They definitely need more workers, the check out line was very long. Not their fault they were just overwhelmed by lots of people. Hopefully corporate can help them out.

I hate them for doing this but my dog loves them for it. They have all the treats and bones and toys in the first two isles of the store. So my dog know to go straight in and starts to pick out what she wants. Meanwhile I have to stand there because my dog does not leave until she picks her treats.

The place is very nice and clean and a great place to bring you're pet's for grooming but some of the staff no thank you especially the so call Maria the supervisor or manager she is a real joke talk's about other employees franchise needs to do something about her not bringing my baby to this place when she is here but other wise its a nice place

I love seeing people with their pets in here. All of the dogs are super friendly. They love this store. I also saved a life and bought a beta fish for my daughter. She named her cinnamoroll ❤️

Busy spot. But they were well staffed; no one was standing around. The line moved fast. My puppy was groomed and I appreciated that the groomer knew his limits so it remained a positive experience. And I love there are wipes and bags available when there are accidents in the aisles.

BEWARE!!! Don't rent the bissell carpet cleaners. And if you do please clean every nook and cranny. Or they will charge you a cleaning fee of 30 and won't get your deposit back either. Total of $60. Got charge for it. For not being able to clean areas that are impossible to reach and who knows if they where there before. So be aware before you rent!!!!

Always have a great staff and shelves are stocked pretty well given the shortage on a lot of stuff especially cat food.

On my way home from Fresno to OC thought I would stop by and grab my prescription dog food on the way.... Manager wouldn't take the prescription I have on my phone that I always use at my home store.... very unprofessional and disappointing... what am I going to do with prescription dog food??? Don't come here

One of the girls at the front desk in the grooming department is rude & unprofessional. Her attitude is what made the whole experience horrible. Then when she called to inform that my dog was ready she hung up right away before I could even say anything. Had to call them back because I didn’t understand what was going on & she continued to have an attitude over the phone. Don’t understand why people work in customer service if they don’t not have the patience to be kind to others. If I could I would leave a negative star review but one start is the lowest.

I needed a new harness for my dog but wasn't sure of the size. I asked for help so that I could get the correct one. The guy looked at my dog, said small and walked away. I purchased a small and then realized after putting it on he needed a medium. Big waste of my time and customer service at checkout and returns could be a lot better.

My boy Cash says the grooming staff is GREAT, especially his girl Lisa L. The store employees have always been friendly and helpful as well.

You always get greeted. They have amazing stock and options. I like "drive up" a lot. Saves me time.

I took my dog, Bella to be groomed on Friday. She has a history of seizures and I let the groomer know that she does not like her nails trimmed with the grinder or cut and to not worry about it if she could not clip her nails. Even though she was an express wash, she was done in less than 30 minutes. That's kind of too quick! When I picked up my dog the groomer said she muzzled my dog to do her nails. A dog who has a history of seizures! It bothered me that my concern was ignored. The groomer also said my dog's nail veins are long and my dog's paws seemed uncomfortable afterwards. I've taken my dog to Petsmart in Whittier before. I think I'll stick with that store as it seems they care about dogs much better or have my dog groomed by a mobile groomer. I have seen the groomers at the Downey location become impatient with dogs too. Never again!

We spend a lot here about every 2 weeks.but always its like 2 dollars off our order. I think it should be more our bill is always 99 to 100. I love this store.thats the only down fall spend alot. Not a good discount

Came in to buy prescription pet food and was told by a woman with glasses and a guy she called up that I couldn't use the prescription that was on my phone through the app and had to get another prescription in order to purchase it. I've used it in both that same exact store where I got the prescription from and in another county. I went to another store and they honored the prescription in the app. Thinking about just making the longer drive from now on.

Everything and more at this store and it's not petco I can't bring myself to support the Padres AT all. Lol. Dodger Love

had someone at the door 15 minutes before closing turning customers away. I desperately needed things for my sick animal only to be turned away.

I got good service and even help from an employee who was off work and didn't mind helping. Everyone was very helpful, because I didn't know where anything was and not sure of exactly what items were best for my cat.

Took my dog in to be groomed but was called back after an hour to come pick up my dog. When I get there he was not groomed and the groomer said they could not groom because he was stresed. They had him siting in a crate the whole time and I even provided my phone number in case, but no call. They just want to charge you more for express wash wich comes at a cost. Manager is a joke. Do not bring your fur babies to this place. Lousy service

They had cats for adoption but the sad part is that is very difficult to adopt, they check your home, your income. I'm sorry but if you want ppl to adopt cats you need to make it easier. I adopted my cat from Downey Animal shelter, he's a bit timid but is so sweet and always wants to be near you. And the process was way easier and now my cat cloudy has a forever home indoors

Always a great experience here. And they always have the cat food my cats love.. ive been to other petsmarts and they are usually low on the food they like.

Great place to buy and aquarium. A lot of good looking and healthy fish. The Angel fish (my favorite) looks great!... and is an excellent place to get the environment or decorations for them.

The staff know they products very well, and check-out was a breeze.

Helpful staff, good variety of fish and some reptiles that not all locations have often.

I wish they.had a 4 1/2 star. From the staff to Veterinary assistant in the back of the store. Everyone is so helpful and.so nice. Still short on a majority of foods but that's all petsmarts now. But if it was closer I'd make this my.store.
