get me started on the smoked bbq wings! The wings itself were so full of smoked flavor, the house bbq sauce was just the cherry on top. Location is quite comfortable, nothing too big but it packs an attitude. Would definitely be back to try out the rest of the menu, maybe even sit in the bar!

Pros: Food. For a bar the bar food is excellent. The highlight was a toss up between the wings and rib tips. Both are good but the rib tip may a pushed the wings out just via bulk. Normally tips are a bit and toss kinda portion. These are meaty and well prepared. The drinks are a pleasant mix you would expect at a bar/pub. Staff were a refreshing after the dry spell that I have run it to. Cons: Set up was kinda weird. You place all orders at the bar. Then have your order brought to you. That limits the interaction with the waitstaff, and is a bit cumbersome. Prices are not outrageous but some things are pricey, some are very reasonable. Definitely try the food, enjoy the feel of the place and grab another round. Who ever said they had too many rounds with them. No one I know.

Very delicious! Me and my boyfriend went for brunch and it was actually very yummy. Their wasn’t a long wait time at all and also plenty options for seating either indoor or outdoor. The food was so good and the michelada was good too! I got the chilaquiles and my man got the breakfast tacos and both were super good. The only thing was the chilaquiles didn’t come with the meat because they didn’t have it which was a bummer. Other than that it’s was good. Also we got the Mac and cheese loaded which was also so bomb!

I met up with some friends at this place for a drinks and dinner. This is my first time being in this little strip in Downy CA. Very nice place right next to two free public parking structures. Their beer selection isn't huge but it's nice plus they have other beer in a refrigerator in case you don't wants what's on tap.Their food isn't amazing and will leave it at ok nothing special really. I ordered their hot 🔥 chicken sandwich, to my liking and opinion it was disappointing because it was kind of bland not spicy at all. Their bacon 🥓 wrapped hotdogs 🌭 are ok but you can find better on the streets of Downtown Los Angeles lol. Their Horchata staute 🍺 tastes like cinnamon coffee but not horchata. Overall, this is a nice place with plenty of sitting area both inside and their outside patios.

Love it when they got Saturday comedy night. Then they have edm nights on Friday

Food is good, but don't assume you will actually get spicy when you request such. I was a bit discouraged TV couldn't be adjusted to game I was interested in watching despite no one else sitting at an angle where they could watch that TV so obviously it wasn't because someone else was actually watching the game on display at the time. (All tvs had same game, seems boring) The server whom brought food out kept yawning 🥱 on way to my table and on heading away from it, also he wasn't able to provide sharable size plates and instead gave me small to go box 🤷🏽‍♀️ I ordered 2 big dishes and it was two of us but only received 1 fork. 🤔 I like what I ate but won't be dying for it too soon. I might just pick up to go next time, definitely probably will eat more comfortable in my vehicle while streaming game of MY choice via cellphone. 📒✍

I’m a Marine Corps veteran. Hadn’t been is this place for about 6 years. From what I understand it’s under new management. Went with a fellow Marine veteran. Food wasn’t at good as before, neither was the menu. But our waitress Marisol was awesome. She made our night.

Revisited this bar for my birthday. Friendly staff. Food was good. They seem to love their Vets. Gonna bring my Dad's dog tags here when that time comes.

Great place, good food, good vibes. Can't find any drawbacks besides the selection of beer and parking. Great 4 star spot. Staff is friendly, and on point. Delicious burgers. Unique carne asada/chili cheese fries blend.

Affordable drinks. Able to sit in different sections of the bar. Little to no staff have to deal with drunk and sometimes violent people. Restrooms are dirty because of inconsiderate drunk people. However, staff that serviced us still had good attitude and didn't make us uncomfortable for being there.

I have been there a few times since I work in downey,everyone was cool there will definitely keep going there when I can,not a big menu with food,but lots of drinks

The staff was really nice and it’s a cool location with a great cause. We really wanted to love it! The beer was warm and flat. The burger was ordered with no cheese, but they clearly scrapped it off. It came out soggy and tasted like tomato soup with how much ketchup they put on it to cover that they scraped off the cheese. Otherwise the burger would have been great if they would have remade it instead of covering it with more ketchup. First time a restaurant didn’t check in on how things tasted. We ate half our meals and drank about 10% of our beers. The waiter brought us our check and said to have a nice day. I probably wouldn’t be leaving this review if they would have asked how it was.

The food is pretty amazing here and the service is some of the best. I highly recommend trying out if you have a chance.

We were there at an off-hour so the place was quiet. The waitress was wonderfully helpful and knowledgeable and all of her suggestions were tremendous. I thoroughly enjoyed my rib tips and their fries (ask for extra crispy) and their wings were good as well. And I had their signature beer on tap which was lovely but I can't remember the name. If I'm ever in the area again I will go and enjoy their fare.

Delicious food! Burgers, chicken, and tacos were all very good. Drinks were great as well! Great prices! Awesome service! If I were closer, this would definitely be a place I'd visit very often! Love that it's veteran owned too!
