Great place if you're looking for exotic pets and related products. Most would have to run around looking for great quality, great prices, and all the supplies you would need for an enclosure setup. The employees are always amicable and informative, and the store itself is very pristine. Definitely would recommend this place if you're looking to buy yourself an exotic animal!

I recommend if you're new to the Hobby don't buy from these people! They will tell you anything to sell an animal. They sold me a spider that was very difficult to care for and it died within 2 weeks, it was a very expensive spider. I didn't learn my lessons. I'm really big on buying from small businesses. I went back recently and purchased two white frogs from them these, white frogs were too young to be sold they were the size of a pinky nail. They died in 3 days. They give me false information of how to care for these frogs, by the time I was doing my own research they were dead! Don't buy from these people they don't care about the animals just want to make a profit!!!

The owner was extremely gracious and knowledgeable in answering my noob questions and making me feel welcome. Also a really nice and eclectic selection of pets, from leopard geckos to rough green snakes to weird lil praying mantises that are smaller than ur thumb but look like they will kick your a**. Anyways my frogs are currently hunting down the crickets I bought here today so overall I'm very happy I stopped in.

I do like Reptile Factory. They are clean, very organized and care for their animals. This is in comparison to other similar places I’ve gone to. Another thing I appreciate is that they are near me and are open til 8p. The staff is friendly and as helpful as they can be. I only gave three stars because of how expensive they are in comparison to other similar businesses. Their prices have definitely gone up since they’ve moved from their old location. They also tend to run out of things often when I just happen to decide going there-like, feeders, leaf litter, substrate, etc. So, it’s best to call ahead and ask before you go to see if they have what you are looking for in stock. Their point system (rewards) is pretty lame too. I think they expire, but you barely make anything on a purchase, especially if you don’t go there often. Other than that, I do like this business over all and I’d still shop here when I can. Id recommend going here if organization, cleanliness and special are for their animals is important to you. Some other places, you can tell they just don’t care for their critters and live in a mess.

Wonderful staff with great supplies for bioactive set ups! From substrate to isopods and feeder insects to plants and wood, I'm very happy that I had a chance to stop by! It can be difficult to find reputable reptile shops that are responsible and up to date with the best husbandry care!

Clean store, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Close to the freeway and easy to get in and out of the shopping center. Delivery and curbside service available. I'll be back!

Love this place, bought a variable king snake, pac man frog and a pvc enclosure. Super satisfied. We get our pinkies and. Feeders from them aswell. Always a pleasure to go in and look around. A little small place but i like that. Looking forward to buying more animals from them. Thanks for everything you guys make getting the stuff i need easy and i dont worry about it not being great quality. Me and My Boyfriend love you guys! Keep up the great work!!!

We purchase a Gecko from this place, we love our baby. Everyone here is very helpful and awesome . I truly recommend anyone that is looking to get a reptile to come here . You can get anything you need in one place, parking is awesome plenty or parking and business hours are also great .

Reptile Factory always has what I need for my bearded dragons. The folks that work there are always very nice, patient and helpful—which I appreciate. I have a class pet and trust that I’ll find what I need from here!

The red foot tortoise I bought from Ken dogs in Whittier was so dehydrated I went to Reptle Factory in Downey and we saved Honolulu Shelly! From a pet shop that didn't care about their reptiles! Our Baby Shelly is so happy now!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND, They overcharged me making me pay $220 in a tarantula cost $79 They Lied 🤥 to me saying “they don’t the sex of the tarantula”. They just said that cuz they know it was a male and they only live 3y when the female live 20y (reason female is expensive) and u can clearly see its a male cus the 🥊 and they have a belly bottom (only males have it). It was my first one so in the moment I didn’t know about so I was trusting in the “professionals”. Every reptile store told me u can easy see it was w male without check the molt Next time don’t lie to your customers 👍

It's not a big place but the beautiful reptiles they have make up for it and the employees were very knowledgeable about the reptiles and it shows that they care .

It's a small store but they have a little bit of everything, from snakes to frogs, millipedes, various feeders, live plants, all kinds of substrate, enclosures, bulbs, etc. The store is immaculate, all animals well cared for, and the staff friendly and helpful. Their animal stock is smallish with a rapid turnover, so no critter is languishing around depressingly. Straight up win in there.
