My family loved our visit! The garden was beautiful, the food servings were generous and delicious, and the homemade iced tea was the best we’ve ever had. I was pleased to see plenty of vegetarian options, and the gluten free pizza was great! The staff were very welcoming and we had a great experience.

Delicious food. Very impressed with the prices of their Menu in comparison with some other restaurants in the area. You definitely get your money’s worth. I highly recommend the scones, they were so fresh and soft. Definitely coming back for some cake here.

Upon a winding path, I journeyed to an eatery of unexpected wonder, a realm where culinary magic and joviality entwined like ancient trees. The staff, with their hearty laughter, welcomed us with warmth into the establishment. The menu, a scroll of epicurean delights, beckoned with riddles and surprises. I chose the "Chocolate Muffin," a dish laden with hearty mirth. And lo, in the hidden groves behind the eatery, a nursery of wondrous flora whispered secrets of Middle-earth. In the twilight of this repast, I felt as if I had partaken in a feast of the Elves, a culinary journey that Tolkien himself might have penned.

Very highly recommended place for breakfast, brunch or lunch! Service is polite and not overbearing. Tables aren't cramped together with space between patrons. Background music is calm and adds to the atmosphere. Food presentation and quality is top class. Prices are reasonable and portions match.

Perfect place was easy to find on the main road, thought it was called Bistro but saw afterwards it was infact Perfect place. A secret treat was finding the older vintage items next to the plant 🪴 nursery. Look forward to visiting again with some great cakes and items for sale too

The sandwich was bigger than expected. Lots of filling. Slight Tabasco bite to the sauce used. Quaint place. Was a good stop on the way through Wellington.

Beautiful place, cozy atmosphere with a fireplace, wooden floors, beautiful interior design. Food was lovely (I had a bacon wrap with salad) and a fine hand by the chef. Waitress was great. I will definitely come again - good WIFI and plug available to sit and work while enjoying soft music.

Delightful venue for morning coffee or lunch, today we had both. Delicious scone, lovely lemon meringue and, later, great sandwiches in the garden.

With a very limited menu, you would expect perfection, right? Wrong! We were shocked at what was presented at a high price. The coffee was tasteless, which was a first for me! The burger patty was blue raw and the "chips" tasted like old oil. No follow up by the waiter after receiving our food. We had to find a waiter to complain about the raw patty. This was shocking "service" and not worth the long wait. We will not visit this restaurant ever again. Not worth your money or time.

It's a lovely place, filled with lots of little interesting displays to explore. Most of all the staff are super friendly and that's definitely the best part of my visit apart from the chips, golden, crispy and thick cut. The food was very reasonably priced and tasted fresh. Worth the stop when in Wellington.

2nd visit here. Drove 1 hour to revisit as we enjoyed our 1st so much. Nestled just before Baines Kloof pass. Quaint, lovely cakes, friendly staff. Excellent looking pizzas. We only had cake and coffees though

Arrived and filled in the necessary covid protocol. Then the wait as the place was full. Got a seat but no service after 5 minutes. Got up and went to the front where we spoke to the Roosterkoek person..very friendly and quickly organized a waitress but she also never came back with the 2 coffees after another 5 minutes had passed. Finally the Roosterkoek person acted as waiter and served us we were having some amazing warm breakfast.

If you're looking for a place to buy a single cupcake for a special birthday, this is the place for you - the best double chocolate cupcake ever tasted that melts in your mouth For sit-down, they have friendly staff to show you to a table of your choice. Cozy indoor seating with a fireplace on cold and rainy days. Outside seating as well for the warmer days. Reasonably priced food. Always freshly prepared. A very nice place for brunch or quick bite, as well as a variety of drinks and cakes and sweet treats.

Cute coffee shop. Nicely decorated. Has inside and outside seating. No play area, but there is a bird cage which kids might be attracted to (our little one was). Management/owners are friendly; however, our waiter seemed a bit distracted and even forgot to bring one of the tarts we ordered. I was also a bit disappointed with the market - it’s not the usual market one would picture. The market is basically cakes and other treats offered by the coffee shop and placed on tables in the front passage, as well as a bread table outside by the entrance, where you can choose different kinds of bread loaves to purchase. We ordered a few cakes to try, the best cake for me was the carrot cake, which was perfect.

Really enjoyed our breakfast. Portions were generous and tasty. The tomato smoortjie (traditional homemade relish) perfectly complimented my Farm breakfast. Will definitely visit again when I am in the area.

What a delightful discovery in the countryside. We were looking for a lunch spot today and the charming and hospitable exterior of the Perfect Place immediately caught our attention. This historic building with high ceilings along with a variety of tasteful artworks and a fireplace exuded warmth and class. What was surprising was the relaxed outdoor section in the beautiful tree-covered backyard WITH a child friendly play nook! The pizza and wrap we ordered were incredible! And the watrons, pizza maker, kitchen staff and management made one feel like family (this isn't an overexageration) with their caring and fun personas. The Perfect Place definitely has perfect coffee too (as advertised). All round, the Perfect Place proved to be an absolute treasure! We're definitely coming back and would recommend this restorative space in a heartbeat!

Wow....the most delicious beef and vegetable soup I have tasted in many years. My dad use to make it like this. Thanks so much for a lovely lunch yesterday If the chef is willing to share the soup recipe, I would really like to make it for my family.

Great to see the new management has kept the same staff on board, And especially gratefull that The Perfect Place remains consistent in providing a great place to stop for a bite, a coffee a relax. Thank you so much for the new signs asking patrons not to hold online phone calls and online meetings at the xpense of the rest of the patrons. Today's entitled people lose sight of respecting others. Your food is good, service is good and friendly. Viva. 4 years a regular client and happy to continue!

Absolutely stunning coffee shop and Restaurant in Wellington. Situated in a very old house with not much change to the structure. Old world charm, first world service. Look no further, try it. O, and they sell the most delicious curry marinated lamb rib and sosaties.

Interesting place with many nooks and crannies where on can be seated, both inside and outside. Lovely cakes and other dishes to choose from as well as a whole array of liquid refreshments, both hot and cold. Staff friendly and unobtrusive, nice place a meal or a coffee and cake.

Initially it really looked great. But staff overwelmed by number of visitors and then service was slow. At least I shall go back again.

Waiting forever to be served. Cold coffee. We ordered a cuppacinno and a milkshake for a child. They bring the tallest glas for the milkshake. Terrible as adding ice cubes to the Milkshake. Cold coffee... not great!!! We ordered scones. This came out very late, as if they forgot about it. We were in a hurry as we had a Dr's appointment.....
